We currently need people for the summer season to help with the cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, room changes, gardening and generally keeping the place under control.

We also need someone who can take over from our current manager and run the place for the summer. there would be a small additional payment for this.

There is also some maintenance and building work for people with the right skills.

The work is based on 4 hours a day 5 days per week mostly on a morning but depending on the project we can be flexible
We provide basic food provisions but you will need to cook for yourselves.
Because we are very small the accommodation is is basic and may be in a shared helpx room but there is full use of all house facilities ... more inside

We are looking for a helper or couple from now until the end of August

In 2013 our village bought the pub and it is now run by the community providing not only a traditional pub, but also a cafe and Post Office in the heart of the Peak District National Park with walking, mountain biking (bike hire available locally), running, climbing and fishing on the doorstep. The village has good train and bus connections, with various tourist attractions assessable by public transport.

We welcome helpers who can help us in the cafe, bar, kitchen, general repairs (we currently have quite a few painting jobs) or the grounds, where we have an aspiration to create both a kitchen garden and a cutting garden. If you want to get out of the heat our cellar needs painting!

A sole occupancy bunkhouse with small kitchen, including washing machine and bathroom with bath and shower is available. In exchange for 24 hours work a week we provide facilities to make your own breakfast, and provide lunc... more inside

We live on the outskirts of York, near the racecourse. We have a garden and grow fruit and vegetables on our allotment. We`re a family of musicians so if you come then you`re likely to hear us, (and to join in if you like!).

We try to cultivate using the `no-dig` method and to re-use and recycle wherever possible.
Our house has solar panels on the roof for water and electricity as we are keen to reduce our impact on the environment.

We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and have made some wonderful friends in the process.

The work includes turning and spreading compost, weeding, seed sowing, planting out, grass cutting and fence painting. We`ll also be tackling a neglected allotment, reorganising the layout and making new beds.

From early summer fruit and vegetables are ready to be harvested and prepared for freezing and conserving.
If the weather is bad then there are usually jobs to get on with in the house, garage and greenhouse.

We can offer all meals... more inside

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HELPER TO ASSIST WITH PUPPY MINDING - AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER 2018

We are in rural Herefordshire, close to the border of Wales - a beautiful and interesting area, just a two mile walk from the historic town of Ledbury and the train station which links with Hereford, Birmingham, etc.The rolling countryside and orchards offer lots of walks so it will be especially nice for those of you who enjoy hiking and there is also a pub right next door! Accommodation and English language training if required in our lowly but characterful three hundred year old fen edge cottage. Its scruffy and often a bit dirtyent as I'm decluttering days. But summer is still here andent its beautiful if you like animals and countryside and medieval cities and scruffy old cottages.

Its exactly halfway along the road from Cambridge to Newmarket, the capital of horseracing. Itís 7 miles from each centre. That takes about 15 mins in flowing traffic and considerably more in rush hour.
Urgently in need of helpers at the mom Please come

There is a bus into town(s) from the corner and there is also the park and ride service which is cheaper and quicker than the regular bus which is nearby so we can always run you to or from there in our car.

We are a couple in our mid sixties. I'm a semi-retired freelance English language teacher, teacher trainer and ex-author of resource books for teachers. I'm thinking of moving to Spain or France with the ... more inside
