We are located near the foothills of the Pyrenees in the region of Occitania (formerly Languedoc-Roussillon) in the department of Aude. We speak several languages including English, French and Spanish. We have no animals and cannot host pets.

We are looking for people in October who can help with our permaculture projects and gardening and simple restoration work, including painting, carpentry and stonework, as well as daily tasks. No special skills are required. You will have lots of free time to explore this very beautiful and interesting region of France.

We can presently offer a camping place for your tent in exchange for two hours of work per day.

You can spend your free time going on outings to nearby villages and scenic places as well as to local markets, vide-greniers and festivals. We are within walking distance of buses and trains that will take you to Carcassonne or Quillan for only one euro.

My name is Thierry, I am the owner of an old farm of the 19th century that I renovate since 2001. I opened 4 guest rooms in 2004. Furthermore, I am a former chef and I also make dinners for my guests on request.
I recently opened a large reception hall for events in an old barn, I occasionally receive artists, and organize weddings.
I would like to receive volunteers to help me renovate an old gate, help me finish the decoration of the bar, help me maintain the garden for weddings, and help me with wood for the winter.
The region of the Gorges of Aveyron is very interesting to visit. There are many castles and medieval villages.

This gite in the Ariege Pyrenees is looking for experieiencd help around the garden. Set in a stunning mountain valley location, but within easy reach of town with bars and restaurants. The gite has a swimming pool and the area is wonderful for climbing, hill walking/mountaineering, skiing and cycling (also the annual Tour de France cycle race regularly passes close by to here).

We have a gite/B&B located in the Ariege department of the French Pyrenees, close to the town of Tarascon sur Ariege, where there is a train station. Well positioned for rock climbing, walking, biking. We can generally hook you up with other climbers and we have mountain bikes you can borrow. We are happy to drop you off at places to help you make the most of your time off.
We like to think we are an easy going family. We have two children, aged 10 and 12. We would like you to work for 4 hours a day, two days on, one day off. Work will probably be in the mornings. We can be somewhat flexible with this if you have a particular project or activity you want to do.
The work is out on our land: helping develop our "no-dig" veggie patch, digging out brambles and nettles, strimming, landscaping, planting trees, sorting fences, putting in rustic steps, cutting grass. We welcome your ideas, and for the DIY capable there is plenty to go at. Its in a beautiful, peaceful sunny spot with a v... more inside
