WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HELPER TO ASSIST WITH PUPPY MINDING - AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER 2018

We are in rural Herefordshire, close to the border of Wales - a beautiful and interesting area, just a two mile walk from the historic town of Ledbury and the train station which links with Hereford, Birmingham, etc.The rolling countryside and orchards offer lots of walks so it will be especially nice for those of you who enjoy hiking and there is also a pub right next door! If you have a car you will have much more freedom to explore, however there is a local bus service and a train station about 20 minutes walk...so if you enjoy walking and quiet countryside this is the place to be!

The house is clean and very pretty and it has a small garden. Experience with dogs is essential as we would like you to mainly to keep an eye on this young spaniel pup (currently 4 months old), play games in the garden etc while its owner can get on with her work (she works from home) and tackle a few of the mo... more inside

Accommodation and English language training if required in our lowly but characterful three hundred year old fen edge cottage. Its scruffy and often a bit dirtyent as I'm decluttering days. But summer is still here andent its beautiful if you like animals and countryside and medieval cities and scruffy old cottages.

Its exactly halfway along the road from Cambridge to Newmarket, the capital of horseracing. Itís 7 miles from each centre. That takes about 15 mins in flowing traffic and considerably more in rush hour.
Urgently in need of helpers at the mom Please come

There is a bus into town(s) from the corner and there is also the park and ride service which is cheaper and quicker than the regular bus which is nearby so we can always run you to or from there in our car.

We are a couple in our mid sixties. I'm a semi-retired freelance English language teacher, teacher trainer and ex-author of resource books for teachers. I'm thinking of moving to Spain or France with the ... more inside

We are an intentional community of around 15 people from the ages of 6 - 88. We host a variety of weekend courses, run our own education programme and accept volunteers from all over the world, throughout the year. As our business focuses around guest-hire, there's always plenty of domestic and kitchen work, plus seasonal work outside. Decorating and maintenance are also great projects, whenever we get the chance. Our home is a large, characterful, historic house, with a walled garden, and beautiful land & gardens. We currently also have two oxen & two pigs.
Lots of potential...plus a beautiful grand piano that loves to be played!

Please note that there is a minimum period of one month and max 3 months.
To apply, you will need to complete an application form (https://form.jotformeu.com/70964100635351). We always require a reference and you speak English well enough to understand instructions, recipes and communicate with your house mates & guests.

The farm is set in a peaceful location in Lincolnshire close to many local attractions, the coast is only 25 miles away, the pretty market town of Horncastle is only 6 miles, across the road is the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, and Joseph Banks house is nearby.
As well as the arable side of the farm there are also 4 fishing lakes, an airstrip and a fairly new project of an Azalea and Rhododendron garden. Harvest tractor driving () in addition to free accommodation and food.

We are a family of four, with two boys, aged 3 and a half and 10 months. We are easy going, and enjoy the quiet life. We look forward to meeting and experiencing people from other cultures. Holly is English, Andy is Australian. We are happy to help people learning English.

We live in a mobile home / static caravan in a small community not far from Glastonbury (~10 miles), in the countryside. We are keen gardeners, and have an allotment nearby. We are a vegan household, and love cooking and sharing food.

We have been helpx volunteers several times around the world and are keen to get some help ourselves!

At the moment we have helpers until the middle of August, if you would like to come any time after that we need help with general chores and sawing up wood cleaning/painting, keeping the baby entertained, and we love being cooked for! Help is also needed at the allotment. We would expect around 4 hours work a day, with 2 days off a week. 3 meals a day. We are flexible with ... more inside

I have just returned to my family farm and would love some volunteers to come and help on the farm. We have 50 acres of grassland with 2 jersey house cows. A small herd of shorthorn beef cows and wiltshire horn sheep. We have a couple of glouceser old spot pigs, some chickens and a veg patch. The farm is highly diversified with craft/artists workshops, a campsite, a cafe, and a river swimming club. We have a small school on site and we do lots of farm education with school trips and also a regular farm school.
There is also 150 acres of conventional arable land that I am managing under countryside stewardship with an aim to encourage wild pollinators, bats and birds.
Volunteers would be expected to work 25 hours a week and stay at least 2 weeks. Jobs can vary and can include gardening, working in the tearoom, collecting subs at the river swimming club, looking after the campsite, and working with school groups. Depending on your experience you could also take on a project such as ... more inside

*** At the moment we only have space for helpers who are willing to camp (bringing their own tent, sleeping bag etc) in exchange for just 2-3 hours work a day plus 2 days off a week. Do drop me a line if you are interested :) ***

Set on the edge of the pretty fishing village of Beer on Devon`s south coast, this 39-bed Youth Hostel is in need of a willing helper over the coming months to help keep it looking it`s best.

The work here at YHA Beer mainly comprises of 4-5 hours a day of cleaning (inc making beds) with some occasional gardening and painting, and with 2 days off a week.
It`s not particularly glamorous (can include a fair share of cleaning toilets!) but the reward of living in this lovely village just a 10 minute walk to the beach, I think, makes it well worthwhile :)

Your accommodation would be in your own room in the small on-site staff flat which you`ll usually share with one other member of staff. There`s a shared bathroom and small kitchen for you to cook y... more inside
