Hi!

We would love to have some visitors/helpers during the week (Monday-Friday) to clear brambles and big invasive weeds and help clear around NZ native trees in our gully/small stream. Also, we currently have house oiling and staining jobs, as well as planting new plants and seed sowing. We'd love to bring the beauty back and could do with some extra hands to help us.

Dave and I (Saskia) live on a 2 hectare property about 20 minutes drive from Tauranga or Mount Maunganui in a rural area with our 3 home-schooled children (Ana 14,Katja 13 and Charlie 10) and Yoyo the dog. Own transport would be best as we're rural, but we're happy to pick you up from town.

You'd have your own room and bathroom to use within our family home during the week and then you'd be free to travel/explore on the weekends when the house will booked out with AirbNb guests.

We'd like about 4 hours work a day in exchange for board and an evening meal (simple healthy food - mostly vegetarian, sugar-... more inside

Located in the middle of upmarket suburbia this original old farm house is surprisingly still secluded. My home is surrounded by trees and two classic old farm sheds including a 1918 board & batten shearers shed where I operate my dog grooming business. With a large property & old house there is often maintenance to do, both in the garden & on the house. You would work 4hrs a day per nights stay. The guest room is included in the photos. I live with one very sociable designer doodle. There is a bus stop near my gate and shops just 10 minutes walk away. I can pick you up from central by arrangement & depending on my time available.

Current work to do:
I donít need any helpers at the moment. I will update my profile when this changes.

Having travelled extensively in the past, I look forward to meeting travelers & making them feel at home.

NAUMAI, HAEREMAI. Welcome! We are an older couple living on ancestral land in the sunny Eastern Bay of Plenty and when we arenít visiting friends and family around the world, we are busy growing, harvesting and packing avocados and feijoas for local and export markets. This keeps us pretty busy with feijoa season lasting from late March through to early June, then pruning takes over until about the end of July. Then we get a bit of a break and head off orchard to visit our two beautiful grand children living in Australia and some travelling with Volunteer Service Abroad until avocado season begins around the end August until Xmas.

It is quite a big orchard and takes up a lot of time and energy, and as we get older it gets harder to keep up with our vege and flower gardens, all the other usual jobs and of course travel! So, here we are looking for help for up to 5 days a week for at least 6 hours a day in exchange for food and board in a private cottage with full internet acce... more inside

We are a non smoking family of 4; mum, dad and two boys ages 17 and 14.

We have two cats and two dogs. Our property is in rural Tauranga about 10km out of town. There's no public transport here so a car would be helpful if you want to go out. A bus to the city leaves from about 3km away. I will also be able to take you to town or to the Mount if our times suit.

We have an orchard and vegetable garden. We also have a flat concrete space to park a motorhome or van with a power hook up.

The main jobs here are: gardening, weeding, spreading mulch, chopping firewood, helping with the flowers over summer, pruning, light building work or housework.

We love delicious home cooking so you will be well nourished.

We are a fun loving and musical family, enjoying playing guitars, drums and ukuleles. We have a queen sized bed and can also put a mattress on the floor in the same room if you don't want to share. Please email us if you'd like to stay and help.

Situated on the northern side of Lake Rotorua, away from the Sulphur smells, our life style block with sheep and alpacas, is used for a Homestay/Bed and Breakfast.
We need help at present getting the yard cleaned up after winter and cleaning, getting ready for the busy season. Jobs may include garden and yard work, house work and cleaning, and maybe a little painting and maintenance. We ask for 3-5 hours of work a day (depending on what we are doing) in exchange for free accommodation, free Wi-Fi and meals. Workers must have own transport. Would prefer a couple.
Rotorua is the #1 tourist Centre for New Zealand so there is plenty of things to see and do in this area.

We are a family of five. As such, we could use some help with looking after the three girls (Alia 12, Elisa 9 and Mila 7) and the daily chores at the house.

At the moment we are looking for help on the farm. We are milking 400+ cows and if you are keen to learn new skills and don't mind the early start in the morning come and stay with us.
We also have a big beautiful flower garden that needs lots of attention. Also the vegetable garden needs a new fence.
I m planning to do a spring clean of the house as well.
So there is a lot to do.
We are happy for you to work more one day and then have the next day off.

We live close to the sea, in Maketu.
Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatane are all at our backyard.
You need to have your own transport.
One of us is Swiss and speaks Swiss German to the girls however will speak in English to you. The other is a born and bred Kiwi.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
