Needing two people to help with general cleaning, tidying and garden work of small house

Hello,
We're in need for a couple of HelpXers from around Tuesday the 15th of October (no earlier please) for at least one week.
Help is needed with cleaning inside and outside an empty house and tidying the gardens - would suit someone with practical and hands on skills/experiences and is a self starter.
Our expectations are 4 hours of work per day, 7 days a week. There might be the possibility of working full days and then have days in lieu. In return you'll be part of our family while you're here, you'll have your own huge bedroom with a double bed, couch, coffee table, bay windows and desk, shared bathroom, and lovely food every day.
We are Gerard, Patricia and have two of our three boys still living with us. Sam who' 19 and Sasha who's 16 and also a couple of boarders. There's also Poppy, our old and lovely golden retriever. We're a relaxed and easy going family, but quite busy at ... more inside

We, Finn (33) and Gemma (33) have a small lifestyle property and are looking for some help with gardening and general property maintenance. We have four children aged from 1 - 10 years old. We live close to the amazing Muriwai Beach which is a 30minute drive from Auckland City. Muriwai is a rugged black sand beach with great surfing, walking (Finn is a keen surfer and kite surfer himself). We are flexible on length of stay.

I live in Onetangi on Waiheke Island with my two children (18 and 9) and our dog. Tasks include gardening, landscaping, cleaning and painting. Must be strong and fit and experienced in these tasks. Fluent spoken English is a must. Some 'handyman' abilities would be great. Work is for four hours a day so if you're already working full-time this is not suitable. Not suitable for couples. Close to Onetangi beach (10-15 mins walk), bus stop, vineyards, golf course and cafes. Must like family life and be dog-friendly. Thanks!

Enjoy all that Waiheke Island has to offer on our conveniently central 9 acres of land. The bus stop is just a ten minute walk from our home allowing you to easily explore the village, gorgeous beaches and more. If a retreat from the busy world and a connection to nature is what you are seeking we have plenty of that on offer on our stunning, tranquil and spacious land that we share with plenty of native birds such as Tui, Kereru and Kaka.

We are a family of five that aspire to live a more simple life. We are spread out through the main house and a number of smaller dwellings, so among the hustle and bustle of family life there is also always opportunity for space. You will stay in either the small but cosy spare room in the main house, it has a queen size bed, a wardrobe for hanging your clothes and plenty of sun or the caravan nearby with a double bed, a bit more privacy, space and plenty of storage.

The farm has been spray free for 30 years but is not yet certified organi... more inside

This is a beautiful 5 hectare property in rural Rodney. We live 2km out of Matakana and the village has several restaurants, a cinema, shops and is close to the most beautiful beaches in NZ. We have built a new house and are in the process of creating a huge garden and vegetable garden. We are looking for willing helpers who will stay in their own accommodation in a delightful self contained small cottage with cooking facilities, an outdoor hot shower and a separate lavatory. We have 2 ponds and a stream running through the property.

Helpers ideally need to have their own transport to get to the village and the surrounding area.

Hi, we are a Kiwi/German family of four (with a 2 and a 6 year old) and with one dog, two cats and nine chickens, and a big backyard with lots of work.
We live one hour north of Auckland, in an attractive area with lots of great (surf)beaches and weekend markets and happenings nearby, at least in summer. For example, the popular Matakana farmers and vintage market, Goat Island marine reserve, Tawharanui Regional Park and great restaurants, cafés and Leigh Sawmill cafe for gigs. All this and much more within a 30 minute drive from our house. From here is a good town to start exploring the Far North of New Zealand, like Cape Reinga or the Bay of Islands.

We offer a recently renovated bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and own bathroom and three meals a day. We also got wifi so you can stay connected.

In exchange we expect at least 4 hours of work per night of stay and would like someone with a can-do attitude and some DIY skills to help us with some gardening work an... more inside

Hello!

We are Jess and Warren (both in our early 30's) and have a very smiley little daughter named Stevie who is 8 months old. We live in a beautiful historic hall in one of Auckland's most exciting central city suburbs, Ponsonby.

The hall is a diamond in the rough with enormous potential, however it needs a lot of love to restore it to its former glory and convert it into a home.

We are slowly working towards converting it and in the mean time we enjoy opening our home and hosting travellers, as we have both done extensive travel ourselves.

Here is where you come in! :)

We are currently looking for friendly, tidy and considerate people who are have a good attitude.

Couples welcome! Fluent English is essential.

The types of jobs we are looking for help with are:
- Spring cleaning
- minding our lovely 1 year old daughter for short periods (just a few hours at a time maximum)
- general helping around the house
- possibly some cooking if you are interest... more inside

Lifestyle block with a few horses, but mostly bush, in Bethells Valley, close to the beach. Very private, great community, quiet, lots of birds as it is on the edge of the Waitakere Ranges. We are 40 minutes from the city, and public transport is not great, so having a car is helpful. We have a small vegetable garden, orchards, an arena, swimming pool and do a lot of native tree propagation and planting. The house is spacious and we have a self-contained cabin in the orchard. We are a couple in our sixties, non-smokers, who both work, partly from home. It would be good to have some help with gardening, feeding 2 brood mares/foals and we enjoy having people to stay from other countries. There are many coastal and bush walks, so people with an interest in the outdoors really enjoy this place.
