SORRY ---NOT--- TAKING ANY HELPERS AT THE MOMENT!!

We have moved farms and the new place is fabulous ... although it is still very rough.

We will still be, baking bread, feeding horses and chickens, growing vegies, growing sprouts and micro greens. We are not milking and making cheese at this time but with enough help will get back into that was well.

We are establishing a new sustainable farm which has no mains power and limited running water. If you need comfort you better bring your own hahaha. ... otherwise be prepared to rough it a bit as the new accommodation will be more like camping.

At this new location priorities will be setting up and finishing more accommodation, and building/fixing the roads. Plans also include building tree houses, track development, a meditation hall, solar and/or hydraulic ram water pumps, a cob oven and clay stove. If you have any previous experience in carpentry, earth moving, concreting, painting, sign writing, electrical wiring, hor... more inside

Spring cleaning, handy person projects, plenty of work at our shabby chic but comfortable rambling home in its permaculture garden on the beautiful red soils of Lamb Island. The island is very quiet and a small community. We expect our helpers to work in the mornings, help cook the evening meal and fit in with our neighbours' early nights. Otherwise there is plenty of island to explore, and free travel between our group of four.

Looking for one or two people for minimum 2 nights but maximum 3 nights. Longer stays possible if we all get on, including Cam the rescue greyhound. We are experienced home stay carers, Airbnb hosts etc and can offer individual lessons in English, boat operation and driving for a price. Islands offer mostly natural beauties, curlews and mangroves. We have bikes you are welcome to use.

Plans for this year mostly planting out new areas, re-vegetating.

We have around 20 horses and are training them all though out the year for riding and for harness work, we would love for people with horse experience to come and stay with us and work with our lovely horses.
Our property is just on the edge of Ipswich, so only half an hour drive from Brisbane City, an hour to Gold Coast and 2 hours to Sunshine Coast. We have good wifi internet available and plenty of phone coverage, but public transport is not available here so you do need a vehicle to get out and about with or we can help with transport to the nearest train station.
We have an abundance of Wildlife in the nature around our home with Eagles, Kangaroos, Rosellas, Lizards, Quail at different times of the year and of course lots of other types of birds.
We would love you to come and help with our horses and general property maintenance, feeding horses, mowing, fencing etc. We have an airconditioned twin bedroom available, so this may suit a couple or friends traveling together. ... more inside

Our property is situated in the hinterland above the Gold Coast. Our view is outstanding. We overlook the Hinze Dam which is the Gold Coast water supply and in the back drop are mountains and a section of the Gold Coast city and the ocean behind.

We have 3 border collie dogs and 4 wonderful laying chickens. The majority of our property is untouched. We are in a rain forest belt and approx 450 meters above sea level. So we are cool in the winter and fabulous weather in the summer as we get wonderful sea breezes up here to keep the temperature very pleasant.
Our soil is red volcanic so whatever we plant just grows.

My husband Greg and I live here with our daughter Rachael and grandson Julian. We are still renovating our lovely old home inside and out.EG Helping with plaster work, painting, plus plus.
We have a large vegetable garden and all of these area's require help.
We are on tank water so if you require two showers a day you would have to go for a dip in our dam ... more inside

Current vacancy until 26 April and then from mid=may to late June also vacant

We need animal friendly (preferably rabies vaccinated but not compulsory; bloody government, stupid and pointless, regulations with regard to Flying Foxes) volunteers willing to pitch in for just about anything required to maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the wildlife enclosures.

Our needs are for general handyperson - or anyone who wants to help with `casual` labour plus the animal care......
The rainforest is a difficult environment, it is for the adventurous. Please – we only ask for resilient people who are ‘into’ the environment and wildlife. It does require commitment, compassion and a sense-of-humour – EVERY DAY!
PS: Please like cleaning (sweeping and washing down floors) – our animals need care.

From our recent experience with helpers, most say they should have organised to stay longer than 7-10 days
