My name is Teresa and I own and run Treseissyllt Farm on the Pembrokeshire coast.
I grew up in Wales and after university, lived and worked in London for a number of years. During that time I travelled extensively to many parts of the world.
I returned to Wales to renovate the house and farm twelve years ago.

THE AREA
The farm is situated on the coast in the amazing PEMBROKESHIRE NATIONAL PARK between Fishguard and the small city of St. Davids with its ancient cathedral.
There is direct access to the beach, cliffs and the world-famous coastal path.

There are lots of local activities which include hiking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, music, photography, castles and arts and crafts to name but a few.

THE FARM
Treseissyllt is a small (20 hectares/50 acres) traditional farm with a flock of Welsh pedigree sheep, 3 horses and a foal.

CAMPSITE.
We have a "nearly wild" campsite in a large field with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and the ocean. ... more inside

***** HELP NEEDED NOW : ) *****

I will be needing a helper from the 25th June onwards. I think this would be perfect for a couple or single person looking to stay in Glasgow over the summer. Main duties will be cleaning my holiday let apartments.
Feel free to contact me and let me know your skills or if you have any questions.

I am well travelled and have HelpX'd several times before. I am keen to share travel tales and meet fellow Helpers. Would be more than happy to give advice on things to do in Glasgow and Scotland.

Would be looking for Helpers to work a few hours a day for accomodation in one of my holiday let apartments which is located in a great area of Glasgow, close to the city centre.

Look forward to hearing from you : )

Hi! I'm Natta! I work as a model & lap dancer but am lucky enough to live off the grid with my husband & mad collie pup where we also run a small woodland based business.

We work the forest to source timber from which we produce firewood, charcoal, and speciality pieces all of which we sell locally. We're a bit alternative, and although we run a woodland based business which we love and have worked tremendously hard for, we're also both free spirited creative types and enjoy much that life can offer.

I live with bipolar 1, schizophrenia & hyper-sexuality which in the past has had huge detrimental effects on my life. We've recently completed our self built off grid timber and straw bale house, and are now finding this has also provided new working opportunities as well as providing a lifestyle which has greatly improved my mental health. Living here, med free, growing food, working the woods, sourcing our own power & water, ditching my smartphone, all has helped me find a new... more inside

Hi, we are a couple running an exciting & interesting not-for-profit project in Whitby, North Yorkshire. We promote future health; social, cultural, physical & economic health. Our organisation includes a health shop in Whitby, North Yorkshire. We need some help in our health shop and are looking for a single person or couple who can help us with staffing and running the shop & organising events in the shop. We would like helpers to cover the shop for 4 full days per week, in return for accommodation and provision of food which the helpers would usually cook for themselves, though we would cook meals sometimes for us all to share. We live in a village on the North Yorkshire Moors called Goathland, which is a beautiful rural location. The accommodation is a cabin close to the garden which has a main kitchen/dining/sitting area with wood burning stove (fuel supplied), separate bedroom and bathroom with use of shared washing machine in adjacent utility room. The photos below show the mai... more inside

I'm Sheila and I'm looking for help to look after my dogs while I recover from a major tendon reconstruction on my foot. I can manage most other things I need, but I won't be able to walk the dogs. It would also be great to get help with my allotment. The operation is in July and I will need 3 months rehab. I would welcome volunteers for the whole time or for shorter periods too.

I have 2 dogs aged 5 and 2. I usually walk them on the beach and there is the coast path and other great footpaths around, but I haven't been able to take them on the footpaths since I injured my foot.

The allotment is very close to the house, and has several perennial plants, but it is a bit overgrown.

Accommodation is in one double bedroom, in a 3 bedroom house very close to the sea in a small but busy village. There is good internet available for volunteers and mobile signal in the house and village. The food is vegan. I can accept one person or a couple. I would prefer a non smoker.

We can b... more inside

We are, at the moment (from June 2019) looking for a couple/small group/very self sufficient individual to help with tidying and wood clearing on our smallholding. The cabin on our woodland also needs some attention which might require staying overnight there. Would suit someone/people who want peace and quiet, are able to work on their own and take initiative.

We are a 2 hectare smallholding with 2 holiday cottages (one of which would be the accommodation). We sometimes keep animals for our own consumption, grow fruit and vegetables and enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the world.

We are looking for help with work both inside and out, depending on skills and inclination (and the weather) including cleaning and painting in the holiday cottages, Handyman-type maintenance, wood clearing and chopping, strimming, weeding/picking vegetables and helping out around the smallholding and garden. We would expect 4-5 hours work a day, with a day off a week, you need to be fai... more inside
