We are a family of four - Todd, Kate, Wimitja (12) and Kinyin (9). We are in the Adelaide Hills but only 15 - 20 minutes from the city center. Non smokers only. It's a happy spot here!

We have been wwoof hosting for many years now and really enjoy sharing life with people from all around the world. Stories, food, work, laughs and all that comes in between. We want to enjoy hosting you and we want you to enjoy being here!

I am a retired secondary school teacher and I love gardening, singing and playing guitar, hiking, presenting on community radio and travelling. I live in a lovely historic cottage on a large block with a permanent creek a few minutes walk from the centre of Willunga in South Australia. Willunga is a small country town in a wine growing region and is famous for it's cafes and Saturday morning Farmers Market. My home is about 45 mins south of Adelaide and a short drive to the beach. I can provide a room within my house for one or two people and delicious vegetarian meals in exchange for working with me on improving my organic garden and establishing a cut flower business. I prefer helpers that wish to stay for a few days up to one week. There is an outside BBQ for cooking meat. If you are interested in staying please email your phone number and I will contact you.

Sally and I (Lynn) live on a lifestyle property in the hills south of McLaren Vale. We have lots of fruit trees, large vegetable gardens, a paddock being rehabilitated with local tree planting and a flock of chooks and a 5 year old Red Heeler dog named Hilly who loves people. Kangaroos and birdlife abound and we have the occasional visiting echidna.
We are developing a B&B on the property which also provides accommodation for our working guests when we don't have paying guests- 2 double bedrooms, shared bathroom and large lounge with TV, combustion heater, pool table and kitchen facilities. Helpers are expected to keep the guesthouse clean. There is always lots of work to do outside - retaining walls, paving, planting, weeding, collecting and stacking firewood, etc. Depending on what is happening at the time we may have painting, fruit picking or pruning, netting trees, compost preparation or fence repair.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.

We appreciate help, enjoy young people and having an excuse to visit the beautiful and interesting places Adelaide, the hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia have to offer with them.

Please note: We got informed by the authorities that the Department of Immigration and Border Protection regards volunteering as work and only people with valid working /work and travel visa are allowed to do so. Volunteering with a tourist visa makes you in breach of the law and you can get deported and the host fined.
We are booked out for 2018 and have single bookings until April 2019 but we have some places available for most of 2019.

Please read through all the text below and only apply if you think this is for you. Ask us early as we have many requests and are not always but often booked quite a bit in advance.
