Welcome!
We have a Beautiful resort in Paradise!
and we would love fit, motivated, happy, healthy helpers who have big smiles to come and stay with us.
We have a variety of work from cleaning, gardening, horticulture, maintenance and office work, if you have the right skills.
We would like our helpers to stay for a minimum of 1 week so we get to really achieve some goals together.
We expect 4 hours work every day that you stay with us. In return you get to stay 50 metres from the beach, enjoy good food and company, swim in our pool, learn to surf and be a part of our fun team.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi!! We own a small farm in central Queensland. There are many activities we would love to share with you. There is a famous landmark a few minutes down the road from us (Mt Scoria). It is the only volcanic mountain in Australia (there are only 3 in the world). We have a number of National Parks to explore within an hours drive of our property. We also love bushwalking, camping, fishing and the outdoors. We are a happy, friendly, care free family looking for some help around our home with some small everyday jobs such as cleaning, gardening, housework, typical farm work including feeding pigs, chickens, ducks and cattle. We also have a bus business, so some help to clean buses would also be great. We are approximately an 1 1/2 hours from the coast and a few kilometres from our local airport which has direct flights to Brisbane daily. We have a small country town nearby. We can offer you your own room in our home and all your meals provided in return for your help. We are a very welc... more inside

We have a small hobby farm (5 acres) plus a leased 400 acres that we require help with weed control as well as general property maintenace.
We provide shared accommodation and meals in exchange for 4-5 hours a day, work five days a week.
Mena Creek is located 20kms south west of Innisfail - five minutes from the iconic Paronella Park. We are a young family who in the past have hosted backpackers with their own van which was a great success. So own transport would be an advantage, but not a necessity.

There are a number of WWOOF hosts at CW and other households that offer work exchange from time to time. The Community Co-op owned Eco Park offers a place to stay for people who want to visit CW but have not managed to line up a host. Current rates (January, 2013) are $22 per night for a bed in the Bunkhouse. Powered site is $20 per night(for 2 people) extra persons $5 each. Unpowered sites $16/night (2 pax) $5 extra pax.

Almost everyone who stays in the camping area for a few days manages to organise some form of work exchange. However, this cannot be guaranteed.

It is recommended for intending WWOOFers to find a host before coming to CW.

Friday is the probably the best day to come as things can be pretty quiet during the week. There is often a movie on a Friday night and there is a village market every 1st Saturday of the month and a music event every third Saturday. These offer good opportunities to connect with residents.
