i have been on couchsurfing network for years hosting many people.. and i think this HelpX network is a great idea. Actually i kinda prefer it now.
I am flexible with my time (especially during the week days) and love to hang out and make new friends..
In the summer I travel around Victoria and Australia a lot, going on road trips with friends and many music festivals -camping in the bush etc..
I am into music (composing/playing); Alternative health / medicine ; Electronics / Engineering / technology ; Anything weird wacky unusual unexplained strange secret, etc etc...;
Business combining most of the above, ;) ..
The world is full of amazing things and possibilities and Life can never be dull for the seeker with an open mind.

I do not drink or smoke and i prefer vegetarian food but still i m pretty flexible..
During the warmer months me and my crew travel to various outdoor music festivals around Australia and we run some fun projects like a Live Jamming/Chill Space, e... more inside

Live near the ocean, it is across the road!!!

Seacroft is an old Monastery which is now a farm and guesthouse on the Great Ocean Road. We can give you a very relaxing and spectacular place to live with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. Our property is between Lorne and Apollo Bay.

We are looking for a couple of people, or one person, to start immediately. We are also happy to book people in for future dates beyond that.

We will accept two if you are traveling together, otherwise only one. This is to ensure you are not sharing with someone you do not know.

Please email to contact me. Please state in your message what date you would like to join us and for how long you wish to stay.

We are asking for only three hours of work a day, between 10-1pm. Work includes preparation and cleaning of the guest accommodation. There is one day off per week, upon arrangement.

We require that you have your own car and provide your own food.

Current vacancy for single person or couple (July 2020)

We live on a 5 acre rural block in Yapeen, Central Victoria. Yapeen is a great mix of quiet countryside within easy access to the historic goldfields and artistic hub of Castlemaine. We are owner builders and in the process of finishing a unique, off grid house. Our block has a diversity of native grasses, some large remnant trees, an abundance of reptiles and birds, resident frogs and visiting kangaroos.

We have lots of plans and are in need of extra hands to get things done, but also keen for good company and to learn from and teach others. Work we need help with is maintaining and improving the biodiversity on the block (weeding, native plant propagation, planting and watering revegetation patches and making wildlife habitat such as nesting boxes), house/shed building, animal fencing and gardening we have an orchard and a large vegetable garden. We use organic methods only and implement permaculture concepts wheneve... more inside

Please read our profile carefully, and see our website and instagram. Longer stays preferred, and we also need to know that you have been observing safe practices with the virus.

If you feel you are the right person or people for us, we look forward to receiving your application.

This is a permaculture small farm on the edge of Violet Town, just 800m from the train station. The farm is well established, as most tree planting was done between 1996 and 2000, and the tree crops are well maintained and productive.

We have a large established fruit and nut orchard, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, chickens, milking goats, bees, forestry for shelter and timber, and large dam for irrigation and swimming. Our house is made of timber and mudbrick, and we catch our own water. Most of our food comes from the house garden and farm, including a huge range of fresh fruit all year round, a range of vegetables for each season, honey, cheese, olive oil, table olives, and home killed or ... more inside

--Looking from 04/07/20---We are a 30yo couple, our 5 year old daughter, Mia the dog and our kittens Fuli and Nala. We live in a leafy suburb of Melbourne and are looking for a single female to do some light chores and child care for our daughter, 3 days per week (around 20hrs). The room we have is quite large, which means you will have your own space to lounge with a private bathroom and toilet. Childcare experience is a must and we would like people to stay with us for 8+ weeks (so our daughter has time to adapt). We regularly camp in the beautiful country of Victoria, we love cooking, playing sport, making music and drinking the odd glass of wine ;) We are 40 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD and around 50 minutes to the beaches of Mornington Peninsula. We have been helpers through this site and honestly didn't have a great experience, so enjoy taking the opportunity to give a good experience to anybody we meet through HelpX. In exchange, we offer two (mainly vegetarian) meals per... more inside

'We aren't creating paradise, we are already in paradise!'
This permaculture home, garden and party house has been created by myself and my mates, bit by bit, over 10 years. In the summer its a festival here, I hold parties every few weeks. We have a spa, sauna, natural pool, and hammocks swinging from the trees and decks, all the way down the many different levels of this steeply sloping property.
I'm a medical doctor and Professor of Integrative medicine. My big goal is to turn the whole world into a wellness retreat, starting here.
You will be over 26, observant and pro-active. Happy couples are welcome.
I do a lot of travelilng, so its great to have someone to take care of the place when I cannot. Inital stay 2 days, to be extended if we are a great fit, and everyone is happy.
Its a chemical free, natural household, with spring water from the mountains to drink, and a no-chlorine super-filter for everything else. I want you to go home radiant with health and happine... more inside
