Hi, we have a lovely life style property with sport horses grazing and chickens. Home is large with plenty of room which we share with our two terrier dogs. Very close to Omanawa and McLaren Falls and in the summer you can walk through the bush track to the river (private swimming hole, see photo) for a swim, it's just beautiful. I'm gluten free but there is normal food as well. We are 20 minutes out of Tauranga so a car is a must but it certainly is tranquil up here. Thanks Mark and Raewyn

We live n 2 1/2 acres only a five minute drive from Papamoa beach. While we are not certified organic we do try to avoid the use of any poisons and rely where possible on natural products. We are semi retired with three adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. We have 9 glorious goats and we milk and make cheese for our own use. We have chooks and a pet duck who is 19yo as well as a rescued donkey. We share our home with 3 dogs and 5 cats. We also do picture framing from a small studio on our property. We do not smoke and would not want any smoking on our property.
We would love someone with positive energy and a genuine regard for all creatures to help out and join in our busy life around our small farmlet. We would like you to work 4 to 5 hours 5 days a week
The help we would appreciate is weeding in the garden and trimming edges, blowing and vacuuming leaves etc
Pulling weeds in the goats pasture, hand spreading fertiliser, trimming hedges.
Helping with handling... more inside

We are a little earth loving family who share a small off grid farm with another family.

We have a spare beautiful yurt with an awesome superking bed and self contained kitchenette and bathroom.

We have cows, goats, ducks and chickens and are at the base of Karangahake Mountain- our back gate opens on to conservation land, many waterfalls and bush walks.

We have a lovely swimming hole on our land too- it is a beautiful place to stay!

We will provide two meals a day for 4 hours of work. (We can talk more about this - whether you'd rather breakfast + lunch or breakfast + dinner, and breakfast will be more like us provide you with what you like to eat for breakfast! so you can wake up at leisure.)

People will need to:
Can give different projects a crack (gardening/ childcare/ cleaning/ farm projects)
Love sustainable living

Hi I work 3 days a week and need someone to either sleep over with my 6 year old or get him to and from school on these days. There will be small amount of housework and cooking on these days too. You need to have a drivers licence and I have a car you can use for your stay. Helping only the 3 days means you have plenty of time to explore the Bay of plenty.
Now booking for end of June.

2500m lifestyle block. Private with lake views, surrounded by lifestyle blocks and farms. The property is within walking distance to the Hamurana Springs, reserve and golf course. Quiet and private. There is a cat and a dog who are friendly.

There is a guest bedroom with a queen bed for use, so would suit a single person, or couple or friends willing to share. Plenty of work available doing a variety of things, like gardening, landscaping, painting, cleaning etc.

We are a rural lifestyle block only 6 km out of Whakatane. Although I choose to be organic where I can, particularly when it comes to growing veggies, we have used the occasional chemical on rogue brambles. We have a few animals; a cow, a goat, a few chickens and a cat, two dogs and a rat called Matilda! Single helpers or couples are welcome, although we only have a single room available so if there are are two people staying, it may be a little cramped. We need help with jobs in the garden, chopping wood, digging, painting, weeding and planting, pruning, harvesting, but some help in and around the house would also be great - cooking and cleaning. We have a large house on the hill with a river running at the end of our drive, (and a great swimming hole). We have 2 children; Izzy, 13 and Ned, 12. Accommodation is a single room with shared bathroom and toilet. Short term is better at the moment. A car would be an advantage, though not essential.
