We operate a fantastic Hostel in a Fantastic Location in Belfast. We are a backpackers only hostel and always welcome volunteer helpers. We have a tour desk offering the best that both Belfast and Northern Ireland have to see including City Sightseeing, Gaints causeway etc. We offer a friendly atmosphere and dinners with the bed.

We ask for 24hrs per week with help running the hostel, making beds, cleaning, cooking, checking in guests explaining the area etc. In exchange you will get to live life for a while in buzzing Belfast with like minded people, with your accommodation in a shared dorm and access to food budget.

Travellers will learn all about Belfast, Northern Ireland and its people and have the opportunity to learn about the history of the troubles in Northern Ireland. We normally always have hedgecutting and general handyman, painting, joinery type jobs and gardening duties. So if anyone would like to stay in our friendly Bed and Breakfast in Whitehead it is an excellent base for sightseeing.

We are a new family run 28 bed hostel located in the centre of bustling seaside resort Portrush, situated on the picturesque North Antrim coast and close to Dunluce Castle, Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and several good surfing beaches.

Daily tasks will include, cleaning, set up of rooms, socialising with other guests, reception duties including answering the telephone, taking bookings, checking guests in/out. Training will be given in all these areas, though as we are new , we are still learning too.

We are looking for someone with a warm, friendly, outgoing personality who can show initiative and with an acceptable level of english to fulfill the above duties confidently.

We are looking for somebody to start as soon as possible, ideally for a month or more. We also have availability for the rest of the year.

We are a beautiful B&B with 28 rooms in the centre of Belfast.Just 5 minutes walk from the University and 10 minutes from the City hall and city centre. We also have 2 backpacker hostels nearby and always have places available.

We ask you to help at the BnB for 24 hours a week for which we give you free accommodation and breakfast.

For our volunteers we have a room with 3 volunteers. Use of kitchen facilities and of course toilet / shower.

Your English needs to be good enough for assisting with reception.

Around the corner from the B&B there are train and bus stops and a wide range of restaurants and pubs.

I have a small house in a quiet area of BELFAST(UK), near Queens University and Botanic Gardens. Its 20 mins walk to the City centre and a few minutes walk to shops/pubs.

You will receive accommodation and food.
I am a vegetarian but my helper does not need to be.

The help i need can be gardening work, decorating/cleaning/ organizing/veggie cooking /giving me some fully-clothed massage/teaching me some Spanish or French...

It`s a great base to explore the life of the city and the beauty of our lovely countryside (Giants` Causeway and Mourne for example). Also.... you will get a chance to sail on the lovely Strangford Lough (May-early Oct), go for hill walks and enjoy the LOTS of free live music in Belfast! The museums, galleries and parks are free and there are always free cultural events happening in Belfast!

2 houses joined together, one is our home, the other is for airbnb guests on short term stays. All are surrounded by a largish varied garden with organic vegetable planters as well as Fruit trees, camomile lawn, wildlife pond and mini woodland etc.
I am retired but write songs/play guitar and some photography. Eibhlin my wife does aromatherapy. The house is a mile from Killyleagh, a small historic town dominated by Ireland's largest privately owned castle. Good public transport to and from Belfast (18 miles) from Crossgar, 5 miles away (can drive you there). We need help to do some specific projects in the garden In august 2019 if the right kind of person came along, you would need to be strong and sensitive to plants.
The projects are clearing overgrown areas, digging and developing new planted areas, and repairing/rebuilding raised beds. Construction skills would be most welcome. We might add a new wooden building. We always need general help painting and weeding.

Looking for someone or a pair during end of May , June or early July. We have a family home in Newry. We are seasoned travellers and enjoyed a number of house swops all over the world when our children were small. We would be delighted to host travellers who are interested in outdoor gardening 4 hours either morning or afternoon for accommodation, main meals and wifi.(1 week preferred but 10 days max) The work in main will involve digging and fence painting. Walking into town is possible and traveling to both Belfast and Dublin is easy.We have bikes available for exploring locally. Lots of forest and hill walks along side canal and costal paths to explore.

This is a community based hostel/bed and breakfast in the heart of the Mournes in Northern Ireland. It can have up to 31 people staying in it. It serves breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals when booked in advance. We cater for walkers, outdoors enthusiasts etc.

Summary of responsibilities:

1 To meet and greet guests on arrival and show them to their rooms.

2 To collect payment from guests.

3 To assist with breakfasts.

4 To collect keys from guests on departure.

5 To assist with cleaning of rooms after guests leave.

6 To ensure cleanliness is maintained throughout the building.

7 To inform guests about all things local e.g. events happening in the local community this could be discussed with the person in charge.

Helpers would be free to leave from approximately 12/12.30pm each day and return in the evening to meet guests.

We are a family of 4 adults,2 dogs,3 HORSES,and we would be interested in someone who likes horses and could perhaps help us with them - we could take 1- or even 2 people/Couple/Friends to come and live with us for a while. Our son is a film maker and our daughter age 24 is autistic...she is very capable and no physical disabilities at all. She just need some more company; to go swimming, Cycling, walking on the beach, in the local mountains, at the gym etc. Father is an author and works from home. Mother has a small internet business and works part time from home. We live on a farm just outside the town 25 kms from Belfast on the east coast and 120 kms from Dublin - the Mourne mountains can be seen from the house.. Several beaches close by and we often take picnics/walk/ride in the summer..We live in an old untidy 5 bedroomed house and we need help sorting out 'stuff' from our former larger house - old furniture, toys, games, books, paintings which needs to go to the charity shop... more inside
