Small hobby farm with a few cattle, sheep, chickens and fruit trees. Was originally set up as an Arabian Horse stud but now only has a few horses including one stallion still on the property.

Picturesque property about 15kms out of town. Own transport is an advantage.

Help required includes general gardening, property maintenance, looking after animals, and assistance in the home. With lots of playing with the two dogs. Someone with some mechanical knowledge would be a greatly appreciated.

Opportunity to do some day travel with host, and possibly assist at events.

Beautiful. A steep block on the banks of the Blackwood River with stunning views. We are looking for a couple to stay from aprox July to Nov and help with gardening, cleaning, cooking, whipper sniping, burning garden waste, orchard pruning, and some beekeeping.

We have 2 large caravans set up in a pretty but secluded part of the property so you can enjoy privacy. Bridgetown is a perfect base to check out the entire south west region with Margaret River, Busselton and the City of Bunbury close by. Having your own transport is preferable as we are just out of town.

Just an average sized house with a large garden. Needing help with general house cleaning and maintenance of the garden as I work full time. Nothing hard or complicated just a couple of hours work each day. Train station and bus stop a close walk, Perth city is 30mins by train. Your welcome to go off and explore in the day or even have a part time job and put in your hours in the evenings. Private room with double bed and own bathroom. It`s just me, this is not a house with kids or lots of family to chat with. some chickens and the cat are the only others. Would be nice to have some sociable visitors and talk about their adventures and share meals together I have travelled the world and Australia myself. Please email any requests or questions before calling as I work in a department that doesn`t allow me to take calls. Can stay a night or more, might even be able to pick you up from the airport as its not far. I don`t drink or smoke and sorry but I don't have wifi.

A property nestled in the state forest, less than an hour south of Perth CBD. It is a 10 min drive from Armadale station (it would give you more freedom if you had your own vehicle, as the nearest town is 10 kms from the property).

It was originally a commercial orchard, however over the past 5 years I have been restoring it back to native bush for conservation.
If you enjoy the quiet life and like the outdoors and have manual skills this would be ideal.

I will provide accommodation (one couple and one single bedroom, shared bathroom) with wifi and I'm happy to share small essentials but you will have to provide your own food. Also I work away half of the week so you'll need to be self-reliant.
Hours are flexible, but 12 hours of work a week is expected. Work may include gardening, cleaning and depending your skill set, I could have others tasks for you.

On my property you'll get to meet Pinpin the alpaca, George the crazy bird (sulphur-crested cockatoo), and you are welc... more inside

We live on a very peaceful property (about 2 acres, surrounded by 3000 undeveloped acres) in Coolup, which is about 30 minutes from Mandurah. We are a family consisting of 1 adult, 2 children (aged 11 and 13). We live an alternative life which involves growing spray free veg and home schooling. We do not have television, however wireless internet is available. Our lives revolve around creativity, music (we are all musicians), cooking, learning and spending time as a family. We like to discuss topics of a spiritual nature and work on our individual roles of raising the global consciousness. I run Women's Circles and Community Drum Circles which you can participate in. Duties will involve cooking, cleaning, gardening, and hanging out with the kids. This will amount to approx 4 hours per day with some days being less and some days being more. Our lives are very flexible, which will allow for plenty of free time, which you are welcome to spend as part of the family. We are not a busines... more inside

Our family home was only finished late 2012, so we are still establishing permaculture gardens although our vegetable garden and orchard are complete.

We have a steer called Samuli, 2 chickens Thelma and Louise for eggs, and four border collies Molly Jack Tom and Spot and two cats Tiger and Missy who love company.

We are foodies and love to share different cuisines. Lee is a massage therapist(bit of a bonus)and we both enjoy welcoming Helpx to our home, and then become our extended family- we enjoy showing our region site seeing.

Lee needs help with the garden beds around the house and some farm yard work, and just general company would be lovely.

We supply a comfortable queen room/food and amenities in our home in exchange for 4 hours per day however we are flexible and are prepared to negotiate, and Bridgetown is a simply beautiful river town with good shopping, hospitality, library and amenities. It is only 1 hour 20 minutes to Margaret River(day trip) and a perfec... more inside
