I live in a pretty village at the foot of the Alpilles, with a nice garden and a view of the hills. And cities like Saint Remy de Provence or Salon de Provence are 15/20 km away, the nearest sea is 35 km! And the beach I prefer is 1 hour drive.
There are many walks and nice excursions to do here.

I need help:
- Paint and coatings in my home, walls and ceilings
- Take care of organic permaculture garden, maintain, sow, plant, etc ... also help me to go for straw or manure for example
- Possibly ask tiling if you really have the skills.

I live part-time with my 5 year old daughter, and she will certainly want to play with you, and it can be a help for me when I have some work to do.

So, if you feel like it, I will gladly accept your help.
I also tell you that we eat vegetarian.

See you soon
Marie Hélène

We are an English family living on a former Breton cider farm set in 18 hectares, which is now our home with 5 gites for summer visitors.
We have 2 dogs.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning beaches (20 beaches within 30 minutes of our home) as well as being 45 minutes away from the cities of Brest and Quimper.
We aim to offer our guests a slower pace, with time and opportunities to appreciate the simpler things in life.
In the grounds we have a kitchen garden, a swimming pool, a sandpit, various children's hideaways, a fairy glade and a small wood so there's plenty of opportunity for outdoor activity especially in the garde! We also need help with housekeeping and laundry and welcome helpers who are enthusiastic and easy going and enjoy working as part of a team.
At various times of the year we need help preparing the gîtes for our visitors - painting, repairs and cleaning, strimming, brush cutting, gardening and mowing. During the peak season weekends ... more inside

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HELPERS...
HELP NEEDED THE 3 FIRST WEEKS OF JUNE !

After 3 years of nomadic family life on the roads of the world and a dozen experiences as HelpX volunteers in several countries, we will welcome you with great pleasure, far from the hustle and bustle of modern life!

Back in our pretty farm dauphinoise nineteenth, we undertook to best grant our life with nature. First of all, we want to establish a self-sufficient and energetically autonomous micro-farm based on ideas, principles and experiments based on the observation of natural mechanisms. Our second goal is to move towards zero waste, to prioritize the upgrading and recycling of materials. Third step of our project: to create, support and encourage synergy in a solidarity and resilient community open to the world. Although we still have a lot to learn, we will be happy to share our experiences with you.

Arrived from trip in April 2018 we have since relaunched the organic vegetable garden and henho... more inside

My name is Thierry, I am the owner of an old farm of the 19th century that I renovate since 2001. I opened 4 guest rooms in 2004. Furthermore, I am a former chef and I also make dinners for my guests on request.
I recently opened a large reception hall for events in an old barn, I occasionally receive artists, and organize weddings.
I would like to receive volunteers to help me renovate an old gate, help me finish the decoration of the bar, help me maintain the garden for weddings, and help me with wood for the winter.
The region of the Gorges of Aveyron is very interesting to visit. There are many castles and medieval villages.

Hi,
I'm located in Correze, in a small village between Tulle and Egletons. I grow vegetables since 2 years, I cultivate nearly 2000m² and have a greenhouse and an orchard of apple trees. I'm going to the market of the next city all sunday morning to sell my products. If you want to stay a few days or a couple of weeks to discover the beautiful region of Correze and help to grow vegetables, I'll be happy to welcome you.

Hi Helpers!

So glad you came across my listing!

Would you like to come and stay in a beautiful French vineyard home?

I am looking for someone with plumbing skills and tiling/decorating skills to refit 4 small shower rooms 2.5m x 2.5m. All the plumbing is in place, so it is a matter of taking out the old and replacing in the same position, tile floor and walls. Any time now until October.

Also, I would love a pizza oven in the garden, maybe someone out there would like to come and make one for me!

There are always odd jobs to be done, so if you have carpentry, painting and decorating or repairing stone walls skills and you would like to stay I can always find you something to do. Just get in touch.

A bit about us:-

We are a family home located in a vineyard surrounded by rolling vines in the most beautiful part of South West France. From time to time we also need help with maintenance in the garden, in the house and when we have guests. We are 30 mins away fr... more inside

Hello :) I'm a mom of two wonderful twin babies...I live alone with them in my little house, 5 minutes from a nice atlantic coast city called La Rochelle. I'm looking for helpers, because life alone with 2 young babies is sometimes hard...I just need someone 2-3 hours per day, mostly between noon and 2pm, and between 6 and 8pm...just to keep an eye on the babies while I take my shower, to cook if I didn't have the time to do it, same thing for dishwashing and house keeping... We will work out the schedule together, it will depend on my needs and your activities during your free time... you can be lodged but not fed, I have a room for you. and you are free to do whatever you like all along your stay, as long as you are not noisy from 8pm as the babies need calm ... I prefer if you stay at least 2 weeks, but you can contact me even if it's just for one week...or several months ;) I speak english, and just a little bit spanish. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want more information ... more inside

Seven years ago I was a marketing student in Spain. Depressed and extremely unconfident about myself, an amazing and horrifying experience took place in my life, taking away from me everything. No more hope, no more dreams, no more sense, no more life.

And then, Life came in. With all its Magic, with all its Love.

I quit my studies, came to France, and travelled for a couple of years around Europe and Asia, following an inner force that guided me towards a more human and nature loving existence. People, permaculture, biointensive gardening, yoga, meditation, healthy food, music, all came into me with such an obvious and important place in what started to become a happy, simple, rich and meaningful path.

Two years ago I bought 1 hectare of magic land, and started to create a food forest. Since march 2017, I have 3 more hectares in which I'm setting a biointensive garden and a food forest combined with a miniature cob village specially created to connect children, but not o... more inside

We are restoring a fabulous castle with 365 windows that still badly need TLC : putty, linseed oil, varnish... April, May, June, September, October are usually fine. July and August are not a time when works can be done at the chateau as visitors are around.
We would be very glad to welcome one or two people who are fond of old places and heritage. There are lots of other things that need doing as well. If you like refurbishing, if you are good at clearing up, carpentering, plumbering or gardening... you'll have lots to keep you busy !
We live in the South West of France, the Dordogne, in an area where there is lots to visit and enjoy.
We don't actually live in the chateau (so there is some travelling involved) but in town which is nice because Périgueux is a lovely little city right in the center of the Dordogne.
You will be able to share our family life with our teenage daughter. We often have our children and grand-children during the holidays.
We speak both French & En... more inside
