It's a large 3-story house with over 10,000 sq. meters backing onto the national reserve. It has fruit trees which are all organic.the fruit is consumed by the residents and helpers. The property overlooks the beautiful valley with a partial view of the sea and it's only 15-20-min drive to the city center. I need a bit of help maintaining the house and the surrounding grounds. I am multi-skilled so you can live, learn, and options are available to earn as well. All this will be explained on the interview prior to comencement. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best contact me via E-mail or mobile number. Kind regards Chris

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, 3 year old boy and a 10 month old girl, and live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom house with a large yard about 30 minutes north of Brisbane CBD and 30 minutes from the airport. I have recently started a small vegetable patch and would love to expand it and grow our own veggies

Looking for help from September on wards with day to day household chores including cooking, cleaning, light gardening and childminding. We want to expand our veggie patch and would like some help to pull out weeds to clear some space. We will tailor the work to suit what you are good at and the hours are flexible. Would suit someone after work that is not too strenuous, the most important thing is that you are patient and willing to help where needed. A good sense of humor is also essential with the kids!

We live 30 mins north of Brisbane city and 1 hour south of the Sunshine coast so you will be in close proximity to many local ... more inside

My house [small solar power station] is less than 100 metres from the sandy beach shown in the photograph below, stretching 7km up to the Daintree River mouth. Wonga Beach is a small community located between rainforest covered hills and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

The nearby Daintree rainforest is one of the oldest tropical rain forests in the world and home to the amazing cassowary. The Daintree River great for seeing crocodiles at this time of year and I would be happy to ensure you make a trip to see them on one of the best crocodile/wildlife tour boats.

Wonga Beach is about 90 km north of Cairns, 30 km north of Port Douglas and about 50 km south of Cape Tribulation.

If you do not have a car the cheapest way for you to get here is the "Transnorth" bus service leaving Cairns Central at 7 a.m. (near Platform 1, approach via Bunda Street) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Book on line selecting the coastal route to Cooktown. There are also shuttle buses from Ca... more inside

We are a new accommodation facility set in the tranquil rain forest countryside known as Pomona. We are nestled only 20 minutes from Noosa and the wonderful beaches with some of the best views, walking tracks, and mountains to climb in the region . Our property is a relaxed environment with various activities that requires daily/weekly attention. From feeding the ducks and chickens and letting out and putting away each day to gardening and pruning and maybe some supervised horse feeding each day.
We do not have any children to look after! Ideally we would prefer people with traveling partners (Friends or couples, ) as we feel that they are better suited to our type of place and keep each other company.(We would also like that at least one can understand and speak some basic English). Please note, email us your HelpX details before calling.
But lets not forget our motto:
Eat when you are Hungry,
Sleep when you are tired and
Drink when you are thirsty!
We hope to hear from... more inside

Due to John having a knee replacement, we are currently not taking on any helpers until late March. We do not have smokers. We are always open to offers of help. We have available a neat 3 bedroom fibro house on another part of our property, also a small caravan where we live, for when there is someone or a couple who prefer to be closer and / or do not drive. There is Telstra reception in the area for mobiles, and wi fi at the main house to check on emails etc. Not for watching movies etc as we do not have a large download as it is too expensive for us. We own a small beef cattle farm,in the hills , elevation 700 meters, 1 hour south west of Ingham, which we also produce hay for our livestock. We breed our own cattle to sell for slaughter. We are 2 1/2 hours n/w of Townsville and about 4 1/2 hours s/w of Cairns. We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on sunny Moreton Island. We are happy to accept travellers and have had some wonderful experiences with wwoofers already. We offer accommodation and food in exchange for work.

Duties include, building water infrastructure, making oyster bags, culling and sorting Oysters, general farm hand on the land base and grading of oyster. A working day normally starts at 8am and finishes around 2pm generally and breaks for morning tea of course. Most times on a Sunday we have to harvest oysters ready for work on Monday, but this only takes about 1 hour

Moreton Island is remote even though close to Brisbane, we have to generate our own power via solar and also collect our own rain water. If you love nature, hiking, reading or taking photos, you will love it here.

Accommodation is a caravan on site and a studio apartment. First in best dressed for that one.
We supply food which is generally meat based and eaten with the family, e... more inside
