We would like to meet a couple who would like to do some fence painting, erect some shelving in the workshop and enjoy some light gardening work. We have a well stocked garden tool shed and about every tool you would need. Also it would be a bonus if you are interested in cooking in a well stocked kitchen and pantry.

Besides the garden I do have a well equipped engineering workshop capable of handling metal working and wood working. I have, in hand, a 200 year old pitch pine Welsh dresser that is half restored and needs some tender love and care all the rubbing down has been completed! Also I restore WWII workshop machinery and would love some help to finish a universal milling machine. Also on the waiting list is a 3.0 metre vertical drilling machine

We now seem to be in better health but we do need some assistance in maintaining the garden and outbuildings. We would prefer to take on a male/female couple who would enjoy our company as well as their own!

We live in a very... more inside

Carpenter required immediately.

We have just moved to the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have a lovely cottage and 24 acres of land (including hillside and a small campsite).

We are a small family with a gorgeous springer spaniel dog. Since we have just moved we need help around the house and land for a few weeks or a few months, depending on the person.

The majority of the work would be boxing in pipes and generally helping sort out the house.

Couples (or friends sharing a room) welcome as one could help paint and help with the vegetable garden etc, and the other could help more with DIY.

You would be part of the family and we would help you learn English (if thatís what you wanted to do). You would have your own room.

We are looking for someone who is friendly flexible and easy to get along with. Maybe into music or the environment (as we are into both) but itís not essential.

Findon is 30 minutes drive from Brighton and 10 minutes from Worthin... more inside

Hello!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS for 2020. Couples welcome too.

We are a super friendly, well run hostel in the gorgeous location of Fort William, known as the adventure capital of the UK.

We`ve been preparing and renovating our hostel with new showers, new carpets and fresh decoration and we are looking forward to a new season.

You will be doing Cleaning and Laundry, perhaps some Reception and any other general hostel work that ensures the hostel is sparkling and the guests are made to feel welcome.

We would love to hear from any good workers out there who are happy to muck in and do whatever is needed to make this hostel a wonderful place to be.

We ask for up to 2-3 hours per person per day. In return for your help you are provided with: Bed and breakfast (not cooked), laundry facilities and free wifi. You will get at least one day off a week. You will also have access to our self-catering kitchen. WE WOULD LIKE A COMMITMENT OF AROUND 3 OR 4 WEEKS OR MORE so... more inside

We invite you to volunteer and participate in creating a unique, beautiful, and fascinating experience...

Every summer since 1990, our trustees (all volunteers) and many other volunteers from all walks of life come together and create something truly inspiring - and we would like you to be part of that!

We encourage people who like working hard and having fun to get involved - activities include;
Erecting tents, marquees, yurts, domes and other structures;

Skilled and semiskilled help needed in a variety of task in the house garden and on house repairs and maintenance.
Seasonal work helping in our BnB business, as well as with the garden. A small payment will be made for this work

Some work will be at my daughters just outside the village. This year we have an extra project as we have just bought an adjacent property and are converting into BnB accomodation so wood work skills would be extra handy.

We have been having volunteers mainly Woofers for the past 20 years but now use HelpX as we do less organic growing than before.
The volunteers live in a wood stove heated chalet in the garden which gives them privacy and independence, all food will be provided , some will be cooked and eaten with the family, but some of the time volunteers will be expected to cook for themselves.
Ullapool is an interesting place to be, plenty of music and social activity.
