A scenic property located by the Wairere Falls and Kaimai Ranges. We are on 10 acres with a stream boundary that we've been planting in native trees, and graze dairy cattle and horses, one miniature, really cute!
We're an easy-going couple in a mainly vegetarian,(i do bbq for visitors) non-smoking household who enjoy hosting visitors from other countries and would like a help exchange of up to 3 days.
Haymaking this week. Help to pick up and stack hay Urgently needed. It's an annual job. We love the result and it's winter food for cattle and horses!
Well, all the native planting is done but we must weed grass from around them, the vegetable garden needs work.
Swim in the stream when works done!
Looking forward to meeting you!

We are a small life style block that was originally part of a larger forestry block that we are fortunate to still have access to. We have two treking horses, a gentle giant bull mastiff dog, a few sheep and 4 kids (15,13,10,7) We love fishing, hunting, gardening and I am currently finishing my Permaculture Design Course. At the moment we are building an outdoor kitchen, dining area with (hopefully) a hot pool using recycled materials and would love to hear from anyone with experience or interest in this kind of work! We have a large family home to share with you (unfortunately not self contained ...........but hopefully one day we will!) We are approx 15 min to Hobbiton, 12min from Cambridge and approx 60min from Rotorua :-)

hey you, yes you!

We want to meet you. We are a German-kiwi Christian couple with a toddler and a newborn living the sweet life of once a day dairy farmers in Waihi/Waikato. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and heaps off cows in all sort of stages in their life.

We are surrounded by almost 200ha bush and Forrest which is ideal for hiking, exploring (old mining tunnels and batteries in our "backyard" too) and 4wd and motor biking. We live away from the township, where it
Is nice and quiet. Not far away you will find the hauraki trail ride (ideal for bicycle and walking), karangahake gorge and gold mining town Waihi. Coromandel is only 1.5h away from us (by car).

We do love our meat (home killed mostly) but if you cook we are happy to try something new, hey we are happy not having to cook in the first place.

What we are looking for: first you have to be non smoker - no negotiating with this one.

It's easier for you to have your own transport as we do live in the middle of nowhe... more inside

Lord of the rings fans come stay in middle earth!! My busy family lives on a lifestyle block in the busy town of Matamata we are located centrally for the beautiful beach of mount maunganui and the city of Hamilton and rotorua we are 8 minutes from Lord of the Rings middle earth. (Hobbiton). A car would be helpful to get around as we wouldn't be able to provide a lot of transport with 4 kids aged between 11 and 3. But we are a 30min walk from the bus station if you want to make that work for you.
We are looking for a female helper or married couple for a short term stay between 2-7 days approximately 4hrs a day, hours can be flexible to suit, we would like help with spring cleaning and general house keeping duties and maintenance. Also maybe some cooking of meals (my children are lactose and gluten free so being a accomplished cook would be preferred but not essential). Plus some outside jobs from gardening to looking after feeding animals, waterblasting the house, cleaning win... more inside
