Hi we are on holiday for 10 days and we would like a person or 2 people to keep an eye on the place. Feed the chicken s and deal with a few guests. In return we would like your help with some of the jobs of running the hostel.
It is a great opportunity for two people to have some independence.
We have a great location and are close(or not to far away) to many of the cool parts of the West Coast. Punakaiki, Hokitika Gorge. Arthurs Pass and we make sure you have some quality time off to visit these places. Sick of working full-time, then give us a call we would love to have you.

Hi
We are an older couple, but young at heart
We have 2 small dogs, 5 chocks, some
sheep/no lambs at present and we live 10km from Hokitika, own transport preferred, but not essential. It is important if you are thinking of joining us to let us know in advance so I can send you directions as we are a little hard to find.

Our block of land is in need of a tidy up, e.g. some help with fencing, collecting firewood, taming the gorse, preparation for painting the house, gardening also some indoor work when the weather is bad.

We are looking for happy positive people to help get our land tamed. The hours of work and meals will be negotiable. You will have a separate bedroom in our home which has a king sized bed, this can be changed to 2 singles, also a room with a queen sized bed. There is a river on the boundary which is good for kayaking

The West Coast has fantastic lakes, bike trails, bush walks, beaches and rivers. Hokitika is a small tourist town where there is a glo... more inside

Hi Everyone,
Me and my two children aged 8 and 10 are living on a lifestyle property overlooking the sea.
Between running my own hairdressing salon, everyday life, gardens, tunnelhouse, orchard and berries there is always plenty to do around here. We need keen independent workers to help us with maintaining the gardens, planting trees etc aswell as helping out around the house.
So if you like family living, a little crazyness, exploring our wonderful beaches and bush walks, swimming in the river or surfing in the sea, we would love to hear from you.
I would like you to work for about 4 hours a day or 2h for just accomodation.
Accomodation is a double bed in a separate sleepout with toilet facilities.
Karamea is a quiet but beautiful place with lots of outdoor stuff to do like: fishing, biking, surfing tramping etc.

Theres everything to do for the outdoor person; fishing, hunting, kayaking(got those),diving, tramping, horseriding, hillclimbing etc. is in our backyard.
We would like people to stay at least 2 weeks to get to know our area.
I also have a contracting business with diggers and trucks, so any experience with machinery would be a bonus!

HI at present we have a full house for the foreseeable future due to lock down. Because we are in a remote area with no shop's we can only provide for a few people, we have 4 backpackers as of today and this will stretch our supplies in... more inside
