Gayndah is a pretty little town 90mins west of Maryborough & Bundaberg. Great fishing and watersports in the Burnett river 10 mins walk from the house. Employment here is seasonal yet easy to find for those who want it. We have dirt bikes and 4x4 tracks very close by and many awesome and historic places to see and things to do.

I am a single father with 3 children ranging from 10 to 14y/o. I have some temporarily physical limitations however I'm still trying to renovate my house. I also enjoy restoring cars [I have my 57 Chev Belair and a 1972 Ford XA GT], and I write database driven websites for online shopping, forums, and online games.

The help I need is with daily domestic duties to free up my time for other jobs and because I want to spend quality time with my kids. Over the past 4 years since the kids mother left us I have tried to be both mother & father as well as everything else but it has been taking it's toll on my health and now I have to admit that I do need some ... more inside

We are a family operation with three young children who are home schooled by a Governess. Our main business is beef cattle farming, we run approximately 3000 head on 45,000 acres between two properties.

We are in a remote area of Far North Queensland, approximately 6 hours drive from either Townsville or Cairns. The closest access point for buses is Mt Surprise/Georgetown. We have a small plane which we use to travel between the properties.

The countryside is beautiful undulating eucalypt woodland with wide sandy creeks. Our wet season is Dec-March and it can be very hot during those months so bear that in mind if you don't like the heat!

Our work varies depending on the time of year. There is station work involving mustering the cattle, fencing, yard work, putting out feed and pumping water. Around the homestead it is more gardening, work in the shed, maintenance, housework, cooking and so forth.

We have donga style accommodation for singles or doubles, about ... more inside

We have a B&B nestled in the mountains on the outskirts of Brisbane (30mins by car) and half way to the Gold Coast (also 30 mins by car away). Our home is set amongst 20 hectares of natural bushland and close to extensive bushwalk trails, yet we are only 10 minutes by car from a regional shopping centre, bus and rail transport to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We are actively involved in conservation efforts on our property as it is listed as having rare and endangered habitat. We also have over 75 species of birds formally identified here. In 2010 we established a private nature refuge with the state government over our property to protect it from future development and to enhance the environmental values.

Work generally involves planting, weeding, mulching, helping with housework and improving our property. Greeting and assisting guests and serving breakfasts.
Also feeding our horses, dogs, cat and hens,

Help needed :- Landscaping assistance; Furniture restoration; Carpenter/building or domestic help

G'day
If our project interests you here, you are more than welcome. Please contact us about to arrange details. If you are travelling with a companion, they would be welcome here as well.

This is a project in ESK just outside Brisbane. Currently we are creating a very beautiful pond for frogs and native fish along with a native garden.

This project is renovating an old church and grounds for use as a community space - art shows, markets, gallery etc. This is not a religious project. There is an extensive workshop here with many tools.

Here the special skill required is the willingness to 'give it a go mate'.

Our biggest project at the moment is landscaping the grounds and the pond area.

If you would like to try wood carving then there are several big posts which can be carved.

Esk is a town which is 1 hour by road outside Brisbane. Esk has a population of 1000... more inside
