Nestled in the foothills of Kinglake National Park sits the Moon Spoon ranch, every evolving into our dream property for our young family of 4. We have built a rammed earth, solar passive home that backs onto endless pristine national park loaded with native flora and fauna.
Our patch of paradise began 6 year ago when we moved into a W class tram, which is now the self-contained accommodation that we offer to you. The tram is private from the house and has 3 carriages: bedroom, lounge and kitchen with an outdoor bathroom. It can accommodate up to 2 guests. Our property is remote, so your own vehicle would be helpful however not essential as there is a train station 20 mins away. There are loads of bush walks and an alternative market nearby on Saturday mornings.
We are establishing around 50 fruit trees, a big veggie patch, have chickens and a dog. We need some help with gardening, cleaning and general maintenance.

I have a small warmblood stud and training facility. I break in and train warmbloods for dressage and show jumping. I would love someone to help with general help around the farm and garden. It is a great chance to spend some time around beautiful horses enjoy the countryside, have a swim in the pool and generally enjoy a small part of Australia.
We are only 45 minutes by train to Melbourne, close to wine regions and in a real country area, not far from Melbourne airport.

We are looking for someone to help out around our busy home in exchange for food and accommodation. We have 2 gorgeous boys aged 4 and 6 yrs, 2 small dogs and 2 cows. We are renovating our house and working on the garden, so there is always something to do. We both run our own businesses so we may need you to look after the boys at times, or help with work in the garden, or if you have the skills to help with work on the house. You will have your own bedroom but will need to share a bathroom and toilet at least in the short term. We live around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, accessible by public bus, in hilly, green South Gippsland. Experience working with young children is preferable, but if you have the right personality and skills, experience is not essential. Strictly NO SMOKERS. No drugs or excessive alcohol. Free WiFi access so long as download sizes are reasonable. We are happy to do bus/train pick ups. We live around 40 minutes drive from Phillip Island & other beautiful beaches,... more inside

This listing is for two separate properties, one in St Kilda West and one in Somers, The Mornington Peninsula.(70mins drive from Melbourne).

At the moment, I need help in Somers and not in St KIlda.

Both properties have a comfortable, good sized, QS bedroom for Helpxers. Both properties have internet and all mod cons.

1. Somers, The Mornington Peninsula. (photos below. Interiors to follow).

This is a 3 bedroom (2 bathroom) beach house, 5 minutes walk to a lovely safe, clean, sandy swimming beach in the small coastal town of Somers on The Mornington Peninsula.

This is a residential area, however The Mornington Peninsula is an all seasons destination for holiday makers in search of both calm Bay beaches and wild, surf. Plus there's great hiking, fabulous local food and award winning wine (mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay).

There is a train from Melbourne to Frankston, change for Bittern or Hastings and there is also a bus from Frankston to Somers. I am happy ... more inside

On the edge of Strathbogie township, I care for chooks, a beautiful garden and many trees (exotic, native, fruit and nut). Only 2hrs. North of Melbourne, Echidnas reside and Koalas often visit. This granite country Is very peaceful with spectacular views and night sky.

Currently weeding the vegie garden and trees, planting and transplanting, mulching and painting are some of the tasks ... more to choose from. Daily work is 3-4 hours. There’s often local activities to join in, beautiful forest and swimming holes nearby. Mt. Wombat is 5 minutes away and bushwalking in the area is a must-do.

I enjoy spending time with people and also time to myself. Good food, good fun, creative expression and meaningful connection are important to me.
Comfortable accommodation in house or bungalow (see photo)… non-smokers please … children most welcome. Meals are shared and local/organic, mostly vegetarian.

We are a young couple who live on a farm on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We are surrounded by National Park and close to beautiful beaches and many tourist attractions.

We have three girls, 7, 4 & 2. We are ideally looking for a couple (or maybe one person who can do both roles) to help us out with caring for the girls and completing odd jobs around the farm. Ideally the au pair would take care of the girls independently on the days I work and will work along side me running the house together on the days I am home. The farm hand would work independently or with my husband doing manual work on the farm (cattle farm).

We are looking for a couple who are non smokers, healthy and active who present well. We would like people who are kind, caring, thoughtful, self motivated and hard working. We are very outgoing and adventurous and this position would suit people who are keen on the outdoors and adventure. There is a 3 bedroom cottage that is available for your accommodat... more inside
