The work is mainly childcare and helping to cook the evening family meal, light housework and food prep for the bus. Our two boys, aged 4 and 6, who are beautiful and bright, curious, kind, and crazy. We have set up a food business in a 1968 Double Decker Bus and the tourist season is about to begin...

We are looking for someone who is good and working under his/her own initiative.

Needless to say, we require a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, kindness, and patience. All things we try to maintain ourselves.

We would like 5 hours a day, 5 days a week in exchange for accommodation in our home, all meals, and free wifi. Specifically, from mid-August to the end of September we are looking for someone who can take care of our two boys for a few hours each day and cook the family meal in the evening.

We live near Arvagh which is in Co. Cavan and is a beautiful lake district. Starting again to develop our garden as neglected over the last few years off due to illness. Would like to grow as much of our own food as possible so lots to do. Skills in carpentry would be really useful to complete a tree house as well as usual maintenance jobs to be done.We have a donkey, dog and cat as well as new rescue hens and hope to get more. Helpers need to be able to work with us in a friendly happy way, sharing the preparation and clean up after meals etc. There are 365 lakes of Cavan. It's a very scenic and underdeveloped part of Ireland and you have 2 days off each week to explore. East to get to, bus to Cavan or Longford and the local bus to Arvagh.

Who I am... guy, who left office job in my country and started new life closer to nature in Belcarra, next to Castlebar. I live in nearly hundred years old irish cottage, where I moved recently. Looking for help with some landworks and lots of gardening, perhaps some painting too. Someone who like DIY, or to cook and take care of house. And someone to have a bbq with after long day and hard work :)
In exchange for your 25-30 hours of work per week, you will have your own room, fiber net connection, all the meals of course, and once a week, I do like to go out for trip, you are welcome to join me, or I will drop you to the bus station if you prefere to go on your own, or drop you if the target of your interest is on my way or nearby.
Right now, I am looking for German Shepard puppy, perhaps you can help me training him in obediance, tracking, frisbee trics..

If you have any questions, ask.

Mick

Currently looking for a self-motivated person or couple to help us run our busy guesthouse and water sports centre. Ideally, we would like you to stay for a minimum of 6 weeks. Ideally, a couple as it can be lonely for one person on their own. We only have accommodation for one couple sharing a double bed or a single person.

We are 3 miles from the nearest village and 20 miles from the nearest large town. Public Transport isn't good so having your own car would be ideal otherwise Bikes are available.

We need help inside with cleaning rooms and cooking, outside with gardening, painting boats, and general maintenance.

Plenty of opportunities to fish, sail, windsurf, canoe, water-ski or wakeboard. We are an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) teaching centre running courses in powerboat handling etc.

Accommodation, which has its own entrance has a room with a small kitchen, a TV/DVD player, a double bed and an en suite bathroom. Meals are provided along with free wifi in excha... more inside
