We have a 10 acre property outside Brisbane where we have large edible gardens, young fruit trees, herbs and sprawling gardens. We also have a number of Warre Bee Hives and Top Bar Hives. We are continually improving the soil so that our vegetables and herbs and bees are healthy. We use trace elements, bio dynamic cow manure and comfrey teas and worm castings to nourish the soil, We would like those who stay to share our interests in gardening, and to share our garden produce with us which includes being vegetarian and, a non smoker. A lot of maintenance is required. If you are a handyman that would be good too.

We are a family of 5 who have a house in close proximity to the famous Burleigh beach and trendy surrounds. We have 3 children under 3 and are looking for someone, preferably with Nanny experience to live in and help with day to day tasks.
We live in a 3 bed, 2 bath house with an extra room separate to the house, along with a vegetable garden and green house.
Our kids are well behaved and love the outdoors. We're a fun loving family but very relaxed and easy going. We're flexible and open to the length of stay for our au pair.
Our place is about 600m to Burleigh Beach and 500m to James St where there is a plethora of trendy cafe's, boutiques, bars and restaurants.

We live on a small property located only half an hour from the Brisbane CBD in a beautiful small country town called Samford. Samford Village has a supermarket, post office, gym, several takeaway outlets and restaurants along with a busy pub.

We have 2 small children Molly and Max, 2 dogs Ollie and Rowdy, 4 chooks, 6 Guniea Fowl and 2 horses Bobby and Dexter. There is plenty to see and do in and around Samford Village and we are a short drive to the local train station. Your accommodation is a fully furnished detached 1 bedroom house that also functions as a B and B throughout the year. We will also provide limited Wi Fi.

We are looking for 1 or 2 people to do some cleaning such as cleaning outside walls, helping with general housework, washing windows and organising storage areas. We will provide some food for lunch and dinner to cook at your own leisure.

We are available for guests after Mid January. Please send me an email if you have any questions.

Thanks

I live close to the town of Eumundi on the Sunshine Coast only 150kms north of Brisbane and 20mins from Noosa and pristine beaches.

My house is a lovely two story Queenslander style house. I need assistance with gardening and simple maintenance jobs around the house. I like to grow my own herbs and some vegetables and am establishing new raised garden beds for this.

Skills most useful around my property would be carpentry, house painting, pruning, weeding, propagating and general gardening in return for accommodation and meals.

Eumundi is know for its world famous markets and I am only 800m from where they happen two days a week. Check out www.eumundimarkets.com.au - this market is a must see and is on Wednesday and Saturday every week.

I have a spare room with a comfortable single bed so can only take one person.

I work full time and have Wednesday and Sunday off work so you would have to be prepared to work unsupervised at times. I would prefer the length of stay ... more inside

We cannot offer visa extension.

Looking for exchange of about 5 hours daily,(about 25 hrs weekly), for accommodation and food, we share evening meals only, but provide food for other meals. You would need to be fairly independent, while comfortable with some friendly interaction from us. We need help in the farm house with laying vinyl tiles, painting, cleaning, basic garden work etc. Please also expect to participate in cleaning up after yourself and helping with evening meal preparation and washing up.

We are couple living on a lifestyle farm. We have lots of bamboo, trees and mountains. Accommodation in a separate large older house, no mobile phone network, but internet is available via satellite at our house.

There is a lot of natural bushland, birds, wallabies. We believe it is a naturally spiritual place due to its location and solitude. Mark and I have interest in permaculture (but aren't practicing it), spirituality and have a broad range of interests besides the pr... more inside

The type of helpx required is general maintenance around the Retreat and help to develop walking tracks. I would expect 4 hours a day work.Generally 3 to 4 days work is required. I will transfer you to/from Brisbane to the Retreat. The Retreat is 130 hectares of forest and hills, set high in the McPherson mountain ranges. It is 110 km south west of Brisbane and can be reached only by a series of four wheel drive tracks taking you right into the heart of the World Heritage listed wilderness area. Situated at approximately 730m above sea level, it is surrounded by areas of wild and natural beauty: rainforest, eucalyptus forests and heath land and on the high ridges - ancient Antarctic Beech forests. To the east the Retreat is dominated by Mt Barney(1350m), and to the south and west the rolling peaks and ridges of the Focal Peak volcano caldera. Our Mission is to help people experience and comprehend the richness and subtlety of an authentic World Heritage listed Wilderness. We have de... more inside
