We're interested in hearing from strong, young people willing and able to help us in the garden and on the farm - and who are also interested in sharing experiences and culture in a happy atmosphere. We prefer non-smokers and omnivores! Over the years, we have enjoyed the company of a wide range of HelpXers and we especially enjoy helping new arrivals settle into Australia.

This is an old family property first established by my Great Grandfather, although we now live on a small section of the original property. My wife and I were formerly running a merino sheep stud. We have a large garden which needs constant work and from time to time also undertake more major projects for which we seek strong, enthusiastic assistance! We try to match the work expectations to the skills and interests of our guests.

Basic fitness and a readiness to learn and be involved are essential. We prefer to speak English but have some limited French. We are 90 minutes from Melbourne just outside Ball... more inside

We are retired & have a fairly large garden and grow a few plants from our suburban home and sell some at 3 local markets each month on the Mornington Peninsula.
Our house is large with a bedroom & bathroom for helpers either single or double beds
Work would entail outdoor work, watering, cutting back plants general gardening work and assisting with market preparation
We have had several young people live & work with us over the past 20 years & still keep in touch with them. We live in an interesting area with beaches, vineyards & walking tracks within 5 kms, Kangaroos are not quite in our backyard but not far away.
We have bikes you can borrow to explore the area. We are vegetarian but eat fish so are happy to provide you with healthy meals. Work is usually 4 hours a day with two days off but we particularly need help on fridays and saturdays to load and unload plants for markets.
Although we only speak English we are happy to help to help others to improve their English ... more inside

Hello and welcome to beautiful Olinda.

Note: There are several DIY projects on the go and it is not expected that one person can do all the work. I look forward to hearing from any skilled and experienced Helpx candidates that can help develop a website, have design / drafting skills and can use AutoCad or can do tree pruning and lopping, or have a passion for gardening, repairing post and wire fences, building dry stone and bluestone walls, pathways and steps, and constructing a cabin / studio, or a wood shed or help with some bricklaying and painting projects.

I have accommodation available for a couple or two travelling friends or single male or female helpers and you are welcome to stay as long or as short as you like.

There is also outdoor power and water available and plenty of room with easy parking access for helpers who are looking for their own space with their own caravan, campervan or for campers to set up their tent and camp out.

We are an English speaking married couple who have been married for 47 years and have retired in sunny Mallacoota.
The photos below are the view from our front veranda. We have spectacular sunrises in the mornings.
We live in a neat and tidy home overlooking the beautiful Mallacoota lake. With the lake and ocean so close you can swim, surf, fish, take a slow walk or a longer hike. Local sports include bowls, golf, badminton, soccer, tennis and cricket.
Our home is within walking distance to town. Mallacoota is right within the Croajingalong National park, is on the east coast of Victoria and half way between Sydney and Melbourne. There is public transport between Melbourne and Batemans Bay and we are on this route. If you get off the main bus route at Genoa there is a local Mallacoota bus which will meet you there on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (at 9.00am coming from Batemans bay and 2.30pm from Melbourne) and this will bring you to our town bus stop where we will mee... more inside

We are preparing the garden for a wedding in late March and need helpers. If you would like to be involved in this fun time please read on.
We live in the mountains of north east Victoria, one hours drive from Albury Wodonga. It's a really pretty place with rivers and creeks and friendly people. Our garden is what needs the most work as there is about 4 acres of it and we open it up to the public for some of the year. We have a large collection of medicinal plants and like to teach people about how they were used to heal in the past.
We like to do artistic things, we make our own soap and always have building projects on the go.
The gardens are magnificently landscaped and include a water lily covered lake with Monet bridge, large vegetable garden and hedge maze.
We are located beside the Mitta Mitta river in a picturesque mountain area close to the snow fields.
We ask for 5 hours or there abouts gardening or odd jobs per day.
