We are Geoff and Helen,

We live out of the lovely country town Laura in South Australia.

We provide a welcoming home, board or independent living. You can choose whether you want accommodation and food or only accommodation.

We would like to have one or two person staying with us for at least two weeks up to three months. Working hour would be 20 hours per week for accommodation and food. Please enjoy a stay at our property in the Adelaide Hills about 40 km (1 hr by bus) from Adelaide. Help us with gardening, light property maintenance, and some house hold work. In return you can freely roam on our beautiful land (dog Mello loves to join) and/or just relax for example hanging out in/around house and pool. We are retired couple, originally from Europe, but already living 20 years in Australia. We take pride in gourmet cooking preferable with the veggies from our own garden. We are also active musicians (modest level) and love if you join in for some jamming.

A little farm tucked away in the hills on the eastern border of the beautiful Barossa Valley.
With its small herd of unique Icelandic horses, the flock of geese, the two resident goats, the chickens, the two dogs and the cat, it is a sweet little rural holding. Help is needed in the gardens, caring for the horses and a bit of building maintenance also. Four hours of help a day would be a dream come true. In return, there is a large private room in the main farm house with a private adjoining study/lounge. The bathroom is shared with the family, (which at the moment is just me!)
A bed and breakfast is also run from the property in an old stone cottage just next to the main house.
PS: the food will be good-promise!

My property includes a 5h vineyard and a 10h natural bush reserve. From the top of the reserve, which has been set aside for native animals, birds and flora, there are fabulous views of the valley to photograph. For those more energetic enjoy walking or cycling the Riesling Trail which passes through my property - a mere 50m from our backdoor.
Right in the heart of the Clare Valley wine region I am only 5-10 minutes’ drive to Clare and some of Australia’s top wineries including Pikes, Mitchell’s, Kilikanoon, Crabtree, Annie’s Lane, Knappsteins and Taylors.
I am looking for a person or couple who are interested in helping me establish the garden around the house. I've made a good start, but due to work commitments I'm no longer able to spend the time it requires.
Depending on the time of year there is work in the vineyard such as prunning, lifting wires, and picking grapes. I am in the process of rejuvenating and improving the vineyard with the aim of being totally organic. My ... more inside

We are a young family of four living in the Adelaide Hills on a 12 acre apple orchard in Lenswood.
We have just recently purchased this farm and need some assistance to rejuvenate the property as it has been let go in the last 10 years.
We need help with gardening, building maintenance, painting and general upkeep. The work will be varied and be both inside and outside work. No experience is necessary but just a willingness to work.
Your accommodation will be in a separate house (pictured) with basic amenities. Work is expected for 3-4 hours a day and all meals provided. Actual timing of hours can be negotiated, with an option to work a full day in order to have a full day off.

Wonoka Station in the Central Flinders Ranges is located North of Hawker nestled amongst the hills of the Flinders Ranges with the Elder Ranges to the north east, the Wide Range to the east, Wonoka Bluff to the south and Mern Mora Hill to the north west.

Ancient and dramatic panoramas, peaceful tree-lined gorges, rocky water holes, and a seasonal wealth of wildlife create a sense of expanse unique to this semi-arid zone. The Central Flinders Ranges is one of Australia's most popular regions visited located 400km north of Adelaide City. There is a twice weekly bus service to our nearest township where we are happy to collect helpers.
