Our property is located in dairy farming country on a hillside that overlooks Wilson's Promontory National Park. The closest village is Fish Creek - a 10 minute car ride. We can meet you at the bus in Fish Creek. We have a large garden and require help with landscaping and gardening as well as house maintenance. If you have a car, we are 15 minutes drive from fabulous beaches and hiking country. We sometimes have a separate loft available, above the carport and removed from the main house for occasional visitor accommodation giving visitors more privacy. Rosemary is a Dutch speaker with an understanding of French so welcomes Dutch and French helpers in particular although all nationalities welcome but smokers discouraged. Roger is a retired academic (mathematician) and Rosemary is a retired university exchange program manager. We value meeting enthusiastic, energetic helpers who like to share their stories and experience around the dinner table. The best helpers for us are those who... more inside

We need two people travelling together who want to visit us either for about a week starting on either 24th February or 11th March.

We are a busy and active couple in our 60s, with Ziggy, our small/medium dog.

We need people who are prepared to do a mix of things including cleaning windows and the outside of the house, doing some weeding and general tidying in the garden, and looking after Ziggy when we are out. The work may also require some practical skills, including the use of power tools.

The arrangement is to work for about 4 hours a day but we can be flexible with how this happens. In exchange, we will provide food (self-serve breakfast & lunch), shared cooking of evening meals, or food of your choice to cook if we are out.

We think it will be most suitable for two people travelling together and you will have your own comfortable room.

You will also have access to a bathroom, a lounge room with TV, and unlimited WiFi. We have a tennis court, a billiard/snooker/... more inside

Hi Friends, we are looking for helpers!! Here’s a bit about our family and farm.......

Shane and I live on a large rural property one hour from Melbourne with our two young children (thirteen and nine). Our property is situated in a beautiful environment, however needs ongoing care to realize it's full potential.

Most of our property is native bush, home to the diverse wildlife here (wallabies, wombats, deer and parrots).

With busy lives we require ongoing help to maintain our property. Such tasks include gardening, mowing, building, fencing and cleaning. We are also currently renovating our house so there are some house projects that require attention.

Our home is quite small so our guests reside in the Outhouse. Guests say they love staying amongst the trees and enjoy having their own private space, set up with running water, electricity, kitchen and partial bathroom. There is also a double mattress and single bed. There is wifi and TV in your accomodation. Updated ... more inside

hello, I have a a small permaculture property in Koonwarra, near Inverloch, South Gippsland. I live in a bush environment near the coast. The wild life and bird life are superb. I have vegie gardens, about fifty fruit trees, a hot house, all needing some help. I also need carpentry help to renovate a food storage shed, wood splitting and house maintenance. Until recently, I was highly involved with farmers' markets as a stall holder, using as much of my own produce as possible, so my place became a little neglected. I follow organic principles. My owner built house is tiny but gorgeous. Your accommodation would be in a separate, very private and equally lovely bungalow with delightful views. The bathroom is shared but the access is easy and private. There is NBN internet access. Your own car would be invaluable but not essential. I would prefer older helpers. Excellent food is imperative to me. l love vegetarian cooking, and am able to accommodate any dietary requirements. In return... more inside

We have 2 daughters doing French so would love some French travellers for practice with conversational French. Other than that would like help with our garden and general jobs as needed.

Having your own car would also be an advantage as we live 6 km from the train station. Daughters often travel by the station though so you will easily hitch a ride/get someone to drop you off.

We are unable to host at the moment. Very sorry but on vacation

We live near beautiful walking and hiking tracks. Huge plus if you're a runner (running family).

Don't hesitate to message and we will sort something out!
