Hi.

We are a small family run orchard growing Tahitian limes. We are currently looking for 2-3 people to assist in general orchard work which includes orchard upkeep and picking and packing. We have two accommodation units on the property and would provide food and general living provisions in return for the work. Some weeks work will be very minimal, and time would be available to see the sights around the district and Townsville City which is 30 minutes away by car. Phone signal and internet reception is available from the property. We are a multi cultural family, one a Papua New Guinean, and the other a New Zealander, and have our PNG nephew staying with us on the property whilst he undertakes study at James Cook Uni in town. We welcome persons of any gender, age and nationality.

2nd year visa applicable

My friend and I have a property in the beautiful Kuranda area of FNQ. The property is 1/4 acre mostly gardens and fruit trees. We have built a temporary structure fit with kitchen and bathroom. Your room is the old shed very cute and rustic, with a double bed.
Across the road from us is the Barron River and bush land, its gorgeous and only a 5 min walk to a swimming spot.
We need help with gardening, keeping the place clean and light building.
We offer a 2 hour a day work load in turn for free accommodation, normally we communally cook, but I can't say that could happen every night so we decided to work out meals together.

This is a Wildlife Property set in a forest looking out to sea and the famous Noosa Heads National Park. We are 3 mature gay men sharing our space with local wildlife, aviaries of birds, many fish ponds, a small dog and some chickens.
Apart from our interest in Orchids and Frangipani Trees we have an organic orchard and vegetable garden. Most of the property is forest.
We are surrounded by many walking trails and close to a lake suitable for fishing and kayaking. Our local vibrant village Cooroy is 7km away as is the train to Brisbane. We have various farmers markets close by as well as fabulous beaches.
Accommodation is either in the main house (own room looking out to sea and the swimming pool) or in a 'shed' which allows you total privacy.
Our home is a fusion of east and west plus indoors outdoors.
Help would mainly be outdoors in the garden or building an aviary or making improvements to the "shed"

Hi,

I'm looking for people who can start ASAP.

****I can help with second year visa****

I take the male calves that the dairy farms don't want so I am looking for some people to help feed the calves in the morning and afternoon as well as cooking meals in the evening. It is only me and occasionally my grandson that live here so there aren't lots of people to feed!
I also have horses on the farm and occasionally would need help, so experience with horses would be helpful but not necessary (However being able to cook is).It is roughly 3 hours work for board and food, there is also a car available for you to use and there are some opportunities for some local part time work, spraying weeds or babysitting however not guaranteed.

The farm is roughly half way between Nanango and Kingaroy, nearby there is many wineries, both towns have a local pool and library. Kingaroy is the larger of the two towns; where there is Woolworths, fast food chains and other shops.

There is a... more inside
