We do organic beekeeping for living and care for a small walnut plantation. We work together with other (organic) farmes and institions (nature park, zoo, ..)

This year we try to finish plenty of house- and gardening projects with wood and stonewalls.
You can join in with beekeeping or help with gardening, also we plan to build a wintergarden with wooden terrace, swimming pond and also convert a barn/stable into a craftsroom.

We try to keep things simple and enjoy life (hiking, canoeing, organic food, dog, cats, pets, friends, yoga,...)
We are "selfmades" and have skills in gardening, beekeeping, working with wood and other handicraftd and have the right tools and usually a smile in our faces. ;-)

Our helper(s) can stay for 2 weeks minimum or longer, we provide an appartment, food and depending on conditions pocket-money. We live close enough to Vienna and great landscapes.

We speak German, English and some Spanish.

Help with training our 24 huskies and working with kids and young adults in the field of animal assisted therapy, We also do holiday camps for kids and grow our own fruits and vegetables.

We provide free accomodation in your own room, free meals (mainly vegetarian), free WLAN and trips to the area from time to time. You can take days off and visit the cities of Vienna, Prag, Brno and Budapest if you are interested.

In general we prefer long term stayers as it takes some time to get to know the team and work with the dogs. You live here as part of the family in a young social project. So we expect that you take responsibility for the space we are living together in and behave as a good team member to follow our main goal - Keeping the dogs happy!

Maximum stay 10days/2 weeks, for 1 or 2 helpers

I (F, 60) live near the capital of Switzerland, in a small house with a small garden. The location is beautiful: in a small village just out of Berne.

There is always something to do: lots of gardening (mostly weeding and mowing the "lawn"), cleaning... Sometimes hard work like trimming trees, and wood work.

I expect 4-5hrs work per day for 5 days a week and 2 off. Accommodation and all meals will be provided and some sightseeing on my days off IF the work is done.

I work shifts in the call center for roadside assistance. So you may be most often on your own, and also working on your own...but as soon as i have the day off: we work / eat together and sightseeing.

You will have your own bedroom (WiFi).
The kitchen and the bathroom have to be shared.
We may cook and eat together, even if not every day because of my shifts

The train station is only 10 min walk away and the airport is 10 min away (bicycle))

I'm looking for a helpxer (preferably two or a couple) for min. 1 week/max. 2 weeks IN MARCH - APRIL to help with SPRING CLEANING and garden work.

Please note that I don't accept helpxers with dogs, sorry.

HELLO!
I run a dog hotel (for up to 12 4-legged guests at the maximum) in malters, a small town near the beautiful lakeside city of lucerne. The dogs aren't kept in kennels as in most dog boarding centers, but rather share my everyday life in my house and on the grounds (1.5 ha = 3.7 acres), which includes a daily, approx. 3-hour long excursion with the whole pack. Besides that, I run a dog school on the same grounds, teaching natural dogmanship. I have 1 dog of my own, 2 cats, several chickens, and 7 geese.

NECESSARY PROFILE
I am looking for a cheerful person that enjoy lending a hand. Max. stay is 2 weeks, min. 1 week.
Although my helpxer(s) won't do any work in connection with the dogs, they MUST like them because there will always be a few wagging around.

**We are full now until the beginning of October. Of course you can still always try to ask for the time before, sometimes people jump off again!**

**We are especially, but not only, looking for people that are able and willing to stay longer (one season or more) and take over some responsibility in the areas of kitchen and/or service/reception. You don't necessarily have to be a professional! For service/reception only people who speak fluently German. Feel free to contact us for further information.**

We are a Hotel / Seminar house on the Rigi-mountain in the center of Switzerland near Lucerne. We are located at 1300m above sea level, in a beautiful natural landscape of alpine meadows covered in flowers in the summer and snow in the winter.
There is no direct vehicle access to the mountain and all visitors and helpers must make their way up via the Rigi mountain train. However the station “Rigi-Klösterli” is located 3 minutes walk from the hotel.

Hello travelers,

we are Xaver and Carola and Klara (7 years) and Johannes (5 years) and Martin (2 years). We overtook the farm "Biohof Heissbauer" in 2013 from the parents of Xaver and switched from conventional to organic farming. We aim at being good stewards to the land and provide healthy and high quality yield for the people.

Our farm "Heissbauer" is a family farm since many generations with a substantial agricultural land area of 100 hectare. It is foremost a professional organization. Being a traditional crop farm we aim to become a diversified farm producing healthy food for people and connect to our neighbourhood.
We live in simple abundance with preserves from our own land and seasonal, regional mainly vegetarian food on the table. We eat 100% biological food. Our chicken provide us with fresh eggs and once in a while with meat.

Our helpers have tasks mostly in assisting in the vegetable garden and various supportive tasks around the workshop, yard and house, ... more inside

Hi!
We are Thomas (1983) Judith (1987) Klara (2014) and Flora (2016).
We live on a hill with alltogether around 13 hectar organically farmed land.
This includes our neighbourfarm and an old farm which we rent in the moment.
Parts of the land have not been farmed for the last years, which creates a biotop for birds and wild animals.
In this way we host a fox in the forest, a lot of birds in the trees including huntingbirds
and you can watch rabits, deer and woodpeckers from our window.

Our main interest in life is to live close to nature
and to stay in a truthful connection to other people.
Our aim is to build up an appropriate environment for human,
plants and animals, which is worth to live in.

In the moment we grow lots of vegetables and all over we have different fruit- and nuttrees.
Our newest members of the Farm is Martina with her two horses, who lives in the oldest part of the farmbuildings.
Beside them there are five elegant cat ladys and a cock with ... more inside

Right now there are already 14 hens and a rooster, 2 freeland-pigs, 6 bee-hives and 50 sheep (all our animals are old rare breeds). Furthermore there are our 3 kids and one cat. We specialized in sheep-dairy products (you can learn milking and cheese-making) and cultivation and maintenance of old orchards, consisting of apples, pears, plums, cherries, nuts,...
Your housing is in an adapted old camper with a wood stove for colder periods. There is a nice helper bathroom with a shower and seperate toilette in our house.
There are various working possibilities - from gardening, fencing, milking, creating a treedatabase, wood-working,...
