We are a family living in Tutukaka. Children are 7, 5 and 3 years old; we are homeschooling, so they don't go to school. David, who is from Glasgow (Scotland), works full time in Whangarei and Silvia, from Madrid, is a full time mum. Silvia lived in Argentina for a while and enjoys drinking mate daily. We are looking for somebody or a couple who is from a Spanish speaking country as my children are bilingual: We'd like you to speak to our children in Spanish only. If you'd like to learn English, David would be happy to talk to you in English in the evenings. We'd like you to help us with the children in their daily activities: reading books to them, going for nature walks, playing cards and board games, origami, Lego... Basically playing with them and engage with them. Children don't watch TV or play with video games: they are screen free and adults in the house don't use their screens in front of the children to set an example. There would also be some housework to do and a little ... more inside

We are a family of 5 with 3 children and we live in rural Bay of Islands on 12 acres of land. Half is native bush and kiwis abound! We have established vege gardens and an orchard and live in our adobe house we built with the help of wwoofers and helpx about 5 years ago. Our interests include healthy living, alternative therapies and anything to do with the water. We are originally from the UK, so English is our first language, but Kat also speaks Italian, some German and a little French.
We live about 20 minutes from the coast and enjoy sailing, surfing and camping locally when we can. It would be useful if you had your own transport to make the most of the beautiful area that we live in.
We welcome mature WOOFers to come and help with our projects and work normally involves helping with our vege gardens, building and restoration work.

We ask for the recommended 4-5 hours per day in exchange for accommodation and plenty of healthy food. We have a tree house for you to stay i... more inside

We have a beautiful 1 acre lifestyle block in historic Waimate North, about 15 minutes from Kerikeri. Ideally, you'll want your own transport.(no buses out here! :-)

We are christians in our beliefs, values and lifestyle choices so we try to walk our talk and treat others as we would have them treat us.

My husband works on the dairy farm down the road and I am a jazz pianist and singer. I teach piano from here and go to schools a couple of days a week as well.

We need help with some projects around the property including getting the vegetable garden ready for spring planting, digging a path, and a possible building project.
So we're looking for someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and might know a bit about building basic structures. We ask for 3 hours of work per day (preferably morning so you can go exploring in the afternoon) and Sundays are our day of rest.

In return we will provide free accommodation, wifi internet and TV. You would be staying in ... more inside

We are looking for cheerful and enthusiastic helpers who are happy to work 4 hours a day as well as help with the dishes after dinner!

In return we will provide a bed, three meals and invite you to join in our daily lives.

We are a family of four. (Titouan (9yrs), Maris (16yrs), Nova (18yrs) and Autumn (the Mum). We don't all live at this house at the same time, the children have every second week at this house. So some weeks are busy and there is a quiet week.
We also have two flatmates. So if you like a big social house then you will be happy.

We all (Mum, kids and flatemates) surf so we are often at the beach after work and on weekends. You will always be invited to join! We like music, food, surfing, being social and spending time outside.

Autumn is a school teacher and principal of the nearby country school

French speakers are especially welcome because the family is traveling to France next year. So having French speakers would be really useful.
