A large home on a hectare of land, very quiet, only a 10 minute drive out of Gladstone. Always welcoming backpackers, most suitable for those with own transport, but not essential, as I can sometimes pick up backpackers from the bus or train, or airport, or street corner where their ride may have dropped them off. The house is a lovely big five bedroom two storey brick home with beds for up to 5 people at a time, in private bedrooms. Plenty of Wi-Fi available, a nice pool table, and a patio with bbq and beer fridge. I also have two very friendly cats and a dog. So feel free to come and spend a few days and relax, but please lend me a hand for a few hours, on the weekend.

I have to sell this beautiful house before I can retire (in about 12 months time) and need help with a few jobs that are just a bit much for me. At this point, the first one I need done involves a bit of digging. I've discovered termites on the side of the hill above the house which will require the digging of ... more inside

We live on a standard house block which is conveniently located on the northern side of Cairns.

Our home was built in the 1940s and is a classic Queensland timber home and therefore requires ongoing maintenance.

We require help with a variety of maintenance tasks, gardening, cleaning (removing mould from walls and ceilings). It is VERY hot and humid in Cairns in the wet season (NOW) so many of our helpx find it best to work early (6am to 10) or late in the afternoon (4 to 7pm). I think the work would mostly suit a couple at the moment.

My husband and I both work full time and hence we would love to have you come and help us maintain our home.

This position would suit non smokers only.

We require 21 hours per week of work from each person in exchange for accommodation, and meals. We are very flexible with how the 21 hours are completed across the week.

We prefer short term stays (a week to 10 days) as our accommodation is also listed on airbnb.

Helper/s wanted now.....
CLEANING, COOKING, GARDENING, PLAYING MUSIC, are all things that I appreciate assistance with.
Hi, I live in Bundaberg city 5 kilometers from the post office, and enjoy having travelers stay here in return for help around the house and yard, gardening, mowing, housekeeping/cleaning, general maintenance, etc. on my 1000 square meter block. If you have special skills tell me or if cooking is your thing then you would be especially welcome. I love all kinds of ethnic food and can be flexible as to work and leisure hours. Please message me via helpx in advance, so that I may read your completed, up to date, detailed profile. Generally, I like to have guests for two or three weeks. Solo or couples are very welcome. Unfortunately I cannot sign for 2nd year visa.

Accommodation is in spare bedroom, also includes washing, use of bicycles, and other perks in return for 2 hours per day help. Helpers are to provide/share food costs. My house is a “TV Free Zone”, bu... more inside

A lovely peaceful lifestyle block, close to the township but far enough away to be private which I am developing as a home for myself, my horses and my dogs.
I am a mature Swiss woman that loves horses, dogs, good music, healthy food and good company. I am fluent in German, French and Italian, little Spanish . I would love a like minded person to help me with seeding my newly ploughed paddocks and anything else we can think of to help me. I would also welcome a riding companion after all our chores are done.
I have free wifi but you must have Telstra to get a phone signal. Please contact me via email or phone 0401793260
Seperate sleeping area is in part of a large open shed with plenty of fresh air and space.
Cooktown is 4 hours away by road from the tropical city of Cairns. There are daily bus services and I will pick up from the depot.
Hope to see you soon.
