Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc. You can travel via car or public transport to reach me. If needed I can pick up from Melbourne and drive you back there. I can also pick up from public transport nearby.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with spreading mulch, planting, weeding or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the jobs is important.

I have, in the past, taken ma... more inside

** Not looking for helpers at the moment, thanks ***

We have an opening for two people who enjoy working outside and like animals (dogs and horses). Farm experience is a bonus!

Our family of 4 (mum, dad and two daughters, 20 and 15) live on a quiet 8 acre property around 35 kilometres east of Melbourne.

We're a friendly family that enjoys getting to know new people and learning about different countries and cultures. We especially like to prepare meals together as it provides a great opportunity to chat and swap travelling stories (and recipes!). For the time you are with us, you are treated as a family member.

Work times are flexible (4 hours per day Mon-Fri plus help peparing the evening meal if you're around). In return we offer a comfortable bedroom, meals, wifi, use of a pool in summer and your own separate lounge/retreat. We're not near public transport, but shops, cafes, cinemas and trains etc are only a 10/15 minute drive away, and we're happy to drive y... more inside

I am what some may term a "Trendy Nanna" - some people refer to me as "Nifty Nanna" - anyway I am a Nanna to many - both blood and "adopted" - I am now retired and live in my own home which is far to big for me alone so I have opened it up for share accommodation - mostly for students from all over the world - I have many "new children" and have been lucky enough to visit some of them in their homelands and even to attend a couple of their weddings - I have eight of my own children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren - both blood and adopted and they are scattered world wide - I am now on nocturnal dialysis and have been trained so that I can carry out the procedure myself at home which I do 5 nights a week. I am an habitual magpie which seriously needs attending to and I absolutely love gardening. I am a born again Christian and would like my guests to attend church with me on Sunday morning and a local group meeting called URBS every second Tuesday evening,

Historic farmhouse high in the hills of the Otways overlooking the Southern Ocean. We are restoring the house, creating gardens and a hothouse and would love some help, especially from builders or carpenters, but any help is much appreciated. We have ocean to the south and national park to the north with glow worms and tree ferns. It is a very gorgeous place to spend some time. We are told our food is excellent and we take anyone staying with us to see things around the district if they don't have their own transport. We need practical and enthusiastic people who love to share their stories over a glass of wine and good food, so if that sounds like you we would love to hear from you.

** With the beautiful spring rain and sun, we are currently seeking help to clear the hazelnut grove, vegetable planting, and setting up garden beds **

Hi! We are a young family (Eddy, Phuong & our 2yr old son Vinh) in the Yarra Valley and are fortunate to call 54 acres of incredible rainforest and farmland our home. Phuong is a shiatsu practitioner, keen gardener and loves cooking. Eddy manages the farm/cottages and loves building from recycled goods. We are passionate about sustainable living, sense of community and promoting local produce. We love meeting new people and sharing skills and learning from others/different cultures.

Our property is located only 1.5 hours from Melbourne and is nestled in the mountain between the popular tourist towns Healesville and Warburton, which are know for the local arts/produce, nature life, and wineries. We manage several organic hazelnut and chestnuts groves, vegetable gardens, berry patches, and 3 self-contained rental cottages.
