Hi there
My 5 year old son and I live in a beautiful coastal suburb of West Auckland. My son goes to kindergarten during the week and I work, while setting up my own business and I would really appreciate some help around my house with tidying, cleaning and the laundry. And if you enjoy gardening, I will be so grateful for any help around the garden.
We have a 3 bedroom house, one of the bedrooms with a king single bed is available to you and we will share the bathroom, kitchen and lounge areas.
I'm looking for a friendly female, that enjoys children and a tidy home.
We are 15km from the nearest shop and bus stop in Titirangi, the closest town with a mall & lots of shops & a bus with train station is New Lynn. Here in Huia is a cafe minutes walk from our house. The beach is 2 minutes walk down the road, further west from here are a couple of campsites and some caves to explore and more beaches, you'll need a car to get to these though :-) Lots of forest walks to do in this area... more inside

We have a lifestyle block in Parau, with some fruit trees and 12 chickens. We need a lot of help with gardening and general maintenance (mostly outside) as we both work fulltime. We love having international guests and offer good food and nice accommodation in exchange for help!
We both work from home a lot of the time so are often there to help you and guide in the work, or just be company.

We have a lovely 20 acre property and a beautiful contemporary home that we need some help with from the 9th October. We have a swimming pool (still a bit cool!) and a big garden. If you like working outside and you have skills in carpentry, landscaping or gardening then you are ideal. If you like to cook even better! We are starting a new project and need helpers to work alongside us for a week or two to help with, building a new vegetable garden, doing some planting and weeding, paddock work and general tidying up for spring. We are friendly people and have travelled a lot, we just got back from volunteering in Tanzania for 2 months which is why we have so much to do on our property!

We have sheep, 2 horses, 2 dogs and a cat!

We are 20 minutes south east of Auckland International Airport close to a lovely rural village, called Clevedon, not far from beaches, a farmers market, vineyards and bush walks. it is 35 km to Auckland central.

There is no public transport bu... more inside

We are a family with two kids aged 13 and 11. We run our family's beef farm and also have a farmstay on the west coast.

We are into everything horsey, out doors and farm.
We are looking for a confident horse rider to help with the ponies/horses.
Some daily house duties.

If you had lessons once a week 10 years ago this probably isn't for you.

Lots of riding to be had for the right person/people.

See our farm stay website link above for pictures of the farm.

We have had awesome helpx people so far and look forward to sharing our home with someone new.

Suit one or two people.
Would also suit couples/friends where one rides and the other helps on the farm or in the house.

We live on a sundrenched acre of land with sweeping views of native bush and the harbour. Super close to Titirangi village with its cafes and bars, supermarket and bus stops, but tucked into the hillside overlooking the rest of the world, you could easily be a million miles from civilisation.
Great location to head north or south for travelling and in your spare time there are amazing black sand surf beach close by Piha & Bethells beach. Fantastic opportunity to explore the Waitakere Ranges - with plenty of bush walks and waterfalls and spectacular scenery very close by.

4mins drive from Titirangi Village (Cafe, supermarket, restaurants etc)

35minute drive to Auckland City. Limited public transport - but bus stop at the end of the road, train station in New Lynn. Connections from New Lynn to central Auckland city & airport etc.

Around 10-15mins to the mall (Lynn mall) cinemas etc.

We're after someone/someones to help with restoring the native bush at the fringes of the... more inside

Our Community
Kaukapakapa is a small rural community 45mins NW of Auckland. We live in a lovely cul de sac and are very close to our neighbors on the street, often having street BBQ's and get togethers.

Our home
I live in a traditional old farm house built in the late 1800's (which is considerably old for New Zealand!). It is a large house with country style kitchen, old, detailed high ceilings and beautiful views down to NZ native wetlands and the river.

Your room will be a large upstairs room away from the main family rooms with views and windows on three sides.

We are largely self-sufficient in terms of fruit and vegetables and use organic practices for growing our food. The property is only small (3 acres) but there is always maintenance to be done, such as mulching, weeding etc.

About us
Our family consists of myself and my two children aged 6 and 9yo. My father also stays here during the weekends. We also have two cats, a bottle fed lamb, 2 horses and 8 chi... more inside
