Hello,

Over 9 years we are living here, in what was a very neglected old farm. Since then, we are working to give life that old house, the facilities and the garden and the whole estate of 3 hectares. Our original idea, which is still active and present, is to enable people to live in a natural environment, for little money or exchange for labor or resources. We are lovers and admirers of natural and healthy cultivation vegetables and fruits, also gardening as well as the renovation of the house respecting the principles of healthy living space.
We divided our activities in several categories:
Personal development through the practice of meditation and yoga in the first place as well as therapeutic work with active water, semi-precious stones and plants - and this is what we can offer to you to see, learn and practice;
The another field of activity is gardening through the principles of permaculture (and bio-dynamism) - we are growing vegetables and some fruit and we maintain... more inside

this is a small holding on which we started to build a permaculture site. We planted some 40 fruit trees in 2011 and they are now stated to fruit. We have 2 cats, 2 donkeys, 5 ewes and 1 ram. We are in the process of creating it and there is a lot of work, fun work. I love it but it's not going fast enough. Geoff is a great cook and works inside. I love the outdoor and work outside all year round no matter the weather, then come in for wonderful meals. Our place has 3 bedrooms with their own bathroom each, which makes them comfortable for our friends, family and guests. We live 2 km from the village and it's easy to walk there. the help I need is with fences, building a chicken coop and a garden shed, cutting wood, working on dry walls. The fences for example are no ordinary fences, they are made of sheep fencing in which I weave some sticks vertically which make them stand out in the landscape and in winter they look really great. The weaving has a practical use in that they prevent... more inside

Hi I'm Noel, an English man living in France. I have a large garden now that all the trees have been cut down. The stumps have all been dug out so I am left with an area that needs planting which I need a bit of help with. If it is raining there is always work to be done inside the house.
House is set in a beautiful area of France. There are many walks through the stunning countryside from the house and places of interest in the locality.
Accommodation is comfortable and I have been told I am a good cook. I can cater for vegetarians and smokers smoke outside.
I look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested.I could do with some help from now until the end of August

At 1800m high in the Pyrénées, Angaka is an organisation which offers outdoor activities (hiking, horse riding, musher). We host hikers in yurts, tipies, wooden huts.
For this summer, we need people to help with fixing the huts, cutting wood, preparing the winter season...
We can speak french, english and spanish.

In exchange of a bed in a dorm on a wooden hut and 3 meals a day, we would ask for 4 hours of activity, during 5 days a week. More or less 20 hours of work a week. We could host you for one or two weeks.
We are flexible on the hours of your participation, it depends on the meteo.

From Toulouse, the train gets to the village of Les Cabannes. Then, the place is 16 km far away up in the mountains. We can come and catch you in the train station.

We need some people to help us during the summer season.

See you soon

Angaka team

SOS - We need people immediately - to organise a job lot of industrial shelving! A couple of strong friends would be ideal...

And for general farm tasks.

One person who loves to clean and organise to put this place back into order after too many too busy seasons... would be great too

Generally we ask for a three week stay with an option to stay longer by mutual agreement. But in this instance if you could come now (21 June or in the next few days) one or two intense weeks would work too.

Our place is a beautiful renaissance chateau built of locally fired brick with stone details. It is set in the countryside overlooking a potager (vegetable garden) with antique fruit trees, surrounded by boxwood hedges and century old oak trees, a bamboo grove, a developing orchard, deciduous woodlands, and winding boxwood pathways.

In the field adjacent to the chateau grounds the project of creating a large scale seasonally changing labyrinthine walk was planted in 2006. The hedges,... more inside

outside a village of 120 people, the nearest town is Saverdun(7000people) and it takes 35

Bonjour.

We are Francis and Linda White. We like to think that we are welcoming and accommodating, and we live here with our two dogs a Cocker Spaniel and Weimaraner. They are both enthusiastic and friendly.
This beautiful old house was the former home and office of the local Notaire.
We tend to accommodate helpers in a nice garden room with en-suite facilities, and we provide all meals.
We have a Large Parkland Garden with meadow at the bottom. It was the life's work of the previous owner, however he let it get away from him during the latter years. The grounds could be lovely and productive, but help is needed to get it into manageable proportions.
This year we are hoping to clear a large area of land next to our garden, as it is owned by an elderly gentleman who is no longer able to look after it.
If you think that this is for you, then please get in touch.
We have been asked if we would allow people to camp. This is possible if you bring your own camping equipment, or if you ha... more inside
