Tena koutou katoa!
Hullo everyone!

#Warning# ;-)
We enjoy working hard and you will need to as well. We like to host people who are interested in our way of life. We do most things by hand, even if it takes a while sometimes!

We live in a small forest with our children, animals, gardens and orchard. We grow most of our own food. Usually we have several goats, cows, horses, chickens and pigs. Our home is made from recycled and natural materials. It's small, simple and rugged like most things here.

My name is Amandine and my partner is Tyler. We are 37 and 34 years old. And we now have 2 energetic children; Rosalie (born in 2016) and Gabriel (born in 2019). I work at the hospital as a casual and at home I make cheese, look after kitchen pets and plant seeds compulsively. Tyler is a farrier and builds farm fences sometimes but our own farm and gardens are our main priority.

We always have a variety of work to keep you interested. At the moment there is lots of garden and... more inside

We live in Waipapa/Kerikeri on a rural, 4ha life-style property. We have cows, ducks, chickens and a large vegetable garden. There is separate 2 bedroom accommodation for guests.

The intercity bus stops in Kerikeri. Our property is 5km from State Highway 10. We will collect you from Kerikeri if necessary.

Help needed is varied: gardening, pruning trees, drain clearing, room painting and repair, building painting and repair, weed control, farm maintenance, fencing, chopping wood.
In return we will provide free accommodation and meals.

Most of our food comes off the property and we aim to be as sustainable as possible.

We are a retired couple who live on a lifestyle property on the Whangarei Heads. We require help to establish a track through steep bush. This area is very picturesque and we would like share it with others. Helpers would live in the main house.
They would have their own bathroom. Parua Bay township is about 10 mins (by car) away and has cafes with a pub even closer. Transportation is necessary.

I have been living in Whangarei for most of my life - love it here :-) I`ve just purchased a beautiful waterfront bach 15 mins from Whangarei CBD. I`m also flatting with social / active flatmates and there`s lots of fun things to do nearby.

With these homes there`s plenty of work to be done around - including painting, gardening, housework etc.

I`d like to meet some travellers to help out with these and happy to introduce / show around some of northland`s best attractions / secrets!
Can provide sleeping quarters, food and drinks for around 4 hours work per day.. Can also potentially provide a vehicle to borrow / further allowances dependent on the level of work..

Also if anyone has any specific experience and job history as a mechanic or builder I would happily pay a good hourly wage for some work.

Would prefer to host helpers with experience or those in 20s+

I have a calf rearing farm overlooking the beautiful Waimamaku Valley. Just 25 minutes down the road from Tane Mahuta or Omapere is this gem of a farm situated in between lush fields and native bush.

If your adventure of Aotearoa has just begun or you want to end your journey on a typical New Zealand farm, then this is the place to be. Only 3.5 hours north of Auckland and on a side road off SH12 - the Twin Coast Highway - this is the perfect stop in the 'wop-wops'.

I am your typical Kiwi farmer; easy going, enthusiastic about dog-trialing and I love good food. As I have just recently taken over Stonehinge Farm, I am looking for some help around the house, garden and farm. Tasks include for example: Feeding the calves, chickens or ducks; some housework and gardening; cutting/piling wood for the winter, etc.
For 4 hours of work a day you can expect your own room and pretty tasty farm meals.

In your free time you can enjoy the farm or surrounding areas, swim in the Tasman Sea... more inside

Private home looking for someone to help with gardening, maintenance and odd jobs. The accommodation is private from the main house with its own bathroom and use of a shed kitchen. Would suit temporary stay and flexibility with hours and days. We have 4 active children so you would need to be tolerant :)
