Our home is a majestic lifestyle property on the edge of Ballarat and the Creswick State forest.
We are a busy family of 5, and are always happy to have a traveller assist us with our wonderful garden and orchard.

We ask for 4 hours of help per day. Things to do depends on the season, but involves assisting with our vegetable garden, our general gardens and the orchard. We ask that you be self motivated and willing to pitch in with our family

With an abundance of wonderful birds and kangaroos along with our resident cat, Tim, there are lots to see and enjoy during your stay with us.

We can speak a little French, and like to have you as part of our family, sharing meals, conversation, even watching Netflix together while you stay with us.

WE have free Wifi, your own bedroom and bathroom, as well as recreational facilities (pool, tennis court) which you are welcome to use.

cheers

We are currently working on our garden during the busy spring time. There is always ... more inside

We're currently looking for 2-4 people to help get our camp looking beautiful for Summer. There is some hard manual labour but our place is amazing and beautiful so it will be worth it!!!

On weekends and school holidays we are a tourism business offering Treetop Adventures, Mountain Biking and much more. During school terms we are a School camp offering programs and activities for all sorts of groups around the Melbourne area, but mainly for school groups. We are in Kinglake West, about 1 hour from Melbourne. The air is fresh, the water is pure, the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly! And then there's the wildlife....A great place to base yourself to explore the Victorian High Country and the Yarra Valley.

But before we get to that, there are a few things that we were hoping HelpXers might lend a hand with. At the moment there's a lot to do, including cleaning, gardening, landscaping, painting and much more! In exchange for your efforts there will of course ... more inside

We are looking for someone to help out around our busy home in exchange for food and accommodation. We have 2 gorgeous boys aged 5 and 7 yrs, 2 small dogs, a pony, a horse and 5 ducks. We are renovating our house and working on the garden, so there is always something to do. We both run our own businesses so we may need you to look after the boys at times, or help with work in house or garden. If you have carpentry, painting or other home maintenance skills we may ask you to help with work on the house. If you are experienced and comfortable with horses, we may need assistance with feeding or working the horses. You will have your own bedroom with one queen sized bed, with a separate, shared bathroom and toilet. We live around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, 5 minutes drive from a public bus, in hilly, green South Gippsland. Experience working with young children is preferable, but if you have the right personality and skills, experience is not essential. Strictly NO SMOKERS. No drugs or ... more inside

Ri and Neil live in lovely Bacchus Marsh (a town 40 min from Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat). Ri is a ceramic artist and works in her home-based studio. Neil works at Melbourne University in research computing.

Over the past couple of years we have had a fabulous experience hosting French, Spanish and German couples who have helped us with all sorts of house things (e.g, painting, garden work, kiln fabrication), as well as being wonderful company.

We continue with our seemingly never-ending program of home improvements. So our current set of tasks are
- weeding and distributing mulch and other garden jobs
- distributing and compacting a gravel area (already made)
- replacing some garden bed bordering

So if you fancy some garden fun, please drop us a line.

We are looking for engaging and interested visitors who are willing to have a go. We prefer couples aged 25 and over who have some basic handy-person skills and some outdoors/gardening experience. ... more inside

We have a large holiday home and need help with the garden and some maintenance. It has got a bit out of hand. It is in the Mountains in a beautiful area. We are 1.5 hours from the ski fields and in summer we have swimming in the river. We are 99km from Melbourne. There is a bus service close by.
We would love to share it with you. If you could give us 4 hours help per day for full board. I think you would enjoy it. We have had help before and it has been very successful. We are not rigid with the working and have found in the past that a few days working then time for exploring or doing what you want seems to work well.
It Is summer at present - good for swimming in the river.
Trout fishing is famous in the beautiful river and surrounds.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Available till August. Itís beautiful. Our favourite time is Autumn.

We have a spray free vegie farm and run an organic delivery service starting at the end of the year, we are working with many of our local farmers to create this service for our two closest towns. We are currently setting up and constructing our land to achieve this, without the wildlife eating our produce as they have done in the past. Sustainability is our aim and passion, we are fun loving honest people. We would love to get some help with our day to day vegie farm tasks. If you have skills building that would be welcomed as there are plenty of building plans to meet. Web designer would also be appreciated to help me set up a web page for our business. Any Artists would also be welcomed to leave a personal creation as we intend to set up our land for a silent meditation retreat. There are plenty of koalas and kangaroos for you to see and the bird life is pretty awesome as well. We have a lovely space filled with things to keep you entertained in the down times. hello, I have a a small permaculture property in Koonwarra, near Inverloch, South Gippsland. I live in a bush environment near the coast. The wild life and bird life are superb. I have vegie gardens, about fifty fruit trees, a hot house, all needing some help. I also need carpentry help to renovate a food storage shed, wood splitting and house maintenance. Until recently, I was highly involved with farmers' markets as a stall holder, using as much of my own produce as possible, so my place became a little neglected. I follow organic principles. My owner built house is tiny but gorgeous. Your accommodation would be in a separate, very private and equally lovely bungalow with delightful views. The bathroom is shared but the access is easy and private. There is NBN internet access. Your own car would be invaluable but not essential. I would prefer older helpers. Excellent food is imperative to me. l love vegetarian cooking, and am able to accommodate any dietary requirements. In return... more inside

We are a family of three living on 1/2 an acre and surrounded by bushland, rainforest and wineries - it is an incredible area. We have an organic vegetable garden, a native garden, lots of fruit trees and now extending more vege gardens. We are a well traveled family, musical, environmentally sustainable and creative.

We are looking for 1 or 2 people to help with our 4 yr old son and basic gardening. We still have more garden beds to build, weeding, planting etc.

Our son is very friendly who loves to play outdoors. Work would include either playing with our son whilst I work from home or gardening (watering, weeding, planting, shoveling).

We eat organic plant-based and have a cat who is shy and just sleeps all day. There are lots of native animals in the area - you will see kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, parrots, wombats, echidnas, lyrebirds, galahs, cockatoos, horses, goats, larma etc

We live in a four bedroom house and you would have your own bedroom and share b... more inside
