Hi travelers!

We live on a small farm in Pirongia (30 minutes south of Hamilton and 1 hour 30 minutes south of Auckland). I have two teenage kids that are here 50% of the time. On our 11 Hectare farm we farm a small amount of sheep and cows. We also have two very friendly cats.

We are looking for people to help with house cleaning (windows), gardening cooking and general help around the property.

We have WIFI available and you will have your own room with ensuite in family home looking over our swimming pool or could stay in a self contained unit 50 meters from house.

Mt Pirongia has many tramping tracks and we are only 30 minutes from the Waitomo Glowworm caves. Hobition (Lord of the Rings set) is 45 minutes away. Raglan is also 45 minutes away. As a family we surf often.out at raglan and also have a beach house south of raglan where we spend alot of time surfing and fishing.

We can discuss how many hours you work for your accommodation and meals. (We mostly eat me... more inside

Hallo Travellers!
We are a family of three. I have been a physiotherapist in the past but am now a potter and teach pottery/ceramics. I am originally from Germany but have been living in New Zealand for 33 years. I met my husband Mark in NZ and we have a lovely son, Leo (14). I love nature, animals, cooking and have a passion for anything creative. We enjoy travelling and meeting people from all over the world, with the exciting exchange of cultures, Laughter, wonderful food and ideas it brings.
We live in a large house with a big garden and wild, beautiful gully. We always have various projects going on, especially in the garden and with the chicken, that we need help with. We have just build a new large area for the chickens in the gully and need help transferring a large amount of bark/wood-chips to that area. And I'm always happy to have some help with everyday household things.
So we would like to have keen helpers with whom we can work together in good spirit and exchange... more inside

** 1 HOUR WEEDING TO STAY IN YOUR OWN TEENY TINY CABIN**

Hello, we are Chris, Susie and our sons Fergal (2) and Larkin(0). We have a small 2 acre section 5 minutes drive out of Raglan town that is in the process of regenerating as bush with thousands of native trees planted.

Work is WEEDING and FREEING TREES FROM WEEDS.

This is sweaty, physical, muddy and prickly work but for only 1 hour of self-directed work per day it is perfect setup for many people wanting some Raglan time :)

Extra points if you know something above native trees so you can help nurture our little baby trees.

We can offer you accommodation (no food) in your own very basic 2 bed rustic cabin (6sqm) with composting toilet and outside shower in exchange for 1 hour help per day.

If you don't have your own car then we can provide you a bicycle however it is a hilly 20 minute bike ride to town and a very hilly 1 hour bike ride to the surf so please bear this in mind if you want to be surfing every ... more inside

We live on a 20 arce lifestyle property in rural North Waikato. It is a small but busy property. My partner and I have 3 children, 1 girl aged 15 (away at school during term time) and 2 boys aged ,13 and 11. We raise beef cattle and have a number of horses and ponies. In the summer we make hay ourselves on the property. I also run a business from home which I produce and sell chutneys and sauces. I work away from home locally 3-4 days a week (usually during school hours). We ride horses and ponies and the boys ride motorbikes. I give riding lessons and we have an arena and also access to large areas of farmland for riding over. At times we travel to competitions. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our family activities and watch the children`s sports. The work we require is varied but does involve looking after animals incl. Horses, dogs, cats and chickens. There is always housework to do and some childcare, sometimes cooking if you like to. There is also ... more inside

I have a 9 unit motel and holiday park which accommodates campervans/tents/and buses. We can offer a self contained motel room or an on site caravan, free wifi, and meals in exchange for general cleaning duties/maintenanace work and painting.Would love to have someone for a long term, but of course we welcome any proposals.Putaruru is close to "everywhere" and though not essential, having your own vehicle will allow you to enjoy so much more of what the Waikato has to offer.Rotorua,Taupo,Mt Maunganui and Waitomo caves are all within an hours driving.Locally the famous "Blue springs",Hobbitton and Waikato river walks feature and we will be able to arrange transport to some places if you do not have a vehicle.I am maori and I think I can provide other perceptions and cultural perspectives to your visit.Paid work available for long term helpers.
Need help to update our website and willing to pay someone.
