Hello I need some home help.General gardening/section work/ helping create vege gardens. Window washing. Oil Staining.
I am 7 minutes drive from Kaikoura. There is a mountain bike track a couple of kms from my place. I am very flexible with arrangements.
Work of 3 to 4 hours a day over 5 days is most likely needed and would need the help before mid October.
4 hours help a day, I will provide meals and accommodation. Very flexible. If no meals or one meal needed we can come to an arrangement.
Accommodation can either be in the house in the loft or around in a private part of my section in a caravan which has outdoor shower/bath.There is an outdoor toilet.
It is just myself on the property and am getting prepared to move there full time this summer from Christchurch.
I have one electric bike available for your town trips if needed.
Cheers Mark

We are looking for someone to come and spend time with us in our small, homely backpackers in the beautiful town of Kaikoura.
For only 12 hours work a week you will get free accommodation, unlimited wi-fi, spa pool use and laundry. We are a small friendly hostel 3 minutes from town.
Kaikoura is an awesome place if you love nature (whales, dolphins, seals, mountains, sea, walking tracks, sea food - crayfish - and much more)
You need to be able to commit for a minimum of 3 weeks. There is plenty of paid work in the local cafes and pubs for someone wanting to save some serious money.

We live on a established lifestyle property 30km North of Kaikoura. We are friendly and open people with lots of hosting experience. Our place is close to the ocean, mountains and the Clarence River. This place is a haven for our native birdlife. We run a few sheep and have horses available to ride. We have a large garden to look after. Other work will be firewood, maintenance on the house, fencing and working with the horses. There is surfing, tramping, hunting, rafting, fishing and great horse riding on our doorstep. We now have some outstanding geological wonders very near our home now and quite a lot of earthquake damage to sort. Lots of new plans and schemes that we want to share and have help with. Give us a call.

***UPDATE*** We are currently doing some renovations to our homestead and need some help with painting and gardening. We would love to have 2-4 enthusiastic volunteers to stay for a couple of weeks to help us put the finishing touches on the place.

We are a young family, living on a beautiful remote coastal property 40 kms north of Kaikoura. We are currently seeking helpers to stay in our large homestead to maintain the grounds and the house itself. This would be ideal for a couple or a couple of friends. We will provide a large spacious bedroom (or twwo if required) and private lounge area, linen towels etc in return for assistance in maintaining the property. Two other workers live in the homestead and the kitchen and bathrooms will be shared with them. It's a huge place so there is heaps of space for all. We live in another cottage on the farm, just down the drive. Food will be provided, much of which we produce ourselves although we need people who are able to cook for thems... more inside

We are a commercial beekeeping business with our home on site. We currently have just over 1000 beehives around the district.

We would love to find people who are able to cook meals, clean and do some gardening while we are in our extremely busy summer months. We also have a 13 year old son who needs to be entertained after school and during school holidays.

Over our back fence is the clarence river and a few minutes down the road we have the beach. We also wake up every morning to a view of snow covered mountains.

Just down the road from us are clarence river rafting and they often have spaces for people to fill their rafting trips.

The accomodation available is currently a campervan for sleeping and shared unisex kitchen/bathroom facilities. Meals are shared with us at the house, but full kitchen facilities are available if self- catering is preferred.

It is imperative that you are not allergic to bees if you are applying to stay with us. A driver's license is also... more inside
