Our home is situated on the edge of the Hunua Ranges, close to the Hunua Falls and extensive walking tracks. We are a couple with a cat, dog and lots of horses.

We are a small equestrian center & drystock farm. We will provide accommodation in our home and fresh healthy food (we have a small organic garden), also a swimming pool and river for your enjoyment. There is wifi and 2degrees phone coverage (Spark & Vodafone are patchy)

We are looking for persons in 2018 that are self motivated to assist with setting up for equestrian activities, weed eating, general farm duties, weeding, painting, cleaning or if you have a skill in a particular area then we can probably find a suitable task.

Being confident around horses would be a bonus but not essential (Riding does not count as part of the work load).

Having a car would be beneficial as we are not close to public transport, although we can easily take you to the bus/train.

We are looking for help over the next few months to clear out some of our house, which is currently still full of boxes from moving earlier this year. We are also needing help with a project to develop classes and workshops for parents who are performance and movement practitioners. Both of these are projects that require a lot of work with children and creation of organic nourishing food. There will also be general domestic tasks to be done daily. We have a weekly schedule of activities around Auckland includes going to Homeschooling/Unschooling meetups, gardening at a Permaculture garden and going for regular walks around and up the volcanoes of Auckland.

We are into meditation, Chinese medicine, Qigong, dance, music, gardenin... more inside

We are a gay couple who breed alpacas on a 17-acre lifestyle block in Kumeu, 30 minutes drive NW from central Auckland. We also share our home with our cat Mindy and Tango, our golden Labrador. If you donít discriminate, don't smoke and are able to work hard, you may learn new skills, gain knowledge of alpacas, how their fleece becomes chemical-free natural yarn, and how we try to live by green principles.

For helpers willing to learn all they can about alpacas and how to care for them we offer a cozy bed and good food in a smoke-free home. You also need to bring a sense of humour - a necessary part of your survival kit here! ... more inside

We live on Auckland's stunning West Coast "Piha Beach" with spectacular views. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach.

We are looking for a mature single/ or couple with your own vehicle ( there is no public transport to piha) , who are not afraid of a little work and love the beach life, birds and beautiful views. We need help with general maintenance, mainly weeding the garden, weed eating, sweeping leaves, odd jobs and cleaning the house.

If you are creative or handy with tools and like cooking even better! We have a small house so we need you to be exceptionally tidy. It is not a large property so it may only be a few hours a day in exchange for accommodation. We do not always need help, so try your luck, the timing may be right.

We have a cute caravan as accommodation.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Lovely Rural Setting:
Can you help with:
Weeding
Wood splitting
General garden tidy

In return for comfortable accomodation, a fire and full kitchen use!

We are situated approximately 30 minutes drive from Central Auckland in the North West. We are a very busy homeschool family which also runs an international development company. Our family consists of three children - 11,9,5 years, two dogs, three cats, 2 pigs, three goats, and three sheep (all pets).

Our property is predominately flower gardens at the moment however we are transitioning to a more edible garden as we can. We have a big piece of bush with lots of native plants that requires a tidy up and getting rid of weeds so that the native flora and fauna can come through. We also require some small building jobs done like fencing and building sheds for animals.

Because we are busy, we require people who are independent and can think for themselves or take initiative. While we love meeting and greeting new... more inside
