We are a family with two small children. We leave in a beautiful area close to the sea, only 20 minutes to central Wellington by car or 30 by train. We have a nice bedroom that can accomodate one or a couple. We love exchanging experiences with people visiting New Zealand.

We would like to host someone that could give us a hand with some light housework, playing with kids, and some gardening. We offer a nice comfortable bedroom, wifi and good food in exchange for help. Hours can be flexible but in general we expect around four hours of work per day.

We live in a coastal area with many nature walks, which are well worth exploring. It's only ten-minute walk to Plimmerton, a seaside suburb, where the train station, several restaurants, cafes and takeaways and the convenience store are located. Pauatahanui, a small village, is nearby, which has a boutique cinema and two cafes. Porirua city is a ten-minute drive or three train stops away. A shopping mall and a separate shopping pre... more inside

We are looking for a helper to do childcare and a little housework.

We are a busy, slightly chaotic family living in the seaside village of Paekakariki. "We" is myself, Liz. I work part-time as an editor. Rebecca who works full-time as a policy analyst in Wellington, and our three kids: Fred (3), River (8) and Issie (10).

We have heaps of pets: ducks, chickens, a very nice dog, budgies, and cats. Oh, and guinea pigs. In addition the kids have lots of friends who drop in to play, and there is a general busyness to the house which is really nice.

We are not very tidy, and our house is pretty basic. You'll get your own sleepout which is quite close to the house but far enough away to offer you an escape.

I need help with looking after Fred, who is an easy going, curious, pretty snazzy little person. Your job would be to look after him two days a week while I work, and maybe sometimes for an hour on other days so I can go for a run, if you happen to be around. It would b... more inside

We are a family of four located in Raumati South on the beautiful Kapiti Coast, about an hour north of Wellington. The house is located on the bus route to the train, and there is a lovely cafe, shop and beach two minutes walk from the house. We have a bike you can use to get around during your stay.
Your accommodation is a separate sleepout -with shared bathroom and kitchen.
We would love to open our home to someone from a different culture, expose our two boys aged 4 and 18 months to another language and perspective on life. In return we need a mature helper to assist in our home for approximately 4 hours a day for about three weeks as i recover from an operation.
I will be home but not able to do any heavy lifting, hence the need for the help with the boys! You will receive board and meals and have plenty of free time to explore the area when not helping with daily activities.

Seeking a French Speaking Au Pair or Nanny

We are looking for French speaking Au Pair or Nanny from mid June 2016 to look after our two children Dominique (4yrs) and Elodie (1yr).

The core hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:45am to 4:15pm and on Wednesdays 8:00 – 10:30. We would like to contact the position for 40 hours with times outside the core hours mutually agreed. Both children will be at home on Tuesday and Thursdays, with only Elodie at home the other days of the week.

We live in Hataitai, walking distance to the city. If a live-in Au Pair option is agreed, a bedroom and bathroom will be made available that is located upstairs and is very private.

We are a bilingual household with one parent speaking French to the children and the other speaking English. We would like you to only speak French to the Children.

We have been a regular host for exchange students attending school, so we are used to hosting international visitors. I have a large amount of domestic gardening that needs to be done, mainly weeding and cutting back vegetation, if you are enjoying the stay then you could make the job a little bigger and remove a tree stump. Will offer accommodation and an evening meal.
We have a giant breed dog and a cat. The accommodation is a double room with its own ensuite. Public transport is handy and you can still get around the Wellington region easily.

We are a community minded household with 3 families living in Paekakariki on the beautiful Kapiti Coast.
Paekakariki is a 40minute drive north of wellington. From our place it is an easy walk to the train station if you would like to get a train into Wellington. We are a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 2 minute walk from Queen Charlotte Park.

We have spare bikes that can be borrowed.

If you have a tent you can pitch that. Or have a mattress on the floor in the lounge which can be treated like your bedroom privacy wise.

We have a large garden as we are trying to grow a lot of our own food. We need help in the garden and with household chores over the next few weeks.

We would ask for 2 hours work a day in exchange for accommodation. This is flexible, you can arrange your time as you want. Some contribution with food would be appreciated. We eat communally.

Children are welcome.
