We are a couple with a 11 year old son & a little boy (14 months).
We live in Maleny (Sunshine Coast Hinterland) -1 hour drive to Noosa, 1hr 10min to Brisbane airport.
Maleny is a lovely green area in the hills surrounding the Sunshine Coast. The people in Maleny are very friendly retired, eco, artistic, farming and alternative types.
Our house is walking distance to town. The town is cute with lovely unique shops, art galleries and grocery stores. There is a bus stop which can take you to Landsborough bus and train station where you can connect to go to the beach or Brisbane or anywhere else on the Sunshine Coast if you don't have your own transport.
We would like some helpers to come and help us mostly with the toddler and if there is enough time to do cleaning & gardening like mowing & weeding.
We have wifi. You will have your own room with a queen sized bed & share a bathroom with the 11yo.
We have had help x helpers stay with us a few times and they have always had ... more inside

We have a beautiful 12 acre property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland on top of a hill with views to the coast.

Our family is us (Ginger and Glen), we have 2 kids and lots of animals including dogs, chooks, and sheep.

On our property we have a coffee plantation and some shade sheds with vanilla beans growing.

Glen and I work full time, so need a bit of help with picking coffee, weeding, work with the vines in the vanillary, gardening and general farm work. There is lots to do!

Our accommodation is in our lovely caravan and we will supply meals for you in exchange for, four hours of work each person per day for 5 days of the week.

Unfortunately we are unable to take smokers on our property.

We look forward to hearing about your home country, travels and culture as my husband and I have traveled extensively ourselves.
We value honesty, hard work, trust and tolerance.

We are a middle-aged couple recently moved to Cairns. We have bought an old house which we are slowly renovating.
We are offering free accommodation and basic breakfast in return for 3 hours work per day. You will prepare your own breakfast.
We don't have a minimum or maximum amount of time you can stay, though we aim for 1-2 weeks. You are welcome to leave at any time, as you feel. We can ask you to leave any time too.

The renovation work will vary; e.g. painting, scraping, floor sanding, general labouring with whatever is going on. When there is no renovation there is plenty of yard work, weeding, mowing, edging, as well as general housework.
We live 14km south of the city. Our house is about 200m from a bus stop and exactly one kilometre to the local shopping centre.
We are easy going people who love music [blues, dubstep, electroswing, reggae, stoner rock], motorbikes and animals. John and I are both Wildlife Rescuers and are vaccinated to work with bats and flying foxe... more inside
