Bonjour tout le monde!

SEE YOU IN SPRING 2018

************************************************
Hi there!

We host for 1 week first. I would prefer a longer staying,2 or 3 weeks, but we see after the first week.

We live, my husband and me, in South Burgundy, in Bresse, in a very beautiful countryside.

We are between Lyon and Dijon, 45km north from Bourg en Bresse, 17km from Louhans and 12km from Saint Amour where there is a railway station.
We are very close from highway A39 (Aire du Poulet de Bresse) so it is great if you hitchhicking or carpooling. it is also the way to Italy, Switzerland!

My daughters (26 and 28) are not living anymore with us but they come often!
We are 57 and 67 years old and we are french.

In particular we would love to host anyone with any of the following skills:

- all the work that can be done in a garden, pruning, weeding ... (project; to install 4 pergolas and before paint them etc...)
- Help with the horses(clean... more inside

In March 2015, we moved from a Belgian city life to a smallholding in an idyllic area in the south-east of Burgundy, where we are keeping chickens, bees, sheep, producing organic vegetables and we're experimenting with growing our own cereals.

During the last couple of years, we renovated the house and received lots and lots of helping friends (and friends of friends) and we discovered that we love working with other people, whatever their skills are. Now the house has become cosy and liveable, our attention is moving outwards.

Anyone who is willing to help is more than welcome, especially if you like both outdoor work and to give a hand in the household as well.

You will arrive in a young family (two daughters –Madeleine and Toinette- and a baby boy Josquin) where we love to have fun, to be outside, to produce authentic food and to have a good glass of Burgundy wine with a nice conversation.

Accomodation is modest but good: you can sleep in a tent or in the barn, w... more inside

Hello All

We are a family of four. My wife, Louiza and I with our two children.

We have a small 20 hectare farm where we farm with Soay sheep (ancient breed that resembles to the wild mouflon sheep race). We also farm with wallabies. Apart from that we have large tracts of land with forests that need cutting and thinning out. Also we need to enclose more land with fencing and do some general renovation work on our farm.

We are aiming to have an eco friendly farm where visitors can come and stay for a few weeks. We are in the process of renovation our second farm house with natural materials and ecologically...not building with cement but chalk and sand, etc.

My wife has a beauty salon in town and spends her days there. I take care of the farm and try to advance by renovating and upgrading our farm. We sometimes just do not have the time for everything and a helping hand would be very much appreciated. I speak fluent English, German and Dutch. My wife is fluent in English... more inside

The Manoir de l'Echauguette is an 18th century Manor with beautiful outbuildings and a park closed of walls. It is set-up in the middle of an old North Burgundy village of 750 souls with all commodities.

About me: I am 48, completely international, born abroad, lived abroad as a child and later as an adult in London and Barcelona. I speak English and some Spanish (and French of course). I love meeting people, exchanging, teaming-up on projects.
Hélias the Golden Retriever and Mao the Labrador Retriever share the house with me.

I would welcome help:
- to help keep the courtyard and the garden great, but also better them with flowers.
It is a charming French designed garden with little alleys, with a line of fruit trees, a wall of grape, and some beautiful old trees. Timing: anytime
- For wood work, anything with house renovation. To create one more room in the attic, or help with modernizing a barn, lots of other projects possible. Timing: anytime

I ask for a minimum of ... more inside

Our chateau, 2 hours south of Paris, is a center for all types of celebrations and self-development, with a touch of provincial splendour.

We are looking for people to help us with skills in carpentry, building, plumbing, electricians, painting and interior decoration as we are in the process of beautifying the chateau.

Work is only from early morning til lunch, 5 days a week. Every afternoon and weekend is free. In exchange we provide bicycles, private accomodation, food and fun ! We are welcoming and entertaining hosts and love to meet and share with others from all around the world.

Thanks to contact us BY EMAIL for more info and to arrange a stay of a few days to a few weeks.

May all beings be happy.

We are a recently retired French/UK couple. In March 2017 we bought a 'small', 'modern' chateau dating from 1800 full of charm. It is in a lovely setting within one kilometre of Noyers sur Serein, a mediaeval walled town rated amongst the most beautiful in France with a small mixed international community including artists and musicians.Transport links are good to Paris (one hour by TGV from Montbard which is 30km away a little longer but more economical from Tonnere).

The chateau is comfortable but in need of refurbishment, much of which we are doing ourselves. We can offer en suite accommodation and the chance to enjoy the superb local food and wine. Our project is to make the house a great home and ready it for letting as a whole and hosting events. We need help with the garden, painting and decorating the house and improving the outbuildings. Jobs can be tailored to match available skills, time and interests. Experience and maturity welcomed.

(Building a carport). Some garden work possible as well. Own transportation recommended. (If you like cooking, let me know as well)

We are running a B&B in the natural regional park of Morvan that is situated in the center of the Bourgogne (Burgundy) region.
We are located in the center of the park, less than 3km from the Lac des Settons (the biggest lake in the Morvan), on a pathway to a forest. Our concept is to offer a quiet and relaxing stay. Good night sleep is guaranteed!

Requests for help will vary by the moment because there is always something to do in and around a house! So if you have any sort of skill, just let us know.

Hello travelers,
I am the proud owner of a historic castle from the 15th century, situated in the middle of the countryside of Burgundy.
If the building is habitable as it is, the gardens and grounds require substantial work that I can not carry out alone.
The walls need to be stripped of their invasiveness ivy, dry stone walls of the paths are partially collapsed, trails are not passable overgrown, fruit plantations are to be undertaken, etc. ...
Accommodation in the castle or in tents, bicycles available, wireless internet.
If you have skills in wood or building you are more than welcome.

The Next Operation of tree planting is scheduled from November 23 to December 3rd 2017.
September,October open.
Operation in mid April 2018.
We are relatively isolated 10 km from shops and 40 minutes north of Dijon.
Simplicity, sincerity.
