Hello, We are a small family who have just moved onto a 15 acre property. and have a two bedroom self contained cottage available in exchange for 2 hours daily work around the property.

The work will mainly be repairing existing fences, adding a white horse sighter wire to the boundary fences and putting in some electric fences, reasonably strenuous work. I also need an old shed pulled down and some yards built for horses. Im looking for friendly people, who would like to explore the Blue Mountains region and have their own quiet base to return to. Experience with horses is not required. If you wish you could work a six hour day and then have two work free days to bushwalk, climb, etc.

Reasonable use of electricity will be included and probably WIFI (still to be connected). We are 10 minutes from the Blue Mountains and access to all the national Parks. It will be cold in winter, there is a pot belly stove for heating. This is a self catering position.

There are horses on... more inside

We operate a small post office in Southern NSW - 3 hours by car from Melbourne. I am Australian, my wife is Ethiopian and we met in Dubai so we have a diverse background and very open to foreign guests after many years working in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and USA.

The local industry is mainly farming and timber as well as tourism to the adjacent Barmah forest on the Murray/Edward Rivers which is noted for its fishing & bird watching opportunities.

Mathoura is small with the post office and adjoining residence located on the main street and within easy walking distance to all amenities - shops, pub, licenced club, etc.

The town has a bus connection to Deniliquin, Echuca and Melbourne and is situated between Deniliquin and Echuca. Echuca is based on the Murray River and is one of the most popular inland tourist destinations in Australia. It would be easy spend weekends in Melbourne or Echuca as it is so close and the post office is not open so we will be anxious to sp... more inside

we are a french family living on the south coast of new south wales.
We are looking for 1 helper to join us for at least 3 - 4 weeks
It will be mainly helping with the baby as a nanny (1 year old) and the house

Large house with garden and bush.

300km south of Sydney or 200km from Canberra. 10 min from beaches (Moruya Heads).
We are running a French bakery in moruya.

we have 4 kids (1 year old, 8, 11 and 15 years old).

We are expecting from an helper to mix with the family regarding every day activities (as dressing and cleaning table after meal, keep his bedroom and bathroom clean and tidy) … these are not part of the “hours to do per day”!

We also like when there are exchanges between helper and family (through sport, music or games …)

Regarding hours to do …
we ask for 5 hours per day looking after baby, keeping house clean.

Hello Travellers!
We are a couple aged 40 and have 3 young girls. We live on the border of the Subtropical Nightcap National Park on a community that shares all water and land. We have a happy home in a funky house and have solar power and drink rain and spring water. There are amazing waterfalls and beautiful swimming holes with bushwalking and bike riding and animal spotting. Kookaburras, goannas, black cockatoos, wallabies and honeyeaters every day! Shower in spring water or take a bath near the pond.
We are 45 mins to Byron Bay and 35 mins to Nimbin.
We are looking to create more paddocks and grazing space for our house cow and for future horse. We also run our own business and you will be asked to help out here also.
There is lantana and weeds to clear, grass seeds to spread, gardens and garden spaces to create, Fencing and housework also.
We will offer food and accommodation to up to 2 helpers. We have a spare room with a queen bed and a single bed which is located nea... more inside

Accommodation and meals &/or financial reward for general gardening/housework help. Guys preferred. Must be gay-friendly. My home is very comfortable, very quiet surrounded by forested reserves . I'm a very friendly guy. You will have total privacy including own bedroom and bathroom. Non-smokers only. 10 mins drive to town, so a car would be handy but happy to drive if I'm free. 15 mins walk to nearest beach...limited bus service to town but hitch-hiking is a common way of getting around. Mostly need help with garden maintenance. Not looking for 'party animals'...just travellers looking to experience the beauty of this region.

Our property is in the Byron Bay hinterland. We have an established rainforest adjacent to heritage Subtropical rainforest. There are lots of gardens - ornamental and organic, as well as organic citrus and other trees including native and tropical food trees. Wildlife is abundant, from kookaburras to koalas. We are in the process of getting our property ready for sale for health reasons and need help - both in the house as well as the garden. We have hosted many wwoofs over the years.Jobs are varied, including weeding, mulching, general clean up, getting stuff ready for garage sales etc. Please email, ring on landline leaving your number or text to mobile if you are interested. We prefer robust people over 23 who are positive and friendly. Own transport is an advantage as there is no public transport here. Property is gorgeous and photo/video will be uploaded shortly. More than 2 can stay if people are prepared to camp in our large tent. Tony and Lynne
