Hi, I am looking into Helpx for the first time.

I am a busy mum with two primary school aged girls.
I need help to sort my home out and do jobs like cleaning, folding and cooking, and possibly occasional child care.

The initial blitz will be hard work, but after that, the tasks would be easy to keep on top of, and probably no more than a couple of hours a day. For this reason, I'd prefer helpers who are willing to stay at least 2-3 weeks. I've been struggling with illness (thankfully recovering) and would appreciate help from someone who is non-judgemental about the current state of things and willing to help me sort it out. If you have experience dealing with total chaos, you're very welcome here! Students are also welcome - I can take you into town to the university or to South Regional TAFE most if not all days.

We are an all-girl household, and strictly non-smoking. We are learning musical instruments and have a piano, Cajon and guitars if you play. I cater for both v... more inside

We are a busy working couple on a 27 acre property just out of Albany. We both run our own businesses and have two energetic boys aged 3 and 5. We have many fruit trees and horses along with chooks and a vegetable garden.

We are doing lots of work around the place to improve the property such as removing old fences, building improvements and new fencing. The fruit trees need pruning, cleaning up around them and watering. There is also small amounts of other gardening to be done. There may also be some odd painting jobs. If you are good at cleaning then the house could use a spring clean and if you like cooking then we would love to taste your food. Depending on your experience and skills we can find the right task that you enjoy and that helps us, you can also fit it in when it suits you.

We would like people who enjoy the outdoors and are able to work independently. We ask for 2 hours of help a day or 10 hours a week in exchange for accommodation. Minimum of 1 week stay so... more inside

We own and manage a permaculture farm and currently building a strawbale training room. It is a unique oasis in Midwestern Australia which has been established over the last 25 years. We educate people in sustainable dryland permaculture practices. We are also Willing workers on organic farm hosts and love to spend time and share with others interested in our work. We provide food and accommodation for work. Prefer a minimum of one week stays, around 36 hours work with 2 days off. We are 6km from the coast and 11km from Geraldton. We supply you with a bicycle while you are here. We like it if you can share house duties such as cooking or washing up.
We have lots of projects and maintenance always on the go with volunteers. Our work includes nursery work, animal husbandry (emus, chooks, ducks and geese) strawbale building (at the moment) and farm maintenance, gardening and food and seed processing, this varies with the season. Good fun work.

Assistance needed with a property near the Shaolwater and Penguin Island Marine Park... general renovation ranging from general repairs to painting and gardening. Guests usually do about 2 hours a day (or about 10 hours over a week) helping in Shoalwater or our house in Fremantle.

We run a small organic (non-certified) market garden in the beautiful town of Pemberton. It is a small town (population around 1000 people) 3.5 hours from perth. We are surrounded by old growth forest and have wonderful clean air! We are lucky enough to be within walking distance of the town centre, and also walking distance to many local natural attractions (the glouster tree, the pemberton natural swimming pool)

We can always use extra hands around the farm, and there are lots of varied tasks. At the moment it's mostly weeding, removing the summer crops and planting winter crops. We usually ask for a couple of hours work a day in return for accomodation, and you can help yourself to most of the produce on the farm for eating!

We have a yurt (mondolian tent) for helpers to stay in, with a king bed & a queen bed so two couples could stay. The Yurt doesn't have it's own bathroom yet unfortunately, but does have a dry kitchenette & bar fridge so you can have space to yourself! ... more inside
