We are 4km from the nearest beach, Taipa in the beautiful Doubtless Bay in the Far North of New Zealand.
We have a tidal river behind our property.

Duties will include, light house work, firewood collecting, garden weeding and digging, mowing lawns, clearing long grass and maybe some light scrub, general garden work.
Tree pruning, leaf raking, etc.
I am intending to do some painting inside my house and outside in summer.
I would like help washing and sanding walls and if you can paint houses that will be great .

I will always have wood that needs to be chopped.

I am negotiable regarding your stay.
There is an inside room available or an outside, sleep out with power and wifi.
If you provide your own food - 2 hours per day.
Including food - 4 hours per day.

There is a nice tent and mattresses here if you would like a more "outdoors" experience.

Hello to you. We spent May - September in Europe so to come back to our 50 acre block and host Helperx is exciting. At present we are selling Magic Land and don't need any help summer of 2017/18. Enjoy your travels.
Darren is a furniture designer and makes fine furniture here in his workshop.
This is an amazing piece of New Zealand. Its rural New Zealand in the Far North only 2 hours drive from Cape Regina. If the temperature even gets under 20C in the summer we complain and winter if its under 10C we leave te he, so its pretty tropical most of the time. We have a river running through the property with lots of beautiful trees, a large veggie garden and fruit trees. We are 18km from the beautiful Doubtless Bay with amazing white sandy beaches. We usually head for the beach after work most days and have bikes so you can explore the area. Lots of good walking tracks and we have kayaks that you can use on the river. We like to work and play and let you explore. We run... more inside

We are a family of 4 living in Kerikeri. Our place is surrounded by native bush and close to a waterfall. We grow our own vegetables and fruit. Besides gardening we are very interested in art and native plants and animals.

At the moment we mainly need help setting up a fence around a big new herb garden and making a few garden gates (to keep the friendly rabbits out). We are looking for one or two people who are practical, ideally with some knowledge in carpentry and who enjoy working outside in the garden.

Our helpers stay in a separate little cottage and share a bed room. (There is a queen size bed and a sofa bed). We offer a family lunch and dinner in exchange for 5 hours work per day. No work on Sunday.
Non smokers, please.

We are a family of 4, mainly from South Africa, but seasoned travelers until our youngest was born. We both work 6/7 hours a day and are looking for help looking after the children form time to time. My husband is a marine engineer and often goes away for work, I am also in the marine industry. We enjoy the ocean and Beach trips as well as good old Family fun together. We would like to expose our kids to learn about new cultures and other languages. So we would like to offer our spare room to someone willing swap for childminding. We are happy to help you get around with the car etc. Our home is between Kerikeri and Paihia (in walking distance, if you like a good walk) near Waitangi and bike tracks. We are very close to Haruru falls and forrest trails too. We often go to markets on the weekend and in summer travel for a good beach trip up the coast for surf and sun.

Hi there,
We're a young kiwi family with 2 young kids, and we've settled in Kerikeri after a dozen years in London. We live on a hectare (10,000 square metres) of beautiful, park-like gardens that roll gently down into a natural river. The work here is pretty light-duty, no real heavy stuff, and involves general, basic gardening. Pruning, weeding, trimming, mulching, planting, etc... In the evenings we enjoy good meals and good wine, music and company here as well, and in our home are all the creature comforts of a pretty decent hotel wifi, home cinema great beds, and so on. Having been a wwoofer myself and done some pretty tough jobs, this is comparatively easy work, and the lodging is a lot more luxurious than anything I ever experienced! Looking forward to seeing you!

I live in a lovely cottage by the sea. I have enjoyed having travellers in my home for many years. I work during the day but am home on weekends. I live in a quiet inlet area, with walks, the sea and a tennis court near by.

I need people who can work unsupervised doing gardening, painting and housework. 3-4 hours per day in exchange for accommodation (spare bedroom with a double bed) and meals. BBQ's on the deck in summer. Happy to make arrangements to suit if you want to have time to explore.

Your own transport is preferred, as there is no public transport. I can pick up from the bus stop in town if you have no vehicle. I live in an area which is 7 minutes drive away from Kerikeri township.

I have wifi for your use. You are welcome to share the kitchen if you want to cook. There is TV & Netflix. Use of the washing machine is also available.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing my drug free property with you. Smoking is OK outside on the deck.

We are a lifestyle block and have just built our first home. We are young, busy people who hold full-time jobs, and are trying to get our block tidy and functioning! We are currently running 4 cattle, and are working on projects of putting up base boards around the base of the house, firewood, applying mulch to newly planted garden, fencing and drainage work.
We welcome stays of up to one month in tenure.

We are Laurel and Peter, both in our 50's living on our farm with our son James who is 19 and our nephew Olly who is 8.
Half of our 260ha farm is in a pine tree plantation, the balance is in native and regenerating native forest.
We are off the grid and power our electricity need by solar panels , windmill and diesel generator. We are about to start processing pine timber using our own machinery. We are also setting up a garden.
Initially we need to convert a barn mezzanine into accommodation for helpers whom meanwhile can stay at our local pub which we own (Horeke Tavern on the edge of the Hokianga Harbour) until the conversion is complete. The downstairs area of the barn is set up as our timber machining workshop.
We are after helpers who can help in any way possible. We would like helpers who can occasionally help in the Hotel either behind the bar or in the kitchen.
