We're a young couple (30-24) living on a relatively self sufficient lifestyle block.
We have a mixed variety of animal which include pigs, cows, sheep, dogs and chickens.
It is a very large house we live in which we often have people stay while working in the local vineyards.
We enjoy camping, hunting and fishing which we do as often as time permits us.
Main tasks we need help with are feeding animals, doing firewood, gardening and keeping the house clean.
Looking for someone as soon as possible.

I brew Kombucha and make preserves for the local Farmers Market. As a potter and a painter I always have interesting projects on the go.
We'd love some help to build a stone wall and also have various building projects needing attention on the property.
Ben is a surfer and always keen to show off our local coastlines and chase waves.
We eat really well, good healthy food is a priority for us!

I would be keen for a couple, preferably with own vehicle, for about 3 days to do some basic gardening.

We are a busy working sheep and beef hill country farm in Martinborough, 5km from town. I require some help in garden and possibly some basic work on the farm. A chef by trade, I enjoy preparing great meals so be assured that the food will be of a high standard. We eat our own meat and have the beginnings of a great vegetable garden. Shaun is well travelled so would enjoy meeting people from other cultures. My 15 y.o son would also benefit from this association. We are relaxed people and can provide lovely accommodation with own bathroom and lounge if you want to chill out. Our local area is a sought after tourism area with excellent local vineyards and wonderful scenery. In our spare time (!) we enjoy jetboating, fishing and socialising.

Kia ora,
we are a Maori/Dutch family of 5, situated in a small rural/coastal township of Otaki. Our property is amongst a small native forest, with views over the Tararua ranges.
We are a busy family so we would appreciate help with outdoor tasks such as tree pruning, mowing, and the odd painting, and general household chores.
We are a trilingual household so if you are looking for an experience amongst Maori language and culture, or Dutch, you are definitely in the right place :)
We can offer 1-2 persons full board in exchange for 4-5hrs work a day. You will have your own room amongst a friendly family. We are within close proximity to beach, forests, rivers, and good retail stores! And we are working towards an organic approach, and have our own chickens to provide fresh produce. We look forward to meeting you, ma te wa ;)

We live in a 100 year old house with fabulous views over the sea. There's a single room available and sometimes a double. The ocean here is good for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing depending on the weather and time of year. There is one very friendly cat on the property.

The population is 1600 people and Paekakariki is about 3/4 an hour north of Wellington by train or car. I'm about 3 minutes from the train and parking is free.

Nearby is the newly opened Paekakariki to Pukerua Bay walkway, Te Ara o Whareroa/ Queen Elizabeth Park Cycleway and lots of local outdoor activities. Please ask if you have any questions - we can provide lots of details. We also have lots of information about travelling in NZ.

The tasks would be in the garden, house painting, and simple carpentry jobs.

We have a 10 acre property with olive grove, nut orchard and rambling gardens. A stream meanders through the front of the property and we have a small lake complete with drawbridge and dinghy. We have two cats, Molly & Tinkerbell, three cows and 9 chickens.

We are 5 mins north of Otaki in beautiful Manakau. Wellington is a 60min drive or train ride away with a commuter train leaving Otaki at 7:15am every weekday and returning at 6:20pm.

In exchange for 4 - 5 hours work a day we will provide you with accommodation & meals. We are looking for helpers who can help us with odd jobs, general gardening, grounds maintenance, painting, waterblasting, and possibly some cooking and cleaning. No special knowledge necessary, just a willingness to get involved!

Your accommodation is a large bedroom with king bed and ensuite (pictured below) and you will have the use of a large separate lounge with open fire, sky TV, DVD player etc.

We prefer couples who are non-smokers.
