We are looking for some help from 25 February. On the property there are friendly animals: one horse, 18 chickens and two sheep. We have a big berry patch which is in full fruit and needs to be picked to make raspberry and blackberry jam and ice cream. Our vegetable patch has lots to offer in terms of fresh food and work to do to maintain.

The work we are doing at the moment is: Building a grape arbour and bluestone fireplace.

We have accommodation in the house. We enjoy good fresh food and socialising. Our property is 5km from town which has a train station to Melbourne and we are 8km from Hanging Rock. We have bicycles available for you to ride.

We will provide food and rooms for 5 hours of work 5 days per week. We can pick you up from the train station so you don't need a car.

Non-smokers only please.

Also we are moving toward zero waste so please be mindful of this.

We have great neighbours close by and our animals love new friends!

At the moment we need help around the house, spring cleaning and gardening jobs.

Metung is a small fishing village / tourist town situated in the heart of the Gippsland Lakes / Riviera district, approx 4hrs from Melbourne. In close vicinity to rivers, lakes and the Ninety Mile Beach, the area offers lots of water sports activities as well as access to bike and walking, dolphins in Lake King, and kangaroos on the grassy woodlands.

We live with our 3 children on a 10 acre tranquil property with 2 dogs, chooks, vege garden and fruit trees.

We have a couple of options in regard to accommodation that we can discuss upon application. Maximum 2 people.

We ask for 3 solid hours/day for each day that we provide your lodging and food. Flexibility is an option e.g. you can work 6hrs one day and have another off.

Our home is within walking distance of the Metung village (pub, restaurants / cafes, general store, gift shops). A bus service is available from Swan Reach (5 mins from ... more inside

We live on a property in the Dandenong Ranges, which is 1 hour East of Melbourne city centre.

The house is close to public transport. The bus stop is a one minute walk from our house.

We are a short distance to: Yarra Valley wineries, Dandenong Ranges National Park, cafes, galleries, artisan bakeries, beaches, ski resorts, country, museums, hiking and mountain biking trails, public gardens. There is also a yoga studio at the bottom of our street which has several classes a week.

We love to have Helpers stay from all cultures and help us maintain and beautify our house and garden.
We speak French at home to our daughter sometimes and encourage fellow French speakers.

We enjoy sometimes getting time to show our guests around the local areas or taking them collecting pure spring water at nearby Mount Donna Buang.

Each Helper works for 4+ hours per day for accommodation and food.
We cook most of the time for everyone but we expect the Helpers to also share the cooki... more inside

Hello, I am currently seeking people to stay for a week or two to tidy up our place a bit. Work includes digging garden beds, weeding, cutting grass, spreading mulch, spring cleaning the house and cooking meals if you're able as it's always appreciated. I am interested in permaculture and organic growing, and just making a nice garden to live in.

My family consists of me and my eight year old daughter (Elouise), we also have two kittens and at the moment my 20 year old son is sometimes here.

We live in Bruthen which lies between the foothills of the great dividing range. Bruthen is somewhat of a gateway to forests, national parks and beaches to the east, lakes systems to the south and mountains (including snow-fields) to the north. It is possible to do a day-trip to go skiing as Hotham is less than 2 hours drive away. Bruthen is situated alongside an old railway line which now functions as a walking track, it's also great to ride on if you're into biking. Bruthen is also a b... more inside
