We are a family of 5 who live in 'The Creek House' on a scenic rural property with three other houses, and we're hoping to become a small homeschooling community, although we are not there yet. Our kids are 4, 2 and a baby. Some of our interests are: growing food, native bush regeneration, learning to home educate our children, aware parenting, self development, and compassionate communication.

We regularly host volunteers who help us with gardening, watering, tree planting, land care, household help, child care, and lots of other projects. If you have marketing skills, we'd also be interested to see if you could help us develop a local market for our native fruit jam :)

We`re in the beautiful Numinbah Valley near the Gold Coast, 35 minutes drive from Nerang train station, and 35 minutes from Murwillumbah bus station. The property is very scenic, in a valley between two national parks, with dams, a creek, a waterhole for swimming and lots of wildlife. We are about 2km from the... more inside

Hey there!! We are a young family living in the beautiful Noosa Hinterland of Kin Kin. We homeschool our daughters aged 4 & 7. Our property has had some work done as we have just added the addition of a natural swimming pool so our gardens have been neglected for a while. We are looking to host a single person or couple in our beautifully renovated vintage caravan (that we travelled Australia in) plus meals in exchange for help around the house/garden. We are looking to exchange this for 5 hours of work per day with a max of a week stay.
You must be able to work with and without supervision and be happy to be around children.
Kin kin has many beautiful trails to explore and a lovely cafe plus we have yoga and fitness classes in the community during the week. Kin Kin is a 35 min drive from Noosa, 30 mins to cooroy and 15min to Pomona.

We own and run a small lime orchard, 1500+ trees in the fabulous Fraser Coast area.

We are focused on biological / biodynamic farming methods, concentrating on soil health and biology to gain better nutrition levels in the trees and fruit.

We love our two dogs, cat, horses, cows and chooks and when we get time enjoy growing our own veggies and herbs and some fruits.

We are looking for people to stay with us, share stories, cultures and a joke or two (your accommodation will be a two room self contained unit) enjoy meals with us and in exchange join us in doing stuff around the farm (such as picking, pruning, mulching irrigation and helping out with the animals, garden beds, general farm maintenance and tidy up) for 4 - 5 hours a day 5 days a week.

Two people traveling together work well for us.

We generally look for 2 week stays with longer stays negotiated once we all get to know each other.

The farm is a no smoking site.

Maryborough is part of the Fraser... more inside

We have found someone to help us at this stage - no one required! Thanks

Help needed anytime now until the 16th of March (longer term option if right fit!)

We are a happy and busy household living on a small farm in Pullenvale, Brisbane. We have 4 children aged 10, 8, 6 and 11 months; a dog; a cat; 6 chickens and a sheep. We have a pool here you can lounge the afternoons away!

Pullenvale is a friendly rural area with a country town feel yet its only 20 kms from the centre of Brisbane, a 40 minute bus ride to the CBD.

We enjoy meeting new people, entertaining, good food, wine and keeping fit.

Work would entail 4hrs per day/5 days per week; and would include packing up boxes in preparation for a kitchen renovation; some gardening work; painting; help minding the children; amongst other odd jobs around the house.

You will need a happy nature, good work ethic, a genuine interest in children and a love of animals and the outdoors; your own car; good english; commo... more inside

Hello. We are a family of three living in a beautiful part of the world in our three bedroom Queenslander. We have a dog and 8 chickens with a rooster. We would like to have more animals in time. We grow small amounts of fruit and vegetables and enjoy cooking, eating and sharing what we grow. We run on stand alone solar power system and are totally off grid. Being aware of power usage is a must. We plant many native trees to offset our foot print with most of our 50 acres heavily treed and backing onto national park. We see wallabies, green tree frogs, echidnas, snakes, goannas, turtles and we can hear koalas from our verandah and many birds can be seen and heard! We have a creek which runs most of the year along our front boundary and we often have a bbq there and relax by the water.

Our home is located 50 minutes from Noosa and 25 minutes from Gympie. Pick up and drop off from these locations as well as Pomona and Cooroy can be arranged but Gympie is preferred. We often take ... more inside

We are a free range pig farm and also raise goats, cattle and assorted poultry. We use regenerative agricultural practices and have recently started converting the farm using syntropic agroforestry principles. We are not certified organic but do not use chemicals or synthetic fertilisers.

Over half the farm is bush with heaps of places to explore and seasonal creeks. There is a dam for swimming. The farm has an amazing amount of Australian natural ecosystems to explore all within easy reach so you will have lots to do in your spare time. We are 45 mins from Cairns and around the same from the Atherton Tablelands. Our closest town is Biboohra 9.5kms away and there is s shop/service station there. Mareeba is 15 minutes drive.

We milk goats and have a house cow to provide us with milk. We also make our own bread. Work is varied depending on whats going on but fencing, animal husbandry, pruning, planting, gardening and feeding animals is normal for most days. We are cu... more inside

I am always looking for help with a variety of work/odd jobs, general yard jobs, light to medium construction, farmwork, fencing, gardening, household jobs and/or general housekeeping. If you can wash dishes, sweep a floor or empty a bin without being asked thats a big bonus. You will live with me in my home. I am a single Dad to 7 children (14, 13, 12, 10, 7, 5, & 3) Those with own accomodation are more than welcome. My home is rather small at the moment until I get my bigger home finished, power is sourced from solar and backup generator. All meals included (great food). Sorry no vegetarians or vegans, I am unable to cater for other special dietary requirements however you are more than welcome to bring your own requirements and cook it yourself. I spend most evenings watching a little tv and having some quiet time. I would love to learn about your home country... more inside

Hi I am looking for people who want to stay in beautiful Maleny and give me a hand with various tasks.
My house is walking distance to the township and public transport as well as half an hours drive to the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Brisbane is accessible by train and there are several swimming holes nearby. I have a pushbike that can be used.
Usually the tasks are general painting, cleaning, website building, gardening and sometimes little building projects. II can teach you and you can learn new skills.

The exchange is for willing workers in exchange for accommodation and food.

Maleny is a friendly, community strong village and is surrounded by beautiful rain forest pockets, swimming holes and walks.

At the moment my projects are painting and reforming the vegetable garden and putting in seeds, some weeding and even cleaning the house.Let me know what you would like to do best.

We have a cat called MEIMEI.

Looking forward to all x changers.

Love the beach? Love the Sun? Love cold beers by the pool? We have all three.

We are looking for fun and sociable people to work for accommodation in our beach-side backpackers resort. The hostel is situated in a casual stress-free coastal town in Central Queensland - 44km east of the City of Rockhampton.

We ask for 3 hours work per day including cleaning, gardening and landscape maintenance, vehicle upkeep and various other jobs around the hostel. We also ask that you help us maintain a fun atmosphere for all guests by helping out in any way you can; even if that means having the odd beer with the guests at the bar :) We ask that you enjoy yourself. You’ll be part of a relaxed and friendly crew of like-minded people and travelers, so make the most of it.

We ask for a minimum of 1 week stay. No maximum for fun people!!

Please contact us if you are interested and require any further information. We look forward to hearing from you.
