Hello, this hostel has 20 spaces for volunteer working travelers.

We hope your time can bring value in the hostel visitor experiences and in you visiting Liverpool.

We offer a min 4 weeks because it takes time to ensure each member who joins can manage a shift on their own. If you learn fast and work shifts on your own after 3-4 days of training. Its simple and very logical; check in, check out, breakfast, cleaning, baggage storage, where to go in Liverpool etc.

The work is 4X shifts a week, working 4 hours per shift and each shift is mixed of computer updates of bookings, responding to emails, breakfast setup, cleaning, checking in the guest, etc.

*** Also please make sure you have the proper visa to volunteer here in UK check with your countries rules and regulations / UK Border Agency. You can use this website to easily find out if you need a VISA or not https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa ***

Thanks
Best Regards,
Daren.

We do not need any help for the forseeable future. Thank you.

We are looking for someone to help with a variety of tasks mostly with cleaning and housework mostly inside of the house. Inside would generally be cleaning around the house and possibly some easy ironing (sheets and pillow cases etc.) Depending on the time outside would include sweeping paths and possibly cleaning downstairs windows. No cooking is required as I like to cook myself. See also more jobs below.
We enjoy being members of helpx and would like someone preferably over the age of 25 to come and stay in a relaxed household and enjoy the south coast for short stays at various times to help me with some cleaning of the house and windows and sometimes to help Tim weeding and cutting down in the garden. We are a retired couple in our sixties (still young and fit). Jean was teacher in a primary school and then was head of an Autistic unit and Tim taught art and ceramics. Our house is quite big and close to the sea ... more inside

I breed horses for racing and currently have 8 on the farm though some will go to the sales this autumn as the farm is up for sale . My former partner Liz Buckler has moved on. Previously we were registered in her name and had a lot of happy helpex, many of whom still keep in touch . Helping with the horse enterprise is the main thing including feeding ,and ground maintenance. Currently all horses are outside though later some may be stabled and need mucking out . I have a local helper for horse management . Duties may also include domestic maintenance and helping prepare the house and garden for sale. As you can see from picture 3, children grandchildren and friends often visit . Social life can be quite busy at times and there is always plenty to do , see and enjoy, especially if you like the countryside.

I shall need help in the Spring/Summer 2019 with my very gentle 15 hh horse, 14hh New Forest pony and general field, garden and house maintenance. (Sadly my beautiful dog has died recently but I expect to have another young rescue dog by then.) I live in a small village in The New Forest National Park, 3 miles outside the sailing/harbour town of Lymington. The open forest is right outside my front gate with native ponies, donkeys and cattle wandering free. It is a very beautiful area. There are lovely walks from my house in the National Park or down to the sea, and a bicycle to use.

Helpers will have their own bedroom and bathroom, and a living room with telly shared with me. 3 good meals a day will be provided. Vegetarian food is no problem.

I need a male or female used to looking after horses, though they will probably not be required to ride, able to do hedging and outdoor work in good weather! I would usually appreciate 4 - 5 hours work in the morning and 1 hour la... more inside
