I am looking for someone to help me with riding horses, mustering on horseback, spraying weeds, offsiding, driving 4wd vehicles between properties. I also need help with fencing. Some fences need to be strained and some repaired. I reside on a large forestry block that runs beef cattle. There is a small cottage on this block which is used for accommodation. Local shops are 40kms away by vehicle. I am able to provide transport to and from the local shops. I would also like help with some domestic duties and cooking.Smoking is permitted. No children or pets allowed. I am predominately a meat eater but vegetarian meals can be provided by yourself. Auburn falls (national park) is a place of local interest to backpackers, which is 25kms away. The closest township has a population of about 2000 people. There is an op shop, banks, chemist, grocery shop, library and a post office situated in this township.

Come and experience life on a working cattle, seed and hay property. We run 500 head of cattle on our 560 Ha home farm, set in a beautiful valley. Work around the property includes tasks such as mustering, stock work in the cattle yards, fencing and machinery and vehicle maintenance. Work in our seed and hay business could involve helping with cleaning and bagging grass seed or coming along for the drive when we deliver hay. We rely on 4WD motor bikes and tractors for many tasks and may take the time to train you how to use these safely. Apart from farm work, we also look for help in our garden and vegetable garden as well as odd jobs in and around the house. We take care to work with safety in mind at all times and take the time to explain safety to our guests. Travel insurance is recommended.

We are a friendly family of three and enjoy sharing our home with visitors, especially at meal times. A separate and spacious guest area with ensuite, air-conditioning/heating, wireless in... more inside
