We are looking for travellers who are passionate about helping us convert our caravan into a sustainable tiny home using recycled timber. Simple but stylish; A home made with love and designed by our first HelpX friend, Sophie. We can't wait to see it built!

Above and beyond that we are always in need of help in and around the house with all the chores that get left in our full lives of activities, sport, school and work.

We live on a gorgeous little bush block with lovely big gumtrees and a small veggie garden. We have two dogs, two chooks, lots of visiting parrots and an unknown number of goldfish. Kangaroos in the bush.

On our doorstep there's awesome surf, bush walks, and river canoeing. You'll love it!

My 9yo and I love nature, wildlife and our pets, hanging out with friends, snowboarding, surfing, campfires, playing guitar, board games and cards. Waking up to the sound of birds and sunshine, smiles, happy vibes, doing good and living a wholesome simple life.

We are a family on large property in the Dandenong Ranges, about an hour from Melbourne CBD. We have a large amount of outdoor work to complete, including tree removal, building fences, path/step construction and other general maintenance around the property. We are not a farm but we are wishing to become a sustainable property.
We are looking for 1 or 2 people who are happy to work outdoors for approximately 4-5 hours per day in exchange for all meals and board. Experience working outdoors, and/or setting up sustainable living properties would be great.
it is currently my husband, myself and our son who live at the property. We all work/study/school so are not all here all of the time but someone is generally home to oversee the work and be on hand to assist.

Do you want to visit Wilson's Promontory National Park? - this farm is perfect place to stay! We need someone fit, strong and not afraid to work hard with us on our olive farm in South Gippsland to help harvest our olives and turn them into extra virgin olive oil in our oil making mill. We need someone for a minimum of three weeks starting the beginning of June. There may also be bottling the oil, wood cutting, gardening and other farm jobs. We serve you lunch and dinner with us (we also provide food for breakfast and snacks) and there is very nice accommodation in our farm house. There is a small cash reward for good work. We are not far from the Waratah Bay beach (although it is a bit too cold to swim in June) and Wilson's Promontory National Park. We are 2.5 hours on bus from Melbourne. We welcome visitors from anywhere and are always happy to help you to practice English if necessary!

This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000.

We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mudbrick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or hunted meat. We eat shared meals, most meals are vegetarian.

Type of jobs: farm and garden work, combined with learning, and share of household tasks, including food preparation from farm ingredients. Depending on your skills and interests and our needs, tasks can include caring for our vegetable gardens, orchard, goats and chickens, chee... more inside

"Glendara" is about 4 and a half hours midway between Melbourne and Adelaide and is situated on the Glenelg River with rolling hills, red gums and lots of birdlife and kangaroos.

We are sheep graziers with a little bit of cropping each year, mainly to renovate pasture. We also have a 2 bedroom cottage on our property that we run as a B&B.

Helpx workers with or without farming experience are very welcome at our property, just come with a keen attitude and a willingness to learn.

It is Autumn now with a beautiful green outlook across the farm and surrounding hills, thanks to recent well needed rain.

There are always a variety of jobs Helpx workers would be able to assist with....helping Geoff with sheep work, preparing paddocks for sowing crops, general maintenance around the farm or helping Cherryl keep up in the garden or with some general housekeeping.

We love meeting people and have a big home that allows for helpers to have their own bedroom and bathroom. If you en... more inside
