We are looking for a enthusiastic volunteer to help us in our permaculture kitchen garden, and our cafe, the kitchen garden has a full time experienced gardener, but she could always do with a little extra help a couple of hours a day. The cafe has a couple of full time staff, a lovely Spanish girl, who started here as a volunteer 2 years ago and is now employed, in the summer months they always need someone to help over the busy lunchtime period. The food is home-made with produce from the kitchen garden, if you are interested in cooking there is also the opportunity to get involved cooking. Next to the cafe is our home store selling vintage & lifestyle products, oppportunies to help out in the shop too. You would have your own room in a house next to our kitchen garden, all the veg you can eat and fresh eggs from our chickens. The house is fairly basic, but itís warm, light with lovely views, a garden and good WiFi, we are in the process of building a new one. Previous exper... more inside

Located in scenic West Wales, close to Cardigan town and picturesque walks, beaches and woods, we are a low-impact, permaculture-based family of three, including a 4yr old girl, who have recently gained planning permission under the Welsh One Planet Development scheme.

We have pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, bees to manage as well as large amount of landscaping and building work to do. Lots of experience possible in animal husbandry, fruit and veg growing, land management and low-impact, natural building.

We are able to offer a fitted out caravan for accommodation and home-grown meals in exchange for 25 hours-a-week work. No experience required but a willingness to pitch in and do is a must.

Thanks for looking :)

PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME OF THE PHOTOS ARE UPSIDE DOWN AND THERE IS NO WAY TO CHANGE THIS. Even tried rotating the photos before uploading but always end up upside down whichever way they are uploaded??? Anyway hope you can mange by turning screen around. Photo of the farm in Wales is fine for some reason. It is the third photo and is not actually where you will be staying but it is possible to visit sometimes. The other photos are of the allotment and double room in Liverpool where you will be staying.

Double room available in cute three bedroom house. We have a large allotment near to the house where we grow organic vegetables. We also have a beautiful and historic mountain farm in the Snowdonia National Park which we visit occassionally now, it is a great place for a retreat to get away from everything and soak up the fresh air. We grow organic fruit for our own consumption but do not currently have any animals. We also have 23 acres of woodland to manage. It is not viable to... more inside

We are a busy family of 5, living the perfect life in Somerset close to Glastonbury (perfect except that we have too much to do). We have a large garden in need of lots of work. We are needing at least two people to help tidy and prepare the garden for spring, to help manage a woodland where all of the undergrowth needs clearing and do various other outdoor activities such as build a new shed. Meals will be provided and accommodation is in a room attached to our house but with a separate outside entrance.

Hi. Thanks for looking at our profile.

We are currently looking for help working round the garden and with log processing (with a machine)and stacking.

This is what we are about in a nutshell:

We are about nourishing mind, body & soil. Our lodge is a secluded, easily accessible guest house and retreat space offering bed and breakfast and group space with stunning views of the Scottish countryside in the Kingdom of Fife. It is a place where guests can just "be".

You will be supporting us in making the above guest experience possible.

We value authenticity, integrity, honesty and self-awareness.

We have put together this outline as a result of our hosting experience so far. We find that it helps to clarify what is on offer at Cherry Tree Lodge and what is expected of someone who comes to support what we offer. Expectations have a greater chance of being met for both parties which can lead to a more all-round, fulfilling experience.

We are looking for people who ... more inside

Hello,

We offer a comfortable room and good food in exchange for the congenial company of reliable, cheerful dog-lovers who are willing to undertake a range of tasks such as gardening, cleaning etc

Our 2 daughters after time spent travelling (and Helpxing) are now at university (one of them in Japan) so our household usually consists of two people and a large dog (friendly, bouncy and always pleased to meet new people) I often have other dogs to stay too, so you need to be relaxed and happy around dogs.

We also have a pet rabbit.

We are situated in the countryside mid way between Cambridge and Newmarket, five minutes walk from the bus stop. The beautiful city of Cambridge is eight miles away and from there it is only an hour by train to London (50 minutes on a fast train)

We offer a room with large double bed/twin beds (can be made up either way depending on preference) and en suite toilet, shower and wash basin. Bedding and towels are provided. There is a... more inside

We are a family with three children aged 10, 4 and almost 2 year old. We live in a small cottage within an intentional community (with approx 40 other adults and children) based in a beautiful old estate with mansion house, gardens and woodlands.
Ollie is a school counsellor and mindfulness teacher and Annie is a medical herbalist and massage therapist. We home educate our children, however Lumi goes to a forest school 2 days a week.
We love living in community and enjoy gardening, singing, meditation and yoga. Life here is often busy and can be noisy and chaotic! However, we do have regular meals and bedtimes. We would love help with cleaning, childcare and a bit of gardening and odd jobs around the house. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing the beautiful land we live on. We are mostly vegetarian and enjoy cooking organic healthy wholefood meals using fresh vegetables from the garden.
There is no public transport to the local town, however it is abo... more inside
