We live in a house of tree flores and beautiful garden. A very peaceful, warm and beautiful place. 10 minutes by foot from station, centre town and lake of LOCARNO (CH)

We live at the first floor: me, my husband and our two little children (age 3 and 5).
The upper floor, a holiday apartment, we rent for guests.

Hi HelpXers!

* You are welcome to spend time in Switzerland for some help in exchange starting December 2016 *
We are a couple with a house under renovation in a village near Solothurn (between Bern and Basel).
Ideally we are looking for anybody with DIY, gardening, building, painting, and general handy work skills. That said, we are flexible, so, if you're hard working, easy going and fancy spending some time in Switzerland, we'd love to hear from you.
You are welcome to stay short term, but we’ll be more than happy to have people stay for longer in exchange for some help with the house (mainly) and the garden.
The house has 3 empty apartments, thus there’ll be plenty of space for everyone and vegetarian food will also be provided.
We’ll help you with travel information in the area and show you around in spare time.

We are a small family with our son who is 12 months old. I am studying and my boyfriend is still in training. Therefore we are looking for help with babysitting.

We are living very idyllically situated at countryside on a hill called "Freinberg" in Austria but very close to the city of Passau (Germany). So it is in Austria but really not far from Germany/Passau. :-) And Passau is the "bavarian Venice" :-)

We welcome family friendly reliable nice people who can take care of Elario. In your spare time I can ride you to Passau or we can do something together. :-)
I would be happy to find someone who can teach Elario in spanish. :)

Regarding the helping hours:
We do this almost always flexible. I've never looked at the clock and I do not think our helpers have made that too. I think they had have always fun doing it. It's really not hard work. :-) We feel more like a big family who making thinks together. :-) Of course you can also do things alone. F.ex. drive away to Salzbur... more inside

Dear HelpXer;

We`re a 3heads Family – Ennio (9), Alex (psychologist; 44 real age :-) and Robert (social worker and outdoor coach; 45). We have neither got a big farm nor a very special need – except: As we try to stay openminded to the world ourselves we also try to impart to our son how much fun speaking and understanding a foreign language can be! He is not convinced jet! Therefore we decided to teach him and sometimes other kids English at home. Every Monday is our English-Monday but we miss a communicative sparkling native. A lot! But not only on mondays.
(If you feel like working in our jungle garden as well or playing with a 9year old, we will not keep you from it.(-;)
The area in which we live in is called Styria, which claims to be the green heart of Austria!
Our garden is the very greenest/whitest (in winter time) part of it.
The surrounding area is covered by forests and it's great for walks, hiking, climbing and biking. If you want to try to snowboard it´s a 20 min... more inside

We are located above the lake of Zug, south from Zurich. We have fallow deers, chickens, sheep, cats and dogs and a wild herbal garden. There are Tipis, Yourts, Caravans for holiday guest and a self-service cafe with home made teas, liqueurs, jams, syrup.. There is always something to create, to get fixed or to help.
Helpers could stay in caravans or your own tents. There are 3 family generations living on the farm.
The food will be mixed, if you are strictly vegetarian or vegan you may need to cook your own food but there is space for that.
Please contact "Sabu" for more information see our website link above.
