The objectives of this place (At 100 km in south-west of Toulouse, 12 in south of Saint Gaudens and in the heart of the central Pyrenees) are welcome, exchange and sharing. All will be around a good table with people motivated to advance the project the guest-house "Bhola Om".
I had this project after 20 years of travel across the world where I wished to stop me to the Central French Pyrenees to receive when I had been very well received during my travels around the world.

- Enlarge the garden-orchard (for Culture herbs, berries ...) and possibly create an apiary (I hives, I must swarms)

Will follow in summer and autumm picking fruit and vegetables and their transformations (jams, preserves etc ...)

Hello... My name is Bobbi, My husband John and I run a busy building business here in Brittany, I am a plumbing and heating engineer and John is a roofer and stonemason. We are also restoring our 16th century cottage and large garden so would appreciate any help, ideally you'll be happy to muck in... in exchange for excellent food and wine... the odd bit of sailing or skiing... and evening entertainment at the local cooperative bar... live entertainment etc. Also many indulgent evenings with the French neighbours... We have 2 French rescue dogs who are adorable... and I'd like to add... I'm an excellent cook :-)
We have beautiful beaches within easy reach, gorgeous walks in every direction as well as what's known as the prettiest village in Brittany... Rochefort en Terre.

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been living in central Brittany now for 15 years and have recently taken on a long term project to renovate a secluded water mill in a beautiful tranquil spot with its own millpond and island.

I am constantly in need of help in a variety of areas and for the summer/autumn of 2015 I am hoping to find help with re-pointing stonework, draining and clearing the mill pond and clearing the very overgrown island.

I live just a mile away in another small renovated house and have a very large spare bedroom for helpers. For this reason, I would prefer either couples, two guys or two girls as the room will be shared.

I’m pretty flexible in terms of the hours working, but would prefer a minimum stay of a week and an average of 4 hours per day.

All meals will be provided and in the summer months the swimming pool at my house will be open. Broadband connection is also available.

I hope to see you soon.

Paul

This is a family organic farm where we grow grapes, apricot, olives, cherries and more. We also raise a ton of different animals around this 16th century beautiful farm. Lost between some isolated hills in the north of Provence, we always have many things rolling at the same time. You will be hosted in a very comfortable and cozy mobil home with all amenities needed.

We will have you doing different tasks according to seasons and needs for 6 hours a day, and will provide you with one meal per day.
You might be taught how to prune trees or vines, harvesting, taking care of animals, clearing brush, put homemade jam into jars, make bags of our linden, rosemary, thyme and more.
We sustain a nice family atmosphere and appreciate work well done; also passionate about getting to know you, meanwhile teaching you skills and real knowledge about organic products.

We live 30 minutes drive from Avignon. 20 minutes from Vaison-la-Romaine. Full of activities around, to go hiking, biking,... more inside

I am looking for someone who could help me with daily tasks: the dogs out, feed and monitor animals. Small residential work are also needed: a little gardening, cutting grass, watering the garden. You will be less than 10 minutes from the main city. Your home is not far from a village. You can have a bedroom and private bathroom. You can learn English in the family.

We are a British/Irish couple who have lived in France for some time, we are relaxed and like company, we do a lot of trad dance, and crosswords, Pete works as a CFD remotely. We have a lot to do and so would appreciate a convivial hand.
We live in a semi-derelict old mill needing TLC, various jobs to be done ranging from digging out a 15th century tunnel 80m long ( great escape revisited?) lime pointing on stonework, cleaning stone walls of old plaster, paddling mill basin to make waterproof, rubbing down beams painting helping in garden, cooking and cleaning.....anything you like the list is endless, but we'll be working with you!
Accommodation is very basic, tents welcome- possibility of room inside with mattresses, but little plaster on walls!( another job!) we have composting toilet only, but do have washing facilities, bath shower and washing machine.
Plus points- the mill is by a river- very nice for swimming,on hot days it s still cool and refreshing, beautiful area very v... more inside
