PROJECT
Our work is towards becoming a sustainable project funded by opening our fields to campers during the Summer season. We grow our own vegetables which we share with campers and volunteers. Our animals are mostly rescue, and our land is now almost organic. We practice recycling.

We have a variety of jobs here and previous skills and experience are not necessary, however if any one has any experience with horses, gardening, building, plumbing or electrics, then they are always valuable to us.

We are also looking for someone throughout the summer who can help us with some admin. If anyone is interested in helping with answering emails and taking campsite bookings, that would be wonderful. We do a lot ourselves, but it would be great to have some help.

THE LOCATION
We are located 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of North Cornwall and only 10 minutes walk from the seaside town of Bude. We are an eco camp site and small holding. We have rescue horses and po... more inside

A bustling place with lots going on! Two to four of us live here, and there are volunteers who live locally. We run a residential centre for courses and learning holidays, there`s a weekly community cafe, and a Yoga studio. We have 3 acres of garden, outbuildings and paddocks. Hens, ducks, Kune kune pigs, and a few sheep. Vegetables grown on raised beds and in a polytunnel. Would appreciate volunteers with building maintenance skills to help mend leaky roofs, make gates etc! Work is in the vegetable garden, early morning animal feeding, and mucking out. We often need help baking for our cafe. Help is also with general catering, cleaning, and other domestic duties. Always lots of washing up.

We can take helpers for short or long visits (if they are the right person/people!) We also have working weekends about once a month. We invite potential volunteers to look at our website before applying, and tell us why they have chosen us in particular.

We're looking for somebody who can tend the garden and help with the current projects which include turning our lower patio into a Japanese theme garden, developing our woodland with a few relaxation areas, including making a swing and a yoga/rest platform. Garden work includes planting out, weeding and general maintenance, and we use permaculture, organics and biodynamics which provide fantastic results. We're really experimental in what we grow and how we grow it so it would be a great experience for somebody into that sort of thing. And if you can help around the house that would be even better. I am happy to train you and it's good fun!

Andrew and Yolande live in Howle Hill, which is 3 miles south of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. Our property is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is close to the Forest of Dean, Monmouthshire (Wales) and Gloucestershire.

Yolande and Andrew are well seasoned travellers who have helpxed around the world. We have a low-impact, sust... more inside

Accommodation and English language training if required in our lowly but characterful three hundred year old fen edge cottage. Its scruffy and often a bit dirtyent as I'm decluttering days. But summer is still here andent its beautiful if you like animals and countryside and medieval cities and scruffy old cottages.

Its exactly halfway along the road from Cambridge to Newmarket, the capital of horseracing. Its 7 miles from each centre. That takes about 15 mins in flowing traffic and considerably more in rush hour.
Urgently in need of helpers at the mom Please come

There is a bus into town(s) from the corner and there is also the park and ride service which is cheaper and quicker than the regular bus which is nearby so we can always run you to or from there in our car.

We are a couple in our mid sixties. I'm a semi-retired freelance English language teacher, teacher trainer and ex-author of resource books for teachers. I'm thinking of moving to Spain or France with the ... more inside

Hello there!

*now recruiting for a receptionist and immediate housekeeping starts in April*

We are looking for helpers to join our hostel family for the 2019 summer season, living by the beach in St Ives, Cornwall,

Cohort is a 60 bed backpackers that caters for different guests; from international backpackers, independent travelers, families, walkers and surfers to seasonal workers. (people who work a summer season in St Ives).

As such, we're a great place to meet new people or practice languages and we're within walking distance of four beaches, including Porthmeor surfing beach.

St Ives is a beautiful busy seaside town (google it) located in remote west Cornwall; we're surrounded by cliffs, beaches, stunning scenery and some amazing attractions.

Nearby we have St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre (both must-sees), Lands End and tin mines.

Although busy in summer, the town is something of a peaceful haven during the early and later parts of the season and... more inside

Beautiful old cottage and 'gardens' in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall, an area of outstanding natural beauty - between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, one mile (on foot) to the River Tamar, half an hour to the south coast and one hour to the north coast (by car).

Sue (Mum) and Grace (daughter) live here, Marcus lives up the hill, and various friends and family visit and join in. We are in the third year of a new plan for our land. Sue has been here for 35 years, raised a family, grown food, flowers and herbs, worked as a healing therapist and run courses and ceremony.

Much of the land is sloping, with limited sunlight hours but last year we got a south-facing flat piece of land! Our aim is to develop a new community project to grow more food, keep more chickens, plant a new orchard and develop the healing and community side with an emphasis on reconnecting with nature for health.

Whats needed is enthusiasm and flexibility for a wide variety of tasks and extra strength and physic... more inside
