No availability at the moment sorry.

Baby lambs to bottle feed.

Our family loves hosting helpers and in the last two years we have met some amazing people, and made some amazing friends. Our family is very open minded and enjoys learning about other lifestyles and cultures that differ from our own.

Our accommodation is a large double bedroom with own bathroom, unlimited Wi-Fi. The work is approx 4hrs in exchange for accommodation and all meals.

Our families interests include Bush walking, trail running, rock climbing, netball, yoga (when I used to have time), hunting, go-carting, eating, and nerf wars. All of which you are welcome to join in with.

We are a pretty noisy family and we like to have a laugh.

Nick works in a family business quarrying. And two of our girls attend a private school. The third attends a rural country school. Many of our helpers have found visiting these places interesting.

We have bikes available for use and are just a short trip th... more inside

Hello beautiful people and welcome to our super cool 107yrs old homestead. She's a grand old house on 4 hectares of land. We have a woodland which is home to some neat bird life. Occasionally we even seen a rare Kaarearea (NZ Falcon).

I am Toyah and he is my husband Greg. We are just doing our thing out here in the country side. We love contemporary art, world music, all the animals and learning how to live more sustainably.

We don't use any sprays and try to find organic products for cleaning etc. Maybe you can teach us how to make some???

We are passionate about permaculture and growing our own fruit and vegetables and this is one place where we really need your help. There is a lot to do to keep this property looking great and running well. We are also part of Airbnb and our home is large. So be prepared to do daily housekeeping. An eye for detail really comes in handy here.

We have lots of animals and helpers must be happy to have them in your face a lot o... more inside

Iím looking for some one/s to help especially from October 1 through November 2018 but after that as well.

Haumoana is a small, very artsy and alternative, semi rural seaside village. There are two surfing spots very close by. Miles of bike tracks, mostly off-road mean you can ride to the two larger towns Napier and Hastings. I am located closest to Havelock North and Clive

You will be glamping in a tiny gorgeous cabin perched above a lagoon next to the beach with your own private deck. Wifi is available in the cabin, There is a shared (with me) outdoor shower with hot water and bathroom but your own composting toilet. . Kitchen facilities are shared and is a strictly vegetarian kitchen where no meat or fish may be kept or cooked. Breakfast served but other meals are not always provided but your welcome to use basic kitchen stores like oil, salt, spices, grains, pulses and beans etc. . Anissa and I share a peaceful cottage with a small bear (aka rocky the dog) in dreamy Te Awanga. Together we run an organic chocolate shop in nearby Hastings which takes a lot of our time so we're looking for helpers to help with the garden and to finish some little renovations at home. you will be accommodated in a tidy sleep out with it's own bathroom and shower. We have a pretty good outdoor kitchen, bath and shower too. the beach is a 5 min stroll down the street and there's a great surf spot there too. Lots of projects happening and always something to do. There's also a mini super market 10mins bike ride away And if you need to work on any of your own projects we have a great workshop at home and a collective space in town. Te Awanga is a great community and there's usually a beach fire to enjoy with a beer and some company most weekends. Thanks for taking time to read this and we look forward to hearing from you! We have a large family homestead, with one daughter at boarding school and an 18 year old son playing polo. There are 4 polo horses to keep fit and look after at polo tournaments from the beginning of December until the end of January. The horses are well mannered but applicants must be experienced riders.

We can provide a large bedroom, bathroom and food or cook your own, in return for 4-5 hours a day working with the horses or gardening etc. We're very flexible. WiFi is available and we have cell phone reception. The nearest town is 5 kms away, Hastings is half an hour so own car would be an advantage. The beach is half an hour away.

We operate a manufacturing business from our farm buildings making polo mallets and croquet mallets which are exported to over 50 countries. There's always plenty to be done.

I have 15 acres in beautiful Central Hawkes Bay. A few sheep,1 dog,12 chooks and soon a couple of bobby calves.
Currently in need of a fit, mature, sensible male preferably with some building or landscaping experience for a 1 to 2 week stay, possibly longer
There will be some gardening to do, help set up pest and bird proof orchard/vege garden, feeding of animals, maintenance of fences and troughs, painting and general outdoor work. Nothing too strenuous! Approx 15-20 hours work a week with own bedroom and meals provided. I usually cook the evening meal but if you want to share your cooking skills I'm always appreciative of trying new cuisine. Breakfast and lunch is generally help yourself from the fridge or pantry. Food is mainly grown here rather than bought, fruit and veges are spray free. I have free range meat and eggs.
My goal is to eventually be self sufficient, it takes time to set up an efficient garden but I'm well on the way.
I enjoy good food, good wine, good com... more inside
