Hi, we have a house in Machans beach just 10 mins out of town from Cairns. But feels so far away. its a beach village where you can ride your bike around the coast and bushlands. its in a delta with the rivers either side and just the start to all the northern beaches up here in the tropics. Iím looking for a carpenter and someone who has experience with houses and boats and houseboats. A handy person or two with carpentry to help rebuild and renovate. we love to share meals and experience other culture foods. if you like growing food and have a love for tropical fruits. we would love to have people stay who love cooking and going on adventures here in the tropics. We live one street from The beach. If you are good with little children and like small Moodle dogs. We have a comfortable room and we would like to hear from you.

Kia Ora,

We are a family of 5 living in Cooktown.

We are originally from New Zealand and have spent 5 years sailing with our 3 kids. We've been living in Cooktown for 5 years now and run a veterinary clinic in town. We also do a lot of community animal health work all over Cape York.

We're looking for people to help around the house with laundry, cleaning, watching the kids (11,13 and 16 years old) when we are away on one of our community clinic work trips. That's not all the time. Most of the time we are in Cooktown running the local vet clinic.

We believe that everyone has his or her own set of talents and we'd love to explore yours! In the past we have had writers, teachers, engineers, adventurers and people from all walks of life contributing their own unique set of skills. Skills that in addition to helping out about the house and boat can also make a difference developing our "Healthy Dog Healthy Community" program for our wonderful Cape York indigenous commu... more inside

We would appreciate some helpers on our certified organic vegetable farm, planting, picking and packing veggies. Could pick you up from Brisbane any day that suits you if interested.

We supply wholesalers in Brisbane, local restaurants and organic shops.

We're just over an hour southwest off Brisbane and just over an hour from Gold Coast.

Accommodation is in a renovated worker's cottage. It's clean, tidy and cozy. Fresh linen is supplied.

All meals are shared with us in our home. Eat fresh veggies from our farm at every meal;) Ange is a great cook and can cater for all dietary needs.

We are fair and reasonable people and have good breaks at morning tea, lunch time. We usually work 4-6 hrs a day:) All meals will be shared with us in our home.

Please text or call with any further questions.

Cheers
Ange and Steve

Hi, helper there is a room available now, you can come and enjoy the real Aussie life style in Cairns

I run a business and work long hours during the week. But I like to get away on the weekend for hiking, going to swimming holes, camping, fishing, boating, snorkeling, diving on the reef and enjoying our beautiful country.

I am looking for someone to do some house/shed cleaning, washing, and cooking dinner.
5 days a week, around 4-5 hours per day. If you finish your duties, you can relax the rest of the day or go out to explore Cairns. The house is close to the city, shopping centers and public transport.

I will supply a room, food, free wifi and some good memorable Aussie experiences.
