We live on a sundrenched acre of land with sweeping views of native bush and the harbour. Super close to Titirangi village with its cafes and bars, supermarket and bus stops, but tucked into the hillside overlooking the rest of the world, you could easily be a million miles from civilisation.
Great location to head north or south for travelling and in your spare time there are amazing black sand surf beach close by Piha & Bethells beach. Fantastic opportunity to explore the Waitakere Ranges - with plenty of bush walks and waterfalls and spectacular scenery very close by.

4mins drive from Titirangi Village (Cafe, supermarket, restaurants etc)

35minute drive to Auckland City. Limited public transport - but bus stop at the end of the road, train station in New Lynn. Connections from New Lynn to central Auckland city & airport etc.

Around 10-15mins to the mall (Lynn mall) cinemas etc.

We're after someone/someones to help with restoring the native bush at the fringes of the... more inside

Hi there,

It's that time of year when I'm looking for a helper to help over the lambing period (August).

Our current helper leaves tomorrow, leaving me in the middle of lambing without help!

I have 16 lambs to feed, and more coming in daily.

If you can come this week, for a couple of weeks, I'll really appreciate it!

From now through August we will have over 2000 lambs born!

I'll require help feeding the baby lambs, and with the kids.

My Mum often looks after the kids, Bella goes to childcare twice a week, and they're 50/50 with their Dad's, so you will get plenty of opportunities to come out on the farm, go on walks, ride the horses and enjoy the serenity.

We are a traditional New Zealand farming family, been here for generations (5th up and coming).

Our extended family, mainly breed Sheep and Cattle (for wool & meat). We also rear and fatten dairy calves, on 2000 acres.

Other animals include - Horses/Ponies, Dogs, Wild Goats, Peacocks, Turkeys, ... more inside

We are a sheep and horse farm in beautiful Clevedon in East Auckland. In the summer we play polo, in winter we run sheep. The photos show the driveway to the farm, and the 'Hacienda' helper accommodation which looks over the farm. Most of our helpers do general farmwork - helping with fencing, tidying up after floods, weeding, watering etc. Our helpers work with Barry, our farm manager. We do not normally cook for our helpers, but either provide food (for four hours work) or provide money for food if you like to buy yourselves. Many of our helpers choose to work full days, then take advantage of our proximity to attractions (the Coromandel, Waiheke, Auckland etc) to travel from here. In winter we have tree planting and labouring work.

Update: Hi, we currently have NO availability, sorry.

Hello HelpX's,

We live in a beautiful 1 acre waterfront property with our two sons, who are 2 and 6 years old.

The house has a seperate and modern apartment with lounge (with fold out couch), bedroom (with double bed), bathroom, kitchenette. The kitchenette includes fridge, microwave, toaster, blender and cooking hotplates. You can hear the waves from your bedroom and have free internet (by reliable cable NOT wifi).

Your unit is seperate from our house and has a seperate private entrance. Even though we are a welcoming and friendly bunch there may be more privacy than many other helpx arrangements.

This is thus better suited for people travelling together and keeping each other company (min 2 persons).

Suited for non smokers only as the property is smoking free, inside and out.

We live on the edge of the Waitakere Hills and are 30 minute drive (non rush hour by car) from city and 35 mins from Piha and o... more inside

Quiet lifestyle block in a semi-rural location, 35 km from Auckland Airport, 15 km from Papakura, and 750 meters from the village of Hunua. On route to the Coromandal.

The property is quiet and tranquil, watch and listen to the native birds in a peaceful and stunning location. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area, Hunua Falls, Hunua Regional Park etc

We are looking for someone who can help us to do some gardening, it's mostly weeding, pruning, sweeping leaves. In bad weather maybe some housework, early spring cleaning and general chores, as we don't have time to handle it.
We are asking for 3 hours per day, in return we offer accommodation, breakfast, an evening meal, unlimited WiFi, TV, Sky TV, kitchen & laundry facilities.

Anthony and I have lived in Hunua for the past 4 years. We love meeting and greeting folk from all walks of life. We would love to share our home with you while you are exploring our beautiful country.

Life is for the livin... more inside

We live in an early NZ villa set in a beautiful valley 1 hour north of Auckland. Although some areas of the villa are still being renovated our home is welcoming with a mix of the old and modern style living. Pets include a cat and dog, two horses and a foal, chickens, duck, goats and also run a few sheep; currently bottle feeding a orphan lamb. We have two orchards that includes stone and pip fruit trees and olives.

Comfortable accommodation, internet access and horse riding (for experienced riders) is what we offer in return for your enthusiastic, willing, helping hands.

Looking for help for around the house and property, to cook meals, do some planting, property maintenance, and other varied work. We are interested in what skills each individual has to offer and look for ways to accommodate these.

We work on the basis of 4 hours per day, plus cooking the evening meal. Everyone helps themselves to breakfast and generally lunch, though we do have a cooked meal togethe... more inside

Hi we are currently looking for a mature couple to help out in September 2019 from the 4th (or approximate) to the 26th. Ours is a medium sized property 50 minutes from the centre of Auckland City and 40 minutes from the airport. The property shares one kilometre of boundary with the Waikato River. There are dogs, cattle, and a flock of sheep. Twenty six hectares are in bush and wetlands and are protected by a QEII covenant. There is a variety of farming and conservation activities to become involved in. Tasks include weeding and/ or planting of native trees, care of dogs and cattle, and cleaning around and in the house and gardens. Chemicals are sometimes used to control weeds. There are a number of family members living on the property. Accommodation is currently in the main house. We also have a swimming pool for the summer months. You will need to have a driverís license
