Hi everyone,
We are an easy going elderly Austrian couple running a hobby farm in the Daintree rainforest. What we are looking for is help with renovation, building, garden work and clearing etc. We would prefer two helpers i.e. couples or friends with some kind of hands on trade as in carpentry, mechanics, concreting etc., or just not afraid
to get the hands dirty. From time to time paid work is on offer depending on current project.

The property is located on the northern bank of the Daintree river and only accessible by dinghy. It comprises of two dwellings and equipment shed. Crossing the river takes about 15 min. depending on the water level. The crossing is 10km from Daintree village. The property is on a 2 hectares clearing surrounded by world heritage rainforest. Hi, my name is Marika, I'm 35 years old, married and with a 2 years old daughter. We are originally from Italy but now living in Australia. We are a young, joyful family.
We own an organic online shop and we teach dance and fitness. We need a beautiful soul to play with my daughter, light duties around the house and some cooking, and we also have little dog!
We are located in the beautiful Gold Coast, and only 5 minutes drive from the beach, cafes, shopping centre, library and fitness centre.
We look forward to meet our helper after being helpers ourselves when arrived to Australia.
We would love to share our experience and why we decided to spend our life in Australia!
Looking forward to chat with you!

Do you want to live entirely off-grid surrounded by natural settings and lots of animals? The trade off is your help for 3-4hrs daily with a variety of jobs. :-)

No prior experience necessary, but enthusiasm to help us out for 4hrs each day is a must (if the job is finished to a good standard early, we finish early). Non-smokers only. Couples or two friends preferred over solo travelers, but motivated solo travelers will be considered.

In your free time, volunteers can go swimming, enjoy many of the hikes on and around our property and meet/spend time with our animals.. read or watch movies etc. Three horses on the property who enjoy trail rides (for experienced, confident but gentle riders only. Claire may be able give beginners a few lessons or some pony rides in your free time).

Generally we take volunteers for one week only as we have other work commitments. Right now we are looking for two motivated helpers for one week of work (one week in July & one week in August... more inside
