Hello, I am Diane and this is my place!

I live on a peninsula situated the harbor of Tauranga where i grow non-organic flowers and foliage for the commercial flower industry. It is rewarding work, plenty of fresh air and nature.

I have 2 rooms available, with their own shared lounge (plus TV) and bathroom. It is a modern house, with unique styling, large open plan lounge and dining area. Plus 2 decks, one small deck and a large one that is kitted out with BBQ, lighting, power and great views.

There are plenty of public parks around, one right across the road, a large nature park with its own beach only 200m (220 yard) walk and another with a leisure wharf about 500m (550 yards) down the road.

About 2.5km (1.5 miles) away, at the start of the road there is an Asian fusion restaurant and pub which also has a small horse trekking business. The city of Tauranga is only about a 15km (9 mile) drive away, with the famous Mt Maunganui and its white sandy beaches and surf only a... more inside

We have a spare room and a big beautiful garden with a swimming pool and spa. From time to time we are looking for some helpx'ers to help us keep the garden in check.

Our spare room has a large kingsize bed and we have a separate bathroom for you to use. In exchange for 4 hours work per day per person, we are more than happy to feed you and let you stay for free, swim in the pool etc. While we are not vegetarian, we often eat vegetarian meals so that is no problem. While we would prefer females, we will consider a male and female couple based on your reviews and meeting you. Please dont apply if you have no reviews. We are fairly close to town and the bus is available but if you have a car, it will be easier.

We live on a semi rural property in the beautiful Bay of Plenty in Tauranga, with large gardens, tennis court and swimming pool. There is a large area of native bush planted and another area we need to clear so we can continue our native planting. We have lived on the property for 20 years and its time for some clearing and maintenance on some parts of property. We also are keen to create some new paths down to the bottom of the section.
As well there will always be a selection of other jobs that need to be done around the house.
We love meeting new people and enjoy hosting. Our family are grown up now and so we have a large empty house with plenty of room for guests.
Mark is 63, a pharmacist, and a very active person who loves cycling and being outdoors. I am 56 and enjoying our new semi retirement, being in the garden, painting, yoga, spending time with our grandchildren and friends, and we both enjoy travelling.
We have a beautiful golden retriever dog called Peggy who is pa... more inside

I live in a house situated on an organic kiwifruit orchard. There are two double bedrooms available with a shared bathroom between them. The house is 7kms from Waihi and 15 minutes from Waihi Beach. Whangamata and Tauranga are each about an hour away. Close to the beautiful Karangahape Gorge with many walking and cycling tracks in the area.

Animal lovers will find 2 cats, some free range chickens and three ducks to keep them company.

The house needs some minor maintenance and if you enjoy using a paintbrush and/or like gardening that would be magical. Help with chopping firewood would also be appreciated.

Vegetarian meals are provided and your afternoons and weekends are free to explore the beautiful beaches and walks in the area.

There is wifi reception but data needs to be managed so as not to exceed the limits.

This is for my friends Dave and Pauline. They are wanting an experienced horse woman to ride and help them get their Hunters ready for the up-coming Hunt Season beginning in April. There will be daily riding over a large sheep, beef and deer farm. And of course grooming, feeding etc and other chores associated on a horse property.
You would have your own room in their house, share their amenities and eat with them. Their farm is 20kms south of Rotorua. There are Hot pools, Golf Course, Waiotapu Wonderland, mountain bike tracks and much more nearby.
