We live in a rural setting on the edge of Warrnambool (3.5 hrs by train from Melbourne) with its beautiful coastline and sea.
Warrnambool has just been voted Australia’s most livable city and we live 20 mins from a pretty fishing village which is also a favourite tourist destination.
We also have a holiday rental house in Warrnambool very close to the beach/ocean, Visitor Information Centre and Flagstaff Hill.
South West Victoria is very interesting and diverse with lots to see & do including the Great Ocean Road. We can also take you to see kangaroos, koalas, emus in a natural setting in the area. 3 of our Helpxers have found a koala in our garden - it happens sometimes.

Our property has lovely views to the north and consists of a large garden with fruit trees, vegetable garden, home, outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and thatched Balinese bungalow which is used as a reflexology clinic and we have a very special 13 year old West Highland dog who loves attention.

We are looking for some help from 19 November. On the property there are friendly animals: one horse and 18 chickens. We have a berry patch which is in need of pruning. Our vegetable patch has lots to offer in terms of fresh food and work to do to maintain.

The work we are doing at the moment is: Building a grape arbour and bluestone fireplace.

We have accommodation in the house. We enjoy good fresh food and socialising. Our property is 5km from town which has a train station to Melbourne and we are 8km from Hanging Rock. We have bicycles available for you to ride.

We will provide food and rooms for 4 hours of work 5 days per week. We can pick you up from the train station so you don't need a car.

Non-smokers only please.

Also we are moving toward zero waste so please be mindful of this.

We have great neighbours close by and our animals love new friends!

We welcome a call to find out more.

We have vacancies for volunteers during the summer. Our volunteers work for twenty hours a week in exchange for board and keep. Sometimes we have some paid work so we may be able to help with second year visas after a suitable trial period.
Helpers are expected to do their share of household chores such as cleaning, washing up,cooking.Absolutely no smokers please. We eat very well here and usually bake pizza and bread in one of our several wood fired ovens at least once a week.Vegetarians are welcome.
