Hello Happy Travellers,

We haven't had any helpers for quite a while now but we sure need them now. We are getting married on our property and we need to get it wedding ready.

The event will be on our property and we need to prepare the garden so it is in full glory for the fabulous party we are going to have.

There will be many friends camping over the wedding weekend so we need to do a spot of landscaping for their arrival. The forest will have lighting installed so we need to tidy up that zone so the lights can be spectacular. The list goes on and on and Terry and I just can't manage to do it on our own.

The vegetable gardens need to have their spring crop planted and a watering system needs to be installed. Terry loves his chainsaw so there is always plenty of wood that needs to be stacked and split. Lots of wood splitting to do but don't worry we have a machine that helps.

The swimming pool needs some love before anyone can dive into that.

At our home in Tallarook:
Here we are blessed and live very well in abundance. Mainly we grow vegetables and practice meditation and yoga. Other projects include beekeeping, running market stalls at key times of the year, establishing preparations for chickens, establishing infrastructure for the yoga festival here in November.
Production Gardens:
I have a 1/4 acre (pictured) which I crop veggies. crops for this season are beets, garlic, carrots, onion, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and more!
The Gardens at home and the farm are always in movement and action. They feed us well and give surplus in summer for events, markets and pickling.
The Home property:
At home the property has an orchard of 90 trees that in winter we can prune (I love pruning trees) and in summer can eat the fruits and pickle them also!
The broader property focuses on grape production for wine making. There is also paid work here during harvest time, and often help needed at other times with train... more inside

We have an 1861 ex school on two acres we are putting in organic gardens and landscaping including some painting
We are wanting workers for 5-6 days at a time.
The work is fun and we would prefer two people at a time.
At the School live Donna my wife and I we have no children, we are both just 50 and pretty laid back. And run a local newspaper business from our home office, The accommodation offered is new, self-contained and detached from the main house, it is quite spacious with a kitchen dining table and shower toilet bathroom.
We are only nine minutes by car to the beautiful town of Daylesford (Google it!)
We have kangaroos in the wold within walking distance as well as a public dam full of trout two minutes walk away.

As we are a journalist and photographer couple we are always on the road around our district and would love to share our special part of the world with visitors.

Both Donna and I have been backpackers around the world so no what it is like to travel!

**Please note we are not taking any helpers until September**

We are a family of three living on 1/2 an acre and surrounded by bushland, rainforest and wineries - it is an incredible area. We have an organic vegetable garden, a native garden, lots of fruit trees and now extending on our herb/medicinal garden. We are a well traveled family, musical, sustainable and creative.

We are looking for 1 or 2 people to help with our 3 yr old son and gardening. We still have more garden beds to build, weeding, planting etc.

Our son is a very friendly toddler who loves to play outdoors. Work would include playing with our son whilst I work from home, and on other days a little bit of gardening (watering, weeding, planting, shoveling).

We eat organic and plant based (vegan) and have a cat who is shy and just sleeps all day. There are lots of native animals in the area - you will see kookaburras, parrots, wombats, echidnas, kangaroos, wallabies, galahs, cockatoos, horses, goats, lar... more inside

I have a waterfront cafe/restaurant where you will be working approximately 4 to 5 hours a day 4 or 5 days a week with week ends off.
The job is simplistic for those who are inexperienced and consists mainly of helping the chef, washing dishes. waiting on tables, for those more confident and who are proficient in English there can be some serving and counter food preparation if you so desire.
In all cases you are an extra and the staff love this as there is less work for them. All the transport to and from the cafe is provided and the cafe is 3 K from the CBD.
I live in a modern 4 bedroom house in Werribee, where workers have their own room and toilet. I have free WIFI. I live 500m from the station, where a train runs to Melbourne every 20 min, 22 hrs a day.

About 4 times a year I go to ÷utback" Australia where I legally hunt and shoot feral animals and these trips last for about 8 days, if desirous and suitable helpers can accompany for no charge but this is entirely optio... more inside
